A short walk from the Acropolis, 5-star Royal Olympic Hotel is centrally located by the Temple of Olympion Zeus. The luxurious rooms overlook Zeus’s Temple, or the swimming pool garden.

Centrally located in Syntagma Square in Athens, the Amalia Hotel is right across from the National Gardens. It features comfortable rooms with satellite and pay-per-view TV, and Wi-Fi internet access....

Breakfast was excellent
The staff were very helpful and friendly. They helped me with sorting out different excursions and outings and helped me get the most from my trip.
The mattresses did not suit my back, but I have a specific medical condition
Value for money Location Friendly staff Comfort Breakfast
Stayed for 4 days. No problem whatsoever. Very good hotel and good amenities. Nice location and very friendly staff. Got a good view of Acropolis from room balcony. Would definitely stay again and 100% recommended.
I have no complaints or regrets.
nice staff, great location.
We paid big money and the room is not as nice as the money.
Double bed was in fact two single beds next to eachother.
Very comfortable and spacious room.
Very expensive breakfast - 20E for buffet breakfast! Full breakfast for 8E a short walk from the hotel.
the worst experience which I ever had!first of all staff who work in hotel are not friendly at all never smiling to you,and it's 5stars hotel. Secondly, they cannon provide a proper information Durin check out had issues.because one of the guest left early morning and under her name was a reservation and as we have been told they made preacrivisation of the card and didn't even ask to sign, anyways we had to pay by cash..I still didn't get my money back which they blocked!i send them e-mail nobody replied! One day it was rainin and in five star hotel they don't even have a umbrella Really disappointed with service ,never will come back again
Location Stuff and service
No parking. Breakfast was too expensive
Fantastic location Variety of TV channels Staffs are very nice and helpfull
The hand washing sink design keeps the dirt out side
The location and staff were wonderful. The hotel was fantastically located within walking distance of most places to visit in the center around the Acropolis. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the hotel was very clean.
Breakfast was not included and at 20 euros per head very expensive, and thus not good value for money. If they included breakfast it would have been better, especially when feeding a family of five every day. We ended up eating out for all meals because of the high cost of food at the hotel.
the location was very good!
when we get to the floor of our room the first day, thhe smell of the hall was terrible,so we talked to the people in charge and then they fixed and gets better.
Very poor quality breakfast. Bad smell in room. Had to change after the 1st night. Poor bathroom standards. No amenities as expected in a 5 star hotel. Staff inexperienced and uninterested. Shame!
Where should I start! Poor mattress, room stinks, couldn't sleep either of the night because of the noise from the TV next door, from people checking in. No ironing, no kettle , not even a conditioner in the room. Kettle and iron not provided because of safety reasons ! Really!!!!!
close to everything Nice staff Clean and quite
wifi reception was poor in the room, maybe also because my phone is a little old.
The location can not be better. It is only 2 min away of walking distance from viewing the Acropolis. 5 min away from old center, Plaka. Staff was excellent, very prompt room service, everybody speaks English and some other languages.Very safe to leave all your accets in room, I even did not use the safe. Nice hot shower in bathroom, large bath, most comfortable mattresses, outside balcony. Right across from the hotel great supermarket. If I would travel to Greece again, I will choose the same hotel.
Breakfast was a little pricey. 20.00 Euros The buffet was excellent, but if you think... how much you can eat early in the morning... I wish they would serve it till 12p.m, not till 10 a.m.
Nice big hotel, close to the Acropolis, Acropolis museum, restaurants, cafe and other touristic sights. also there's supermarket nearby. in general pretty good hotel.
the pillows were very small and not comfortable. there was no coffee/tea making facilities. also the room design was lil bit old.
Coffee or tea tray in the room a must
The Location was very good. the room was comfortable too.
The central heating was on and it was very warm in the room. When you opened the door, the noice was simply too much to have a good night. It would be better if we could control the heating in our rooms.
Location is very good, next to the museum of Acropolis. Room service people an cleaning ladies polite and efficient.
I would definitely not call this hotel 5 star. Three, maximum 4.An extra 20 euro was charged for the breakfast. Otherwise breakfast was good. Most people at the reception were rude.Prices at minibar and restaurant were obscene for a city like Athens. And the food was also not good.
Location and view with outside patio
Poor breakfast offering and rooftop bar closed. I am guessing because of seasons, but disappointing.
the personal real professional and kind
The hotel is great excellent room, everything nice and tidy. Good room service. Had a great visit will visit again in future!!
