Economy Hotel  

It's centrally located, simple, clean and budget friendly hotel. In a walking distance to the main city attractions, Monastiraki/Omonia metro stations, main shopping streets and eating places. There is a fruit market just around the corner. Staff is wonderful (very helpful). Big thanks to Yannis and Dimitrious for all valuable advices and nice chats! It made my stay even more pleasant.

I loved the price and the location. I had a list of places I wanted to visit and the majority of them were walking distance plus the metro and tram were nearby also. My room was cleaned everyday and the staff were so helpful in directions and advice.

My only problem was that my internet in my room was working on and off. Most evenings I had to go down to the lobby for the internet to work.

A bit far from the sights if you are planning to do all by foot.

The hotel is excellent value for money if you get a reduced rate. It is not luxurious, but has everything that you need if you are on a budget. Fridge, air con, TV, bathroom and decent breakfast included in the price of the room. The location is good, not far from Omonia Square, but in a reasonable area. Hotel staff are very friendly, and extremely helpful

Lovely clean hotel close to metro links to airport. Really friendly staff. Man on reception provided us with map of city and advised us of all local attractions, prices opening hours. He was a fountain of information.

Lack of swimming pool

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to many attractions and metro station. Breakfast was very good. I would stay here again.

Hot water pressure on the top floor could be better.

The entire staff and especially the people at the reception (all of them!) are very friendly, very helpful and do an excellent job in making the customers happy. The breakfast is excellent. The newly installed air conditioners in the rooms make the stay even more pleasant. Also the location is improved quite a lot and is much safer. I personally had never really problems in that area, even when there was not as yet so much police control as nowadays. Only the public pc, though quite new, not functioning properly. (Date and time were incorrect). The management promised to have a look at this. Probably the browser must be changed and/or java software should be installed. I would have preferred a larger and more modern tv, but for the room price you can't have all luxury..

As the location was central and easy access to the Athens' historical sites, the surrounding of the hotel is not very clean and enjoyable.

Very friendly and helpful staff, specially in the day time, giving a lot of indications about the city (not so much at night). The room is not big, austere, but still it offers two armchairs and two benches for our suitcases, and this was very comfortable. The environment is noisy but the double glazing and shutter were very efficient. As for noise inside the hotel, we have no opinion, as it was nearly empty the night we spent there (terrible tourist season this year, foreigners avoid Greece). Complete breakfast with tasty bread, though ordinary orange juice. The district is popular, dirty and noisy, but we felt quite secure, and it is a good complement to the touristic parts of Athens. In brief, good value for your money !

The terrasse on the roof, which made us choose this hotel, is locked and not accessible, which has been quite a deception. You have to pay for the wifi connection (only time we have seen that during our journey).

It's a good hotel, with good price.

I don't agree to pay extra by wi-fi services. But this is my opinion about any hotel around the word... The prices must to include this service.

Las instalaciones, habitaciones, bano, amplias, muy confortables, con frigobar, TV, aire acondicionado. El desayuno muy bueno, variado, con cereales, repitiendo tantas veces como uno quiera, frutas etc. El personal, Jania(Juan), Christos y Dimitrio, todos muy atentos a las necesidades, asesorando,tratando de entender nuestro mal ingles. Se ocuparon de llamar al taxi, y nos entregaron a las 04,30 hs. un desayuno en vianda para llevar, lo que no es habitual. La ubicacion del hotel tambien muy buena. Muy conformes, incluso el hecho de estar solo 2 noches, no pprodujo diferencias en la atencion del personal. Excelente todo

Clean comfortable room with a firm mattress and good linen. Breakfast was good. Rooftop view of all of Athens.

Staff friendly, efficient and speak good English. The hotel is within walking distance of the tourist area of Athens and Monastiraki metro station with direct train service to the airport, its an 8 euro taxi ride to the ktel coach stations which link up with the rest of Greece. Both bedroom and bathroom spotlessly clean, tv has bbc World News and a German channel in addition to the Greek language channels.

For the price it is a very good and clean hotel. Don't expect any luxury. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I plan to stay there again during my next 5-day trip to Athens in October 2012.

The public pc is free of charge, however, it unfortunately didn't work well. Tv is old fashioned and there are no international channels and there is no teletext.

The location the hotel is in walking distance from Plaka, the Acropolis and Monastiraki Square where you take the metro direct to the airport. The room was clean and quiet. Staff was helpful, the breakfast was nice and included into the room rate. Unfortunately they do not have fruits, but the local market is only 1 block away where you can buy cheap and fresh fruits every day.
