'Dioskouroi' is a small family hotel with 6 four-bed apartments and 4 two-bed studios. There is also a large indoor-outdoor swimming pool and a Jacuzzi. Higher up, is a thoroughly enjoyable roof garden. The hotel is 300 metres from the beach.

Area information

Agia Pelagia is 20km west of Iraklion on the Iraklion - Rethimnon highway. Agia Pelagia was the site of an ancient Greek city. It is not clear which one exactly, but some assume that it was Apolonia, the city that was destroyed by the Kydonians at 171 B.C. The name Agia Pelagia originates from the monastery of Agia Pelagia, approximately 1km west of the bay. In the wall of the old monastery there are two shields in relief and between them a coat of arms. The coastal resort of Agia Pelagia is built along a wonderful sandy bay, where the sea is calm and the water crystal clear even in the windy days.

The bay of Agia Pelagia is ideal for combining sea sports with relaxation. The visitor will find well trained instructors that offer lessons for sea sports such as water-ski, wind surf, canoe.

Gabriel Young couple Timisoara, Romania August 28, 2011	It is a very good location for couples and families, near the beach, ideal for excursions in the area. The staff is very nice and friendly, we received any information I requested, tips for trips in the area, shopping, excellent quality - price ratio. The hotel and rooms are great looking, rustic and cozy, daily cleaning. Breakfast is fabulous. We got homemade products made by owner's mother: orange juice, orange jam, cakes.
