El Greco Resort    

The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful except their Head manager who has major attitude while talking with the guests.

This hotel does not give a feel that you are in Santorini as there are no views from the hotel rooms. It looks like a resort in any other holiday destination with a number of swimming pools and restaurants.

El Greco was great, a few minutes walk from the main town of Fira, we were able to walk to town each day for shopping, sight seeing and meals. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were planning to stay only 3 nights but ended up staying for 8 nights. The resort is beautiful with several pools to lay by each day. We wanted to treat ourselves to a spa day and the hotel were more than happy to arrange this. Breakfast each day was buffet and delicious. We would recommend this to anyone visiting Santorini.

I found it much too large and very westernised, I went to another country to experience the country but found this hotel could be anywhere in the world.

A very warm welcome by the front office who made every effort to meet all our needs. The Resort itself is lovely - clean, beautiful pools and good breakfast. The rooms were spacious and all great access to the pools. The staff were responsive...when we asked to be closer to our friends, we were moved immediately.

There wasn't anything I didn't like about El Greco. It is obviously still under renovation in some areas but everything met our needs.

The location was gorgeous, the resort itself was stunning and the staff were wonderful.

It was a real shame that transfers from the port/airport were not complimentary. We have stayed in Santorini many times and have always received complimentary transfers from much less expensive hotels. El Greco charges 12 Euros per person which seems a little steep when you can get a taxi for a group for around 15 Euros.

The swimming pools are fantastic and the layout of the resort is beautiful. We loved the fact that it is a short (15 min) level walk into Fira. The room was very spacious with a lovely outlook. We would definitely stay again and but for a couple of issues mentioned below, this hotel is easily a 10/10.

El Greco could have rated 10/10 but for two issues. On one day we did not have towels in our room until my husband asked for the second time at reception late in the evening. There was an issue with washing and drying the towels that day. It would have been better to leave us with our towels from the previous day than to leave us with none from cleaning time until late at night. On the good side, the pool towels supplied by the reception were of the best quality I had ever seen in a hotel. The worst issue is with the pool chairs. There is such a shortage around the 4 main swimming pools that you had to be out there at first light ( I think some people went out in the dark!). After missing out for 2 days, I went out at 7am to find every single sunlounger being reserved with a towel! A definite need for more sunlounges and umbrellas, and such an easy thing for management to fix!

The resturant was excellent for breakfast but lacked atmosphere in the evenings, although this was somewhat irrelevant as there are many excellent resturants only 10-15 minutes walk away in Fira

Se trata de un complejo ubicado en las afueras de la ciudad. Tiene piscinas por todos lados.

La limpieza es mala. El desayuno muy caotico y muchisima gente. No hay utensillos de cocina.

Me gusto mucho la ubicación, la decoración, la ubicación de las albercas.

Las instalciones, en particular las piletas. Las habitaciones son amplias, comodas, bien equipadas y con balcon privado.

Muy buena ubicacion e instalaciones. Personal de primera.

El desayuno no era bueno.

το πρωινό τελειώνει στις 10.00 και δεν το προλαβαίνει κάποιος που παει στην σαντορίνη για να διασκεδάσει. μετα το πρωινο για να φας κάτι έστω και με χρέωση πρέπει να περιμένεις μέχρι της 12.00. επειδή οι αποστάσεις είναι πολυ μεγάλες το room service χρεώνει 2€ για κάθε αποστολή

The staff were very friendly and helpful, accomodation good for price. The location suited us and we were a five minute walk from Fira town with lots of choice to eat in evenings. We went to Fira as family had chosen to stay there. There were buses to the beach which was 20 minutes away.

The place was fairly clean.

It has no personality, no interesting view, and location is undesirable. You have to drive or walk 20 minutes to get anywhere you actually want to be. It's not a place you actually want to hangout, just good for sleeping.

Accessible,a lot of space.Nice overall .Easy to manage around.

One snack kitchen only .No possibility to order expresso coffee at breakfeast.

Every member of staff I spoke to was extremely friendly, obliging and helpful. Very laid back, very relaxing.

οι πετσετες ετυχε να μην ειναι καθαρες. και καποιοσ ανοιξε την πορτα η ωρα 1 τα ξημερωματα γιατι ειχε το μαστερ κλειδι και δεν το ηξεραν οτι του το εδωσαν κατα λαθος.

After travelling around europe for 5 weeks this was our final and most disappointing accommodation booked. Our room was not made up every day despite this being a "4 star" hotel. The value for money was appalling and would I not choose to stay at El Greco again.

Sa situation a l entree de thira. Son style cycladien et la propreté des lieux.

L hotel est tres bruyant. Petits dejeuners corrects. Sans plus. Au vu du tarif des chambres on espere mieux.

The hotel is amazing, clean and with 3 large pools. It is typically greek looking and the rooms quite large.

Reception were slightly unfriendly bordering on arrogant especially if something wasn't going to plan as happened with us. However, they were knowledgeable on the area and great at booking 4 wheelers. They were also quite good at responding to emails in the lead up to staying.

Accueil chaleureux et personnel très professionel . Beaux espaces, plusieurs piscines et donc pas l'impression de foule . Chambre spacieuse et calme .
