Fantastic view of cliff, sea and island from both inside room and outside. You will never get bored even you simply sit outside the room. All rooms face the cliff and sea! Very friendly and helpful staff. There is nice breakfast and swimming pool. Free shuttle bus services between airport and villa. Free WIFI. Around 10mins walk from town center of Fira. Wifi signal is sometimes unstable. Hope to get better.

Dana Villas was the first place we stayed on our honeymoon and the location along with the helpful staff and great rooms made it amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy the best sunsets in the world while being a 2 minute walk from shopping and restaurants.

Incredible hotel that provides guests with all the amenities of a 5 star resort. The hotel offers a nice pool with views of the caldera, as well as Firostefani and Oia. Fira is a nice 15-20 min leisure walk away via a cliffside path lined with restaurants, shops, and picturesque architecture. The hotel staff is amazing, and in particular Maria with the hotel restaurant who clearly represented the best as far as Santorinian hospitality. Although not an issue for us, it is worth mentioning that the hotel requires a bit of walking up and down numerous steps. That said, most hotels in Santorini have this issue.....a small price to pay for the amazing cliffside views. The hotel staff will help out with your luggage, which makes it a bit easier, but be prepared to exercise those legs.

Amazing location on the edge of the caldera. Caution: There are 196 large steps from the pool to the public pathway - not a good location for anyone with lower limb injuries or impairments.

I was in one of the family suites. My suite had a very private balcony with a superb view, and very comfortable lounge chairs. The room was spacious and very clean. In fact the cleaners must have noticed a mark on a wall (believe me to me it looked freshly painted) and someone came to touch up the paint work. The restaurant food was so good you could eat there all the time. Maria from the restaurant in particular was so welcoming and she looked after us as if we were family. I have nothing bad to say except you have to be prepared to walk up around 200 stairs depending on your room. Thank you Dana Villa's for a memorable experience. Maria & Costa's

The first thing is the view which is incredible. The hotel was great. Staff very helpful when we needed anything. It was spotless and overall just a fantastic hotel to stay in. I would recommend it to anyone who wanted to stay on the caldera side of the island.

Peter at Reception and other staff members helped with small issues related to arrival, planning the early-morning exit to the airport, etc. The stairs to our villa were a major challenge, particularly with luggage, etc. Peter made this issues largely go away. All in all, we were delighted with the Dana Villas property and all the amenities. The breakfasts were well planned, especially for those of us from other nations and cultures. The efforts to accommodate diverse tastes were very much appreciated. My wife and I will seek out opportunities to share our excellent experience with others whose travels might well take them to Greece and Santorini in particular. Thanks again, Don & Sherry Hicks The bed in our villa (117) was the biggest dislike. While I am not exceedingly tall, it did not accommodate my frame. The bedding was very hard, and I did not sleep well as a result.

The view is amazing. Really the best spot in Santorini, in the middle of the caldera. The hotel stuff is incredibly nice and friendly. I would recommend this place rather than any other!

Best aspect of the hotel were the views. They were stunning especially at sunset. I was aware when I booked the hotel that we would have many steps to negotiate, however, nothing prepared me for the number of steps from our room to the street level. We counted 156 from room to street and from our room to the restaurant and back at least another 50 steps. Thank goodness we were fit.The hotel would be about the lowest down the caldera face. It should also be pointed out that the hotel is in Firastefani and not Fira township. This is quite a long pull uphill from the bus terminus. Buffett breakfast was part of the deal and we felt the selection was average. Not what you would expect for the price. I believe the cameo photos in your website gave a false expectation of the hotel and facilities.

The view is spectacular and although quite full, it did not seem too busy. The individual studios are quite separate and spacious. The mattress was a bit hard.

This was an amazing hotel from the minute we arrived and the hotel had a man waiting to carry all our luggage down the many stairs to our room. The hotel has a fantastic location (the lowest on the hillside so you are just looking out to the beautiful ocean!). The hotel manager was amazing after checking out he orgainsed our transfer got our bags carried up from our room and offered to let us come back and use the facilities to shower and change in the afternoon before our flight! Best service in Fira!!!

Comfortable junior suite, clean rooms, lovely view, close to town, but lots of stairs, staff are helpful and very pleasant . Breakfast was good with a choice of hot or cold buffet. There are lots of stairs, not for the faint hearted, pool and dining area are at the bottom of stairs, on saying that the views are amazing as you stop to rest on your way back up.

the staff was very helpful. view was incredible. we had expected our room to be a bit more modern based on the pictures. it seems they last renovated the room perhaps in the 80s. also the first suite we had had a bad smell in it. (they changed our room no problem.) for that it felt a bit overpriced, tho you can't argue the location was amazing.

view from the room is amazing We booked a honeymoon suite, but the room was not even close to the room photographs on the website.. when we asked to change the room we wr told the hotel is full. the jacuzzi in the room was very old and half of the nozzles not working.. i think overall it was a rip off also the room was soo tiny to be a honeymoon suite..as we were on our honeymoon it was a bit of disappointment n we didnt even extend our stay(which we were planning to do earlier). if possible avoid the hotel

Location Foosty smell in room, Cracked hand basin, Wedding party on our roof, cash stolen from our room, , 156 steps to our room, overpriced - 2.5 star room accommodation at 4 star prices. Flippant comments by the owners when approached by us about overpricing that the 200 Euros /night was nothing.

We enjoyed our stay in one of the "honeymoon" suites which was very spacious and comfortable. The view was amazing and we enjoyed are time on the terrace watching the sunset. The meals we had were pleasant and the staff friendly and obliging. It was a place where you could meet and chat to other guests if you wanted or enjoy your own company. A fabulous start to our European holiday! Do not underestimate the number steps involved in staying in this hotel(or most others in Santorini). We had 127 steps to get to the pool/breakfast terrace! Our room was further up the hill than these facilities and the climb/descent was challenging.

Wonderful view and location; helpful staff; nice pool and jacuzzi; close enough to walk to town for shopping and eating; relatively good access to hiking trail along caldera rim. Lots of stairs to get there, but worth it!

The young man carrying luggage is of great help. He works also in the kitchen and maybe somewhere else. The pool and jaccuzi are well maintained even in the winter time. The view is quite good. However, rather than someone has said, it's the best view, I would say, that the hotels around could have the similar view. The hot water works less than 5 minutes. You cannot finish washing your hair. The electricity power in the room switched off all of a sudden one evening. The man at the reception the first day seemed annoyed, as we did not take their transfering cars for pick up, where the man picking up already agreed so.

“Very friendly owner & included (free) airport transfers. 'Katerina' also insisted on driving me to the wedding I was attending (again as a favor & free of charge). The villa was a small, homely place, very well situated close to the center of Fira. A great place to stay for the price.” Christopher, Southampton |
