El Greco Hotel  

This is the fourth time we have stayed at El Greco and there is nothing not to like. It's in a great position, the staff are friendly, the rooms comfortable and the breakfast is very good.

The staff were really nice and the breakfast was great. The view from the top floor terrace was amazing!

My room was on the fourth floor but the elevator only goes to the third. It was impossible to get my suitcase up the stairs on my own and difficult to find anyone to help at 9.00pm,

Good location in old town. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Reasonable value for money.

Room was not impressive, and window looked straight out at the town wall, one metre away, so rather dim.

Good location close to the centre of town, clean and comfortable.

Could not seem to get connected to their wifi but it was not important and the city is buzzing with wifi opportunities.

Beds were a bit firm.

We have stayed there before and the hotel is ideally located, near the car park and on a friendly street with nice restaurants and shops close by. We had a roof top room which had a large balcomy overlooking the old town, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the scenery.

We enjoyed the hotel and have nothing negative to say.

Perfect location.

The shower is extremely small and breakfast is very poor for its charge.

we booked the Hotel for One Night in July 2012. the staff was very friendly and helpful! the room was very clean and everything was ok! it had a small bathroom and the furniture was very simple, but we didn't expect a luxury room for 40 euros/room. in comparision, this Hotel is great for a short stay, but i wouldnt spend my whole vacations there.

It was friendly, efficient, reasonable, with a good location for the old part of Chania. The room 402 we occupied was on the roof with a large balcony overlooking the harbour and town. It was a wonderful stay.

We were not aware there were two rooms - ie 402 and 403 and were not expecting to be sharing the roof terrace. As it was we had a young Greek couple who were very pleasant,quiet, and did not smoke too much. The TV reception was poor - we were not bothered but some might be.

Nice room on roof terrace with execellent view.

Närhet till mysiga rest. Pittoresk och mysig omgivning. Mycket trevligt bemötande.

Utlovad luftkonditionering fungerade ej på hela veckan.

Accueil sympathique et tarifs corrects.

Trop de disparité entre présentation internet et réalité:chambres pas propres,( serviettes non changées ),TV minuscule,fenêtre s'ouvrant sur un BLOC MURAL "trempé", "balcon" glissant et rebutant. Rez.chaussée loin des 3 étoiles. Impression globale: très décevant. Nous ne recommandons pas cet hôtel.

Intimt og trivelig lite hotell med god plassering i spennende omgivelser i Chania. Kort gangavstand til havnen og sentrum, men likevel utenfor det verste nattebråket.

Vanskelig å finne parkering.

Sauber, was man für 1 Nacht graucht, war da; Frühstück passabel.

Vielleicht etwas laut (Straße)

Strategisch günstig,Innenstadt und doch Strandnähe (15 Min. Gehlänge,Hafennähe, relativ ruhig, wenn das Zimmer zur histor. Mauer liegt, aber da halt ausser Mauer keine Aussicht eine eher Einheimischen Strasse, also nicht nur Touristen, hilfsbereites Personal, nette Kaffees und kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten Frühstücksbuffet recht ordentlich. Aufzug vorhanden !

Das Zimmer war klein, der Nassbereich (Dusche und WC nur für klein gebaute Touristen ohne körperl. Probleme benützbar. Schätzungsweise 1.50 Quadratmeter groß, ein winziges Dusch und Handwaschbecken, defekte, verrostete Armaturen. Die Matratze müsste ausgewechselt werden, ich kam mir darauf vor wie auf einem gerodeten Maccia Boden.

Vor allem die Lage u.die grosse Terrasse im obersten Stock! Und es war ruhig obwohl es sehr zentral liegt-

Piccolo albergo molto carino nel pieno centro pedonale della città di Chania, ad un passo quindi da negozi e taverne caratteristiche, staff gentile e disponibile a risolvere ogni piccolo problema, ottima organizzazione per eventuali richieste di escursioni sull'isola.

Si nota che l'hotel è curato e ristrutturato da non molto tempo..quindi tutto bene anche se magari ci sono due o tre stanze situate al piano terra e primo nella parte piu vecchia che sono piuttosto piccole e con un terrazzo vista muro con poca aria che possa circolare.

Ottima la sua posizione al centro dei borghi suggestivi ed affascinanti di Cania.

Faceva molto caldo in camera,ma si ovviava con il climatizzatore.

Ottima posizione.

Le camere erano in cima a una scaletta a chiocciola in metallo difficilmente percorribile soprattutto con i bagagli.

Hôtel bien situé, calme, avec réellement une vue sur la mer, comme annoncé.
