Hotel Doupiani House    

Mycket bra bemötande, och bästa läge med fantastisk utsikt mot Meteora. Trevligt rum och inbjudande lokaler för kvällsgemenskap vid öppna spisen. Hotellets läge högt uppe i Kastraki innebar en fridsam tystnad och frisk luft. Vi återvänder gärna till Doupiani House.

Beautiful view of Meteora Rock formations; well-marked and easy to find. The large room slept four adults comfortably. Friendly, family run and jovial folks. Highly recommend the taverna nearby ( down the driveway and hang a left across from tourist trap campground) lovely mom and pop business and killer souvlaki.

Wifi was free but did not operate outside the main common areas. Common problem amongst many guests on the evening.

This hotel inspires serenity. The owners are friendly and attentive. The views outside are breathtaking whilst inside the furnishings are of superior quality. My regret is that we only had one night here.

Interestingly given the decor is beautiful, the bed was way too hard. I enjoy a firm bed but the bed was unusually hard. Having said this, I would easily overlook this to have the experience of another stay at Hotel Doupani.

Beautiful hotel. We were offered an upgrade for 5 Euros a night, which gave us a lovely room with a balcony and a "panoramic" view of Meteora. Breakfast was excellent. Of all the hotels we stayed at, this was the only one that could be described as busy, a testimony to its efficient management.

No shower curtain. Otherwise, nothing.

This was an absolutely amazing place to stay and the owners were so helpful and friendly !! View was amazing, close to monasteries, a great place to spend a few days exploring the area.

Location was fantasic.The garden, looking at the Meteora panorama was a beautiful experience. We could have sat there all day and soaked in the scenery and serenity of Meteora. The service and hospitality of the hosts was impeccable. The photos are true.

It was a beautiful hotel at thr base of Meteora. The hosts were lovely and accomodating. The breakfast provided was excellent. Very peaceful night at Hotel Doupiani!

Fantastic accommodation, at the foot of Meteora with wonderful views from our room and from the outdoor alfresco breakfast experience. Fantastic decor. The owners were extremely helpful and gave our little boy a toy pussy cat as a gift.

Great location and superb view to Meteora.

Didn't let us take a bath, only shower. Said there is not enough water... Poor breakfast. Very noisy. Heard everything going on in the next room and in the corridor.

Far surpassed our expectations!!Friendly family run establishment,spotlessly clean,spacious rooms,with the most breathtaking views of the monasteries!Breakfast includes hot and cold selections with a choice of inside or outside terrace dining.The front lobby is gorgeous with a lovely bar/ sitting area.The building alone is a work of art with an air of appreciated respect for everyone's quiet and enjoyment.Truly a gem and a stones throw drive to one of the worlds greatest adventures -the monasteries!Wouldn't stay anywhere else!!

Very comfortable and well equipped room. Consistent British country style and I would like to return in Winter to see the open fire in the lobby function. Clean and well functioning bathroom. On the other hand, in good weather you can have your breakfast on the lovely terrace. Great view. Very friendly and attentive owners. Beautiful garden. Great place to enjoy peace and quiet. We preferred Kastraki over more urban Kalambaka.

The beds are on the hard side. Should this bother you, I am sure the owners will be happy to provide you with an extra pillow to mitigate any possible discomfort. We simply did not ask. Internet in our room was relatively weak, but more than enough to do the essentials to send and receive e-mails and browse the Internet.

Very good position with the best view on Meteora rocks. Excellent conditions, very nice, clean, nice furniture in the rooms and in they hall. Owners very friendly and nice. Good breakfast. To come back anytime.

The location - perfectly located for an easy walk up to the monasteries. Great view of Kastraki and the valley. The hotel itself had a GREAT breakfast and the room was very comfortable.

The hotel was a bit dark, but that was due to energy savings.

We found the hotel excellent ,good position.Interesting trip but ask the owner where to have dinner.

Dinner our 1st evening in the village was not good.
