It's very good location!! Just 3 mins walking distance to the metro station Very affordable rate
The bed is not so comfortable
Great location, staff were extremely friendly and helpful!
Staff super friendly at check in and its very close to the central omonia metro stop. Its ok for a night, but better to spend 10 more bucks and upgrade close by, like I did.
Pipe for sink had a small leak and there was a puddle in the bathroom floor. Didnt bother to ask for another room as arrived late and only paid for 1 night. They are fixing the place up, they need to do a bit more though.
Worst hotel ever! There was mould in the bathroom and it was smelly. There were hairs on the sheets and in the bathroom. The breakfast was awful. The whole place is run down and looks like an institution. We were booked for two nights but left after one.
Location was great to the metro. Close enough to wk to the historic sights and shopping. Good value for the price. Staff was helpful especially with bus info to airport etc. room was clean and beds comfortable.
Cigarette smell rising up from reception to the upper rooms. No breakfast or even hot water offered for morning tea. No complimentary waters or anything. Basic.
Old hotel need to be renovated
location is good.. and city view from terrace is really nice though it's not acropolis
bathrooms need to be renovated.. it's old and too small..
Wireless internet decent, though a tiny bit slow
breakfast - only bread, jam and cake. would have been nice with a non-sweet option, even just a simple cheese
Friendly and helpful staff, easy to find location, near to transport and best free map of athens city!
No kettle inside room. Small elevator even for 2 person with luggage.
The wifi is perfect.
At first one receptionist told me that he couldn't give me the remote control for the ar condicionado bcs it wasn't hot. I argue that it was included in the description and he finally gave me. I didn't think it was to honest.
Manager (Owner) was very friendly on our deprture. Location is excellent for the hop on , hop off tourist bus.
We arrived late (2330) due to a late ferry. The receptionist (Youngish , with a beard ) was very offhand, gave the impression he couldn't care less about us
Friendly, helpful, flexible and kind stuff Centrally located Nice view on the 7th floor They speak good English Non-stop reception
Extremely small bathroom and shower cabin (in room 701) Cold room (i was there in October) Very poor bed quality Dangerous district at night, don't go in the small streets
Fast Wifi and located near to Metro and easy access to the Acropoli via Metro. Staff were quite friendly and would keep your bags safe after you check out.
Room looked generally worn down, cracked woodwork, rattling window, grimy bathroom with bugs, needed cleaning. The "breakfast" was hardly a breakfast, it was a piece of bread with jam or butter
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I read the reviews before I went and to be honest many of the negative points were not warranted. There is truth in the adage that you get what you pay for! It was a very reasonable price for what was on offer. If you want 5* then pay 5* prices. I would definitely go to the same hotel again.
I wasn't impressed with the breakfast, but was content not to worry about it. The cost of the hotel was worth it even if there were no breakfast....treat the breakfast as a bonus!
NICE RECEPTION, VERY CLEAN AND TIDY ROOM
near the metro and shops, view of acropolis from afar, the front desk were accommodating and helpful, cheap hotel with basic needs, free breakfast, though I was not able to eat there, seemed safe for a female solo traveler
if you're a light sleeper, you'd easily be awake by the sound of the passing vehicles. a/c was working but not cold
The location is pretty good overall, just a few minutes walk from the acropolis.
The room was not very clean, escpacially the bathroom, the furniture was old and beaten. There were cracks in the ceiling and the walls. Dissapointing for a big hotel in the city. Breakfast was absord, only bread, butter and jam. Parking is in a parking lot a few blocks away and is paid seperatley.
Excellent location. Close to the Omonia metro station. Walking distance to main views.
Room is small. Breakfast so so.
-the room was not cleaned, there are hairs on the floors and bed. -the bathroom was awfull, smells very bad. -the guy at the receptionist seems drunk (I arrived nearly 11 pm) -in the morning too much noise I will not recomend this hotel. You can find much better hotels for this price.
Rooms are very basic and reasonably clean, but location is very convenient, reception staff is friendly and helpful, price is low. Fine for one or tow nights.
location next to metro and hop on hop off, 15 minutes from monastiraki, passing through varvakeios market.good price.found great offer!!very helpful staff 24 hours!!!
breakfast.do not count on it very poor.just have a coffee and seek for a place to have breakfast.not good bathroom.
24 hour reception.
The room was horribly unclean, the entire hotel needs a reno. All walls are scuffed and dirty they have areas were plants should be but now just have dirt in the hallways. The bathroom made very loud noises all night long. They might have live in residence living in the hotel (man beside us sang loud religious songs all day and night long). I would not pay more than 10 dollars a night for this dump. Spent my entire time there checking for bugs. The washroom was dirty as dirty can be.
It was clean and location is the best. Really close to Omonomia metro station. Staff was great and helpfull. WiFi was good.
breakfast is poor
One can tell that before the economic crisis this place was quite decent, and years before that it may have been even quite superb. It's a little heartbreaking to see how the hotel tries its best despite the evident toll the times have taken on it. The staff are so warm and welcoming. The geographic location is great..it's cheap and central with excellent wifi, and if you are on a budget and have little time to visit the city what more do you need, stay here and support them and maybe things will pick up.
The breakfast should just not exist. Its two slices of pre dried toast and coffee grain flavoured water. But don't judge the place on this, they should just remove the idea altogether.
