Danae Villa

My friend and I stayed at Danae Villa for 5 nights, it was a secret gem we found and Evi was such a great host! The best hotel I stayed in for this little money!!! Nice pool, awesome balcony, quiet and yet only a 5min walk to the city center. Everything was new, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was brought up to our room in the mornings, loved the waffels with ice cream and strawberries :)

Food, service, all the stuff.

Evi is superfriendly! She picked me up from the port in the middle of the night and also when i got lost. Breakfast changes everyday and served to your room, its sooo good! The room is clean and the location is good- near Fira but not in the center of all the noise.

The hotel was easy walking distance to Fira center. The owner, Evi, was friendly and very helpful. Every morning she personally delivered a fantastic breakfast. She picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, drove us to the supermarket. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The pictures on the website are exactly what you get upon arrival. I highly recommend this hotel!

I stayed 4 nights at Villa Danae and I can honestly say that it has been the best of my accommodations in Greece. You could not find a better host than Evi. She really makes you feel part of the family and is an amazing herald of the Greek hospitality. Homemade breakfasts will keep you wanting for more as everyday, you'll have a new homemade product. Over the course of my stay, I had a croissant, cheese puffs, pancakes with fresh strawberries, ... The place is ideally located in Fira. With my flip flops on, it took me 10 minutes to walk to the ktel bus station where the buses to Oia, Akrotiri, Kamari (Ancient Thira), ... are. I will try to come back as Santorini is an enchanting place and I will stay at Danae, making sure to recommend it to any of my friends who would come to stay in Santorini. Plus they pick you up at the airport/port and drive you back there. Both transfers are included so no extra to be paid! Thanks again for an amazing stay!

We had an amazing time in Fira, Santorini and at Danae Villa! As young backpackers, Danae Villa was everything we wanted for our relaxing time on the island. Evi was absolutely wonderful and I would return in a heartbeat. The breakfast was incredible, the rooms were comfortable, the views were perfect, and we felt right at home. Evi let us park our rental car on the property, and even did our laundry. It was an amazing experience, and everyone should get the chance to meet Evi and her family. Our world needs more kind-hearted people like them. They picked us up from the ferry-port even though it was delayed, and we ended up needing to leave a day early due to ferry-strikes, and Evi was quick to help us out and drove us to the port again. Thanks for everything, and I hope to return soon :)

I never lived in such a good place before, the house master so nice that I had missed her just when I was left..and I never have so comfortable breakfast before ,everything is so perfect and all made by hand.trust me just go and live there, it will be reeeeally one of your best memory in santorrini and all your travells.

Is an small and warm hotel with very friendly staff. The owners prepare a very delicious breakfast every morning and they bring it to your room. The taxis from the airport to Fira are quite expensive, but they can go and bring you to the hotel for free!. Very clean and confortable. If I back to santorini, I will stay on this hotel again :)

Right from the start we liked that we were greeted at the port and brought to the villa. We loved our room that was perfect for our family. The rooms are rustic, yet have style, and we can imagine how nice they would be in the summer. Evi was very friendly and helpful. She made us feel very welcome with her little extra touches. Breakfast was varied, and we were given samples of Greek cuisine. We liked the location. It is outside where all the hotels are, but close enough to Fira. We would love to come back.

The exceptional service provided by the owner to include airport and port transfers, freshly made breakfasts served in your room and homemade baked goodies showing up from her kitchen at anytime make this accomodation a top notch value. We highly recommed it, you can't go wrong. Every room has a view of this beautiful island.

The best part of our stay at Danae Villa was the hospitality shown by Evi. She made us feel at home and catered to our every need considering that we had a baby girl of 1.5yrs and a 7 year old son. I strongly recommend a stay at her place which I am sure my husband and I will revisit as we completely love Santorini..and Evi made it even more special for us.

Good, very good owner! All i can say is she is very nice and kind! before check-in she will send you an email and ask if you need to be picked up at the airport. After check-out she will drive you to the airport and give you a gift, (I'm not going to say what's it, it's a very good gift for us). Consider the very low price, Danae Villa is a perfect choice. I consider it as an apartment with a 4-star service. Will come again! !!

location is not good as others, maybe that's why it's so cheap

The staff was outstanding - from the pickup at the port to the final billing. Evi did everything to make our stay comfortable. She doubled as a tour guide giving us directions to the best places to see. She made a wonderful Greek salad for the guests to try and did an cooking demonstration on making Greek coffee. The rooms were very nice and the pool area is delightful.

The location was 10-15 minutes walk to the main part of Fira. This wasn't a problem for us but we didn't return to the room often during the day.

we stayed 3 nights in danae villa.evi and her husband , the owners of danae villa, were very kind , helpful and lovely.we were transferred by evi's husband , from and to the airport, without charge.evi(english teacher) welcomed us with coffee and cookies and with adorable smile. the room with its veranda are excellent. the breakfast was good and evi tried evry morning to add something new to the meal.we were allowed to keep our room in the last day of our stay ,till 6pm , whithout additional charge.the wi fi was free and reliable. we loved our little talk with evi and she gave us practical valuable information about santorini. we were given by evi towels, to use in our boat trip to the caldera. we will highly recommend danae villa to our friends and we hope to return again to it.

Very nice breakfast served by the garden pool (or in your room if you requested it). The staff went out of their way to make make our stay special. Very clean and tastefully decorated rooms.

The owners could not do enough for us picking us up from airport dropping us off at a different hotel the next day.lovely breakfast by the pool.5 Minute walk into the centre Fira so no hire car needed.

Danae Villa is super nice. They are so helpful an friendly. They picked us up from the port and sent us to the port as well. EVI is so nice and responsible for every guest. She is always smailing and ready to be helpful. The swimming pool is clean and lovely. Location is brilliant, close to centre and really quiet. Not like the hotels in the Santorini centre, this is a more relaxable and peaceful place to stay. In a word, wonderful !

Danae Villa ran by a wonderful owner who is extremely friendly and helpful throughout our whole trip. Every morning breakfast was served downstairs by the pool which is full of nutrients and protein. The villa itself is a small running family-business therefore at night it is very quiet without any disturbance. My boyfriend had an amazing time staying in this beautiful villa and truly recommend to everyone =)

The famliy hostress Evi is so so so welcoming and helpful in our trip in Santorini. The room is very clean and comfortable. There is a beautiful garden and swimming pool in from of our room, which is so nice for enjoying the sun in the afternoon. The breakfast is delicious made every morning by Evi. She is a so beautiful English teacher, who brings us lots of happiness during the stay. We stayed one more day instead of moving to Kamari. 非常物超所值的一家家庭旅馆，下次有机会再去圣岛，还会住在Danae：）

Evi from the hotel is amazing women which let us feel very good during our stay , she were kind a d nice help all the time , come and pick us from Fira Center to hotel and offer us a ride to airport when we left , am defiantly recommend this place as best for value for money.

everything about this place is fantastic!! i can't say enough about the staff (family run hotel), who picked us up and dropped us off from the port. The price is ridiculously good for the service you get! breakfast by the pool is fantastic, the rooms are really well looked after, and the location (5-10 minute walk from Fira and the central bus station) is really convenient.

The Danae Villa was a very relaxing, very clean, very well run small hotel. It has a lovely garden, where we sat for breakfast, with a small swimming pool. The owner Evie and her family are lovely, very friendly and helpful. They provided collection from and back to the port free of charge. We had a very enjoyable 3 nights.

I spent four days at Danae Villa in Fira, as part of a longer vacation in Santorini with my wife and my two kids. I have never found such a friendly atmosphere anywhere else before. Evi, the host, was always helpful and charming, especially with our kids. The room is spacious and super-clean. The property is located at 10 minute walking distance (uphill) from the Fira town center, which is good, so you can rest in a peaceful environment away from the crowd. Of course, you won't have the view on the Caldera, but for that you probably have to pay 10 times more, for the same quality of service. You will not be disappointed!!!
