near to the bus station
they do not understand english except for one person understand a little bit
Loved loved the front desk staff !so helpful! The large balcony overlooking the pool and village was so relaxing! Cretan bakery up the street... I wish I could go there again soon! ( they should have coffee too though!) Easy to buses that take you all over the island 15 min walk into town.. Nice! Pool was pretty and clean What great value for the money! Next time tho I hope I can afford a pool overlooking the water!!! I loved this place for what it was. Super
Biggest drawback? The bathroom Small ( ok) but shower nozzle worked only sometimes. We resorted to using the faucet on shower! I would like it if the towels were automatically replenished each day I would like the rooms to have a hot water maker for tea
The location of the hotel was wonderful - very near the bus stop that took you everywhere on the island. The French and Japanese concierges were both very helpful and forthcoming.
No glasses in the room, no potable water in the hotel, not even water for sale in the building.
We went to Santorini in Sept.13th. Surly there are other choices but most of them are definitely much more expensive. When we arrived,we were attracted by the clean, white and orange painted room with light blue curtains, and it is as good as those 160€-400€（per night）ones. We also have a lovely balcony with a swimming pool outside. It is a big surprise.when they turn on the lights of the pool,it looks so beautiful and I can't help unpacking my bikinis as soon as possible! The hostess of the hotel is a very kind lady and she helped us a lot about car-renting and how to arrange our schedule to visit all the worthy places in a limited time period. What was more, she even helped me to find a gown when a crazy idea came to my mind that we should hire a photographer to give us shots during the last day we stayed! We like all its convenience ,such as its location just opposite to the police station and a car-rent shop and it is juz 2 mins' walk to a bus station where you can take a bus to FIRA and other parts of the Island,a local supermarket(a real one,in which you can find everything including fresh lamb and vegetables),a laundry ,a bakery and several restaurants(we had excellent dinners at the one the hotel keeper recommend).
To someone who gave the hotel lower points,I think they may have to learn more about the timing things: first of all, if you r not coming in June,July,August and September, you may find some other hotels with better view of the sea at similar or a little bit higher prices. But during the golden season of Santorini, u have to pay hundreds of euros to enjoy the same rooms. For those who do not want to pay extra money, juz find a hotel like this one is the best choice. And as it is not in the center of Fira, you can enjoy the quient neighborhood without any noise from the over-crowded shopping streets or noise made by some rude tourists walking on the roof of your room(you will know it if you did stay under those beautiful white roofs in golden season)! And for those who wanna both the view and the cheap price, again,do not come with tons of tourists all over the world. If you choose to share the island with the crowd, just be fair and don't judge without investigations.
The Greek lady was nice and speaks English and French. The owners don't speak anything but Chinese. The beds were clean, the room was clean, and the rates were great. My experience here was just fine.
No breakfast, the wi-fi was not strong, and there is no shuttle service like they say. You will have to pay extra for that. They shouldn't be saying the have it when they don't.
The staff was extremely friendly and helped us find parking, tours, and good restaurants. The balcony added a great touch to the nice room.
The staff was very nice and helpful. Great location since its only 5min away from the town of Fira. Good price, great value for money.
The bed was a bit too short, since my husbant is 193cm tall :)
We met a very nice boss, very kindly and very enthusiastic. Help us a lot of things. Guide us some places and shuttle us from airport and pier. Give us very fresh fruit. Take us to the next hotel(in another city). Room is very large and clean. Has air conditioning and swimming pool. Very cheap and convenience. We can go anywhere immediateness.
good location, just near the bus station. 15mins walk to Fira center. Very helpful host! Worth the price.
1. the bus stop and super market are just 100meters away, very convenient and it is very easy to find it 2. the stuff there is pretty nice, she gave me information about the place of taking good picture of St. Gerasimos Christian Church and even draw a map for me!! 3.it is pretty quiet in the room
very helpful，very nice service，especially when you first time come to Santorini and to be in difficulties, the hotel will give you a lot of help and information
Great value for money and within walking distance to Fira.
Only one member of staff spoke English
We liked the service; the people working there were nice, but were not able to help us out due to the condition/circumstances of the hotel itself. They were extremely apologetic about the facilities. The Wi-Fi was good, and the pool was the best feature of the hotel.
A laundry list of items; first, no hot water or even a lack of cold water pressure at times - had to take cold showers. We were told by the employees that if a lot of people take showers in the morning, there would be no hot water available. So, we tried later in the day - same result. Obviously, the water heater serving the hotel was either completely undersized or not working properly. They did change our room with the prospect of having hot water in the other room, but we were teased for a few minutes; there was hot water for about a half-hour, then none again. We had called prior to arriving to confirm that there would be an iron and a blow-dryer in the room; the room had neither, but they did scrounge up a blow-dryer. There was only one iron to share for all the rooms in the hotel, and we had to wait our turn. The complimentary breakfast was dreadful; there was some dry bread and jam and a few boiled eggs. There was a concoction that looked like, for lack of a better word, phlegm in a stockpot, and some cut-up hot dogs. After going for breakfast the first day, we never went back, though we stayed four days at the hotel. As in most hotels, you had to have a card inserted in a slot in the room for the a/c and lights to work; unfortunately, this also cut off the power to the refrigerator in the room, rendering it useless unless you spent your trip in the hotel room. Overall, I would not recommend staying at this hotel, though it is reasonably priced. You do not get even what you paid for...
Let it be clear, I don't need a five star hotel -and for the price and the way the pictures made this place look, we originaly thought we made a good deal. We were wrong. It was really bad. It began by waiting for 15 min at the reception until we had to search for someone to check us in. A shower with almost no pressure, dirty floors, wifi only in lobby, tv did not work, ac worked half the time, broken toilet, stuff falling of the wall, stains in the curtains... The smallest and most poorly maintain pool ever. I don't usually write bad reviews but again, if it was a 40$/night I would not have said anything. Also, it's not that I even needed the pool, the ac and the wifi - but, if you are advertising that you have it when you don't and charging for it, you end up with people that feel like they just got cheated. It was probably a great hotel 20 years ago.
the location is good, close to Fira, and outside the hotel is bus station, where you can take a bus to red beach and Kamari directly. the swimming pool is excellent. nice staff could introduce santorini briefly to you and they also offer pick-up service free, which is very useful, because the bus from airport to Fira runs every hour.
during my stay, the wifi did not work well, the signal in my room is very weak, so I need to stay in lobby to surf the web.
LOCATION: Great location for taking business to the main turistic points. STAFF: The staff was friendly, you have a person speaking English, French and Spanish, while the other Chinese and some English (a lot of Chinese tourists were there). VALUE FOR MONEY: Rooms are ok, with a balcony, nice view, location. You pay what you get, and it is ok.
BREAKFAST: The breakfast. Milk, water, weird orange juice, corn-flakes, strange sweets CLEANLINESS: Almost ok. Try to bring your own shampoo, soup unless you want to use some small chinese creams they will leave.
Location, 15 min walk from Fira center. Ok swimming pool. Picked up at the port at arrival.
Not sound proof rooms. You can hear every door slamming in the buliding and traffic trough closed windows. The breakfast is not worth the prise of 10€, take a trip to the closest bakery instead. Aircondition was out of order most of the time. Tiny bathroom with anoying shower curtain. Did not change towels during our 4 night stay. Staff speaks english poorly.
Location and staff. We were staying for a few nights, it was very well priced, value for money and wifi in the rooms. We also got bags of laundry done for 5€ per bag which was returned to us later in the day! A bargain as other hotels in europe were charging 3€ per pair of underwear! The pool was lovely! I would definitely stay here again if traveling on a budget!
Nothing, you got what you paid for, Breakfast was basic but a nice gesture as it was free
The only good thing was that it was a 15 to 20 min walk from the main town Fira.
1- the staff do not speak English and only speak Chinese 2 - there is no elevator so we had to go up and downstairs with our bags 3. - we stayed there for 4 days and we had issues with the water everyday. We had to call staff to help as there was either no running water or no hot water or only boiling water. Again the fact that the staff don't speak English made it worse. 4- the sheets and towels were not changed until we requested it. 5- the wifi did not connect in the room provided 6- we had to ask for soap and additional toilet paper 7- the breakfast was not good 8- the hotel is on a main road and bikes go up and down early in the morning making it impossible to sleep past 7-8 AM. I would never stay there again.
I got single room with reasonable price, staff is very helpful, the boss keep my luggage for free even after I checked out for one day, I should say it is great value!
Nothing to complain for the reasonable price.
This is a family run hotel. The people is very nice and helpful. They pick us from port and send us to airport is free and give us many information during our stay. Compare to another hotel in the high season the price of this hotel is very cheap and also inclusive breakfast.
absurd place, dirty, lacking in everything. stay away from this hotel. We stayed for one night waiting for the flight, worse than this could not happen to us. The bathroom is impossible to describe how bad it is. No water in the shower and stay away from the toilet. uahhhh my God, I want just forget it
My family and I had a really good time at Cyclades. The best thing about Cyclades is the good attention we received from Nidia (the receptionist) and from the owners. They are people that really knows about the importance of a good customer service. So that made our stay very enjoyable. Also the place is well located, confortable and very very clean. Hope to visit it again.
Hotel is in good location and near bus station. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Excellent bakery up the street.
The bathroom shower was very small, uncomfortable and bathroom overall was below average.
The hotel was in a good location, the room itself was clean and quite big, balcony was nice, owner was friendly, quad-bike hire was close
The bathroom shower was not good, and bathroom overall was below average. The breakfast was not good. We ate it because it was included in our room rate but I do not recommend adding it to your booking for a cost. There is a nice bakery up the street that will be a better option for breakfast
