Superb family run business that understand how to make your stay the best it could be

Nothing it was all good

The staff welcomed us like family and did everything they could to make our brief stay the best it could be. We were upgraded to a suite with superb views over the coastline and the swimming pool. Although it was cold and wet while we were there the rooms had heating so it ensured our comfort throughout. The area surrounding Creta Blue is very picturesque, it being a small village with plenty of arty shops and tavernas amongst the narrow, winding streets. George and his lovely family were the perfect hosts and we do not hesitate is recommending this beautiful accommodation to enhance your holiday.

There was no complimentary tea or coffee in the room unfortunately and if there had been it would have started the day perfectly. In hindsight I am sure we could have asked for some but we only stayed for one night so it was too late by the time we realised there was none.

Fantastic. Quiet and realxed atmosphere Mainly adults

The staff were very welcoming and as it is a small hotel it feels like personal service. The rooms are a good size and the balconies are reasonably private. The restaurant is basically outdoors which works well with the climate; there are good views and the hotel has an excellent setting. Access is a little narrow but that's typical of Greek villages and the hotel were happy to send someone to meet us as it was difficult to find. Greek yoghurt with honey was excellent.

The friendlyness of all the staff, its amenities and the service provided

A beautiful 4* boutique hotel with excellent sea views thanks to its location on the slopes above Hersonissos. The hotel is excellently run by the incredibly friendly Roussakis family who will bend over backwards to accommodate every need and satisfy every guest. Service is personal and a very good example of Cretan hospitality. The hotel is only 5-10' walk from the heart of quaint little village of Koutouloufari, with wide range of tavernas and shops, probably the best resort within reach of Heraklion. The nearest beach is only 5' drive away at lively resort of Hersonissos but you will be better off driving an extra 5' to the much nicer beach by the ruins of the palace of Malia, or enjoy the stunning views from the infinity pool of the hotel. Room are stylishly decorated in traditional style, with modern splashes of soft furnishings, clean and very spacious. An excellent base to explore eastern Crete, only 20' from Heraklion airport, or relax under the Cretan sun

The hotel is on a slope so some guests might find the steep climb to the higher rooms a bit challenging. Please contact George (the owner) who would try his best to accommodate your needs

The view from the pool and our room (all rooms...) was amazing! The staff were great, especially George. Great location if you want to rent a car, so quite and beautiful.

The bed is hard and there's light early in the morning in the room. Breakfast is a little poor.

Owners of the complex are very friendly and helpful.

We had a Bert good vacation at Creta blue. The service is great and the environment beautiful. Nu advice to everyone is: Visit Creta Blue having a relaxing vacation.

Beautiful views of the sea. The breakfast was very good. The hotel manager was very helpful and he procured a car for us and was very helpful. His mother and father were also sweet, kind. You must try the ginger and garlic salmon his mom makes! It's amazing! What we loved: 1. Amazing views 2. Beautiful infinity pool 3. Warm staff and the kindness of owners 4. Clean nice rooms 5. Only a 4-5 euro cab to all clubs or you can walk down to hernissos! It's a short 10 min walk 6. Near all the excellent restaurants in koutouloufari 7. Excellent food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Liked everything. It was a great place to stay. If you are going to hersonissos or koutoufari you have to stay here. It was great!!! You will not find the same type of friendliness at large hotels. This boutique hotel was really nice. I will return!

My favorite part was the staff made you feel like a part of their family and would do anything for you if you asked. Its in a very quiet cozy setting but shopping, the beach and restaurants are all with walking distance. If you don't want to walk there are plenty of options such as rental car, scooter, taxi or quad.

Very well run and friendly hotel managed by George.We found the location great as we had a car but it might not suit all .

A shower fixed in the bathroom would be great and the wi fi was a bit hit and miss but only minor points.

Excelent staff, made me feel like at home, warm welcome. Great location, away from streets, but in the same time not too far from sea and very quite, good for leisure, stunning view from the room.

Excellent service, fantastic facilities, friendly and welcoming staff. Very relaxing, great place with lovely views. Quiet and peaceful. Nothing was too much trouble..

Better shower facilities would have been appreciated.

The hotel is nicely situated in the heights of Chersonissos, far away (enough) from the big touroperator hotel complexes and yet close enough to the nice little village of Koutouloufari with lots of cozy restaurants and boutiques. Nice, clean and spatious room with a balcony, very friendly hotel staff and manager, very nice views when at the swimming pool. We stayed only once for dinner in the restaurant, for the famous barbecue of the manager's wife and mother, it's a good occasion to get to know other guests.

The bed was hard and we tried different strategies to soften it a little bit... Don't be mistaken about the "kitchenette" in the room: you can make a salad or a sandwich, but you can't cook. There's a fridge too. Some people here claim about the fact that you need to climb the hill to your room, but it's not a big deal really, if you can climb the stairs you can climb this hill.

We were made very welcome at this family-run hotel. The manager and his staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food was good and the view from our room was breathtaking.

The roads leading up to the hotel were very narrow and the hotel was difficult to find.

Excellent accueil, Proprietaire tres serviable, idéalement placé près du village de Hersonissos, très belle vue sur la baie. L'hôtel est constitué de petits appartements individuels, donnant une impression de petit village calme.

Nous avons été accueillis par une famille chaleureuse et prévenante avec sa clientèle. Nous recommandons vivement la cuisine du soir avec une mention particulière pour la soirée barbecue. Les chambres sont de très bon standing et décorées avec goût. La literie est de très bonne qualité. La vue sur mer est à la hauteur des photos que l'on peut voir sur le site.

Un accueil très agréable , la possibilité de se restaurer sur la petite terrasse de la chambre ( très spacieuse avec une mini cuisine ), la situation géographique - dans un village typique mais toutefois en dehors et surtout voir la mer depuis la chambre- La ville côtière n'est pas très éloignée - on peut y aller à pied - mais on ne la voit pas.......et c'est le gos avantage de cet hôtel.Belle piscine.

Le petit déjeuner n'a pas un grand intérêt même s'il est servi sur une jolie nappe et une belle vaisselle. Quant au restaurant , proposition d'une "nouvelle cuisine " crétoise mais qui n'est pas à la hauteur de ses prétentions. Il faut quand même y dîner un soir.

Accueil très sympathique. Vue splendide. Snacks et restaurant le soir très bien. Quelques spécialités cuisinées par la maman. Attention comme partout en Crète les soles sont surgelées et super grasses (à éviter) prenez les spécialités locales. (Prix correct)
