Near the ferries. The pictures lie! The hotel looks awful inside. And outside. Yes, the rooms are clean but nothing more. The beds are not comfertable. Its okay to book at this hotel if you are staying only one night and are suposed to take the ferries out on the islands.

Yes, the location is great for an early ferry, but there are heaps of other hotels, so dont stay here. There are rats in the roof that run and scratch all night and seem like they are in the room, hotel staff are rude and unhelpful, smell of urine, the bathroom door is too big and doesnt close, no floor space at all for a room for 5 people, can hear people in other rooms very clearly- I really could go on... Please stay elsewhere

Because of traffic strikes in Greece these days I will give Hotel Delfini a high five for having some drivers to the airport for a fixed price for 40 euro. It is a shabby hotel. The shower was leaking out on the floor in the bath. It is not worth 40 euro per night. The sheets are clean, and the staff is helpsome. The location is the reason why to stay there. Some rooms on the lower levels have a fridge by the way.

Only the location, it is really 5min walking distance from the port. Some of the rooms are impossible to live in - with no space to move, the bathroom is so small you could not fit! Not worth the price!

The only good thing about this hotel was that it was close to the Port. The air con didnt work so the room was really hot. The door to the bathroom did not close properly. When we checked in at midnight the man on the front desk was not very welcoming and did not give us any details about the hotel and what services they offer, for example, what time breakfast was and the cost. The breakfast was poor. I had warm milk on my cereal and the air con in the breakfast room was not working so the room was really hot. Not a comfortable environment to eat breakfast.

The only advantage is that the hotel is near the port of Piraeus, so if you are coming back to Athens on the late ferry - it is close. If I were to do it over, I would make the trip away from the port to a nicer hotel. Not clean! Carpet in the room was disgusting, afraid to walk on it without shoes. Bugs and hair in the shower. Tiny, tiny bathroom. Triple room was a joke. We had wall to wall beds and literally no place to put the suitcases. We would have checked out and gone somewhere else, even though we arrived at midnight - but taxis were on strike. So stuck there for the night. We left in less than 8 hours, just slept and got out of there!

THe proximity to the port to catch the early ferry in the morning Very tired and old hotel ,very difficult to park in one way busy street to offload luggage The room that was listed for 6 people was really only big enough for a double bed,you had to walk in sideways from the door to get to the bedroom as there was nowhere to put your luggage but in the hall way. Bathroom in desperate need of a clean and upgrade no ventilation at all,The aircondioner in our room was just blowing warm air we made the mangement aware of this ,one of the cleaning staff that came to check our complaint did assure us that it would blow cool air eventually ... it never did This was not at all comfortable on a 30 + degree night and no breeze coming through the window and 5 adults in this small room.

The front desk attendant did as much as he was able to do to help me find my room. Upon arrival I provided my name which is what the original booking was under and it took about 15min before they could find my room. I had included in my reservation names of my friends that would be arriving before me and upon arrival I gave both my name and their names and still had a problem finding the room. There needs to be a better system of tracking who is in what room than just scribbles on a piece of paper. I work in hotels as well, and the value for this hotel is based more on location to ferry than comfort. The room is set up with 2 sets of bunk beds, and a rollaway bed, and getting into the bathroom requires some major maneuvering. If there was any kind of emergency we would have major trouble getting out. I am not sure how important safety of guest is however I think it should be top priority.

Great location for early islands ferry. Run down sad hotel. Tiny triple room with no space for bags. Needs many cosmetic and functional repairs -- sink did not drain, shower curtain held in place b fish wire, door handle falling off.

I had no choice but to stay in the closest location of the port. I heard so many scary stories about the people of Athens especially at night. This hotel was so far the nearest to the port. The hotel needs to be fixed, needs lot of repair. there was no breakfast offered, they charge us for use of internet,

Only the location and the politeness of the desk staff.... It was filthy, dirty, carpets disgusting.... Bathroom I was scared to use... I slept on top of the bed with my clothes on the blanket/cover smelt of stale body odour. I use your hotel system a lot and this is the worst hotel... It's not anything like what you descibe on the web site.... Go check it It's disgusting....

Very close to the port and ideal for one night stay before getting the early ferry the next day. Room was comfortable warm and practical and very cheap. More assistance from the receptionist could be improved as we were harrassed by a local trying to obtain money for showing us the hotel even though we had nat asked for this help.

The only thing I liked at delfini hotel was that its really close to the port, so in 2 minutes you are in the harbour and the receptionists were all very friendly. The hotel is old and you can see it in every corner.

Location very convenient. Price very reasonable for double room. The description of "sound proof" rooms is not true. It is not so loud as you would expect being so close to a port, but it is not "sound proof" (maybe this is a translation error). The hotel is old, and the carpets are dirty, the beds are really lumpy...but in the end we slept well cos we were so tired...and really what can one expect for 35euros for two people? In this hotel you get what you pay for.
