Hard to find good comments Its like a construction site wiith too much noise! Builders, drilling and knocking down rooms. Impossible to stay in your room from 8am till afternoon

We stayed here at both the beginning and end of our trip to Greece. For the first stay they upgraded us to a suite, which was really, really nice. We made good use of the rooftop pool (a rarity in Athens). Also, loved the housekeeping and turn down service in the evenings. Very comfortable bed. The prices for "extras" are outrageous-- 15 euros/day for Internet (wired or wireless), a cup of coffee is 6 Euros, the breakfast buffet is 29 Euros (and not worth it). If we hadn't gotten a good hotel rate, I would have felt totally gouged. Tip: There is free wireless internet at the restaurants in the square next to the hotel (E.G., Pita Pan).

The Divani Caravel staff at check in were very helpful and allowed us to check in at 10.30am and have a late check out (2pm) on our last day at no extra charge. The rooms were very comfortable and this is in a lovely location near the Metro or a pleasant walk to the main tourist area. We highly recommend this hotel. Taxi's are very easy to find on the street. We however let the hotel organise one for us to the airport who over charged us (should have been flat rate 35 Euro). Not the hotel's fault but be aware that this can occur.

Good position for traffic, conferences and business a pretty nice but quite long walk to shops. But good because well away from all the current drama in Athens. Also was upgraded for no apparent reason which was nice. Expensive and fairly average wif Fi. Most other much cheaper hotels in Greece seem to have for free.

For not knowing anything about where the hotel was, it was in a great location for our needs - Special Olympics World Games. We were just two blocks from the main bus line and a short walking distance from the Metro (subway). There's a variety of restaurants around the hotel that take either Euros or Visa - you do need to ask. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful in booking extra side trips, or acquiring a taxi for you. The website doesn't indicate that you have to pay extra for the use of the gym facilities. This would have been nice to know before going. A suggestion would be to post on the website the additional costs to the gym, computer use, etc. The hotel restaurants were pricey.

Fantastic rooftop pool with a view of the Acropolis that is open in winter. As far as I know its the only one like it in Athens and we had it to ourselves for hours! Nice spa with free sauna and exercise equipment. Very big and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast included. Didn't charge extra for an additional child (third person) in our room. Charged us 4 Euros for a bottle of water from the mini bar that we didn't drink.

The localization is great. The place is calm and in a walking distance to Sintagma square (20 minutes walking) and Acropolis (30 minutos walking). There is also buses (1 minute) and metro (10 minutes) nearby.
