Staff: even trainee didnt put a lot of eeffort to be even polite. Room:dirty night lamp, dirty shower curtain, broken bottom of the bathroom door. Dirty corner in the sink areas. Wery old and not powerful hair dryer. Check out was at 11.30, but they started renovation of the next room at 9.00. Couldnt sleep. Staff knocked to the door and without waiting entered the room. Most terrible stay ever.
Good location with a view of the Parthenon from our balcony. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The neighborhood adjacent to the New Acropolis Museum seems to be the new center of action. The hotel conducts a lot of group business. The hotel did not offer a full fitness center. The pool was in shade most of the day. This did not matter much as we spent most of the day exploring this incredible city.
Clean comfortable rooms with plenty of space. Great selection for breakfast. Within easy walking distance to the centre of Athens and attractions.
The hotel was very closed to Acropolis so pleasant access to walk to. The garden roof was amazing looking to Acropolis.
From the moment we arrived at the hotel the staff were very friendly and welcoming and that was how it stayed. Nothing was ever too much trouble they were also lovely with my toddler. The room was fresh and clean, you could see the Acropolis if you bent far enough over the balcony. We were on the 5th (one below the roof top restaurant) so late at night you could hear the tables and chairs being moved about. The food was very good and enjoyed by us all. The location is good only a 5 min walk to the Acropolis and 10 to the town and restaurants, so not in a noisy location. We would go back there and recommend the hotel.
I mailed the hotel that we would have our 7 year old daughter with us and I would be pleased if they could add an extra bed for the child if possible. When we arrived the hotel I was happy to see that they had upgraded our room to a suite with a private room for my daughter without any extra charge. That was really pleasing. Good location if you want to spend time around plaka and 5 min. walk to the acropolis metro station.
The location for a simple walk in the morning to the Acropolis. The Restaurant on the roof- both with excellent views and food.
Turkey sausages that are tepid and tasteless- mind you thats turkey sausages for you!!
Dinner was delicious. Beautiful view from the rooftop. Excellent location. Staff was so friendly.
Pool was small, breakfast was so so, nothing special.
Walking distance to all main attractions. Room comfortable
Clean Comfortable Spacious Location Friendly staff
hotel needs a revamp, pool could not be used in the afternoon ?
Very clean, spacious rooms. The rooftop restaurant is excellent, great selection of food and wine, the view of the Acropolis is stunning.
Location, staff friendliness, generous size rooms
Breakfast was not great
Excellent quiet and exceptionally well located close to all the main attractions and transport (open top buses, underground train, happy train, loads of restaurants) and all in easy walking distance. Lots of little galleries and mini marts etc. Very quiet area of a beatiful city. Very close to Acropolis etc.
Two single beds joined together to form one. When pressed I was advised that we had been upgraded to a better room and I could go back to another (older) room if I chose. We chose not to press the point as it was quite nice other than this (and we both got a really good sleep in all reality). Mini bar very expensive (standard I suppose)
Great location Central to most attractions, dinning and shopping Staff of hotel friendly and helpful
Not having an iron in the room Having to choose between none smoking room and a great view of the Parthenon Ended up choosing the great view and opening the balcony doors and air the room
over all superb. positioning regarding the acropolis and many other sites on foot excellent. staff superb. décor fresh and tasteful, not over done. food on roof top restaurant overlooking acropolis amazing view and meal. all together nothing left to be desired really. Pool a delight. will be looking for this chain around Europe.
pool was shut from 2.30 to 5.30 pm just when you want it!! but that was the law. shame you couldn't have lunch in the roof top restaurant - but never mind!!
Good service. Near Acropolis.
Smell in the room. Building and furniture little bit worn out. Weak soundproofing.
Broken bathtub fixture
Close to all sites. Great staff
Roof top closed for spec/event closed to guests.
Location. Next to Acropolis, center of the jld town.
Staff: room wasn't ready for the check in time. Dust was on the corners of the room. Too expensive without breakfast (+20 euro).
Super attentive, helpful and friendly staff Great food in the restaurant Good location - just 2 minutes walking from Acropolis entrance Plenty of souvenirs shops around
They gave this single woman a room near the elevator and not at the end of the hall as so often happens. Safety issue.
My ad didn't work and had to be repaired at 2am. Pool not open after touring/approx. 2pm to 5pm during siesta, yet screaming children were allowed around the pool deck. Individual table ay breakfast buffet awkward. A lot of walking back and forth.
We were able to leave our bags while we went looking around
No view ( it's the only reason I booked here as it was my understanding there was a view). We were not contacted/answered in regards to airport transfers and we both emailed them The cleaners came in early to do our rooms and woke us up. As our flight was delayed and we didnt check in till 3am and check out is at 1130 not 12 as stated on booking.com
The view, but you must reserve a first floor room. The pool is very small but clean and good for a dip. The service staff are friendly and the chap who collected me from the very was very helpful and arranged a moped hire for me , which you really need to explore the island. You can also hide a quad bike for couples...greats fun, and a beautiful island.
The hotel was easy to find, brand new and in an excellent location. The rooms were large and clean. The rooftop patio was open late, gorgeous and had a spectacular view of the Acropolis. Good value!
While the atmosphere of the rooftop patio was really lovely, we only went once as the food was really sub par and over priced compared to other restaurants we ate at.
