A very nice Pension for travelers seeking the "Greek" experience. The rooms are fantastic, clean and comes with a very nice balcony. It is also very close to the beach and the ferries, easy to find. There should be blinds, or at least better cover for the morning sun because it get very bright in the room early in the morning.

John gave us a warm welcome at the Electra and nothing was too much trouble during our stay there. He gave us an excellent summary of sites and places of interests and recommended fabulous tavernas. The room was extremely clean and towels and sheets changed during our stay there. We will definitely be returning.

Yannis the owner has so much passion about the place, it is imaculate at all times and if theres anything you need he will arrange quite happily with no fuss. We have stayed on the island many times before but this time we took my parents as it was their 50th wedding aniversary so we wanted somewhere special and the Electra Pension ticked all the boxes. The location is superb and is only a few minutes walk from the port but without the noise of traffic so if you enjoy an afternoon nap you wont be disturbed. Thank you Yannis for making our stay perfect, we will be back soon.

It came welll recommended and it met all our expectations - John the owner was fantastic and extremely helpful. The room was clean, had a nice balcony, a clean bathroom, internet was free and worked and there was a small flat screen tv. Located near all the best restaurants but was also quiet. Great place to stay - thanks! Nothing. Price was great too.

Electra is spotlessly clean and is maintained that way by daily cleaning staff. The owner goes out of his way to cater to his clients. I was astonished to see him waiting the arrival of the ferry boat, with his car to take me to the hotel, even though it may be maximum 5 minutes to walk. This is exceptional service.

The Electra Pension is conveniently located about 2-3 bloocks from the shops and restaurants in Aegina. Our room was quaint and very clean. The owner, John, gave us an overview of things to do and places to go and made sure we had everything we needed. TV channels were limited. There was no phone in the room, so if you needed contact the owner, you had to knock on his door. The majority of the shops and establishments, including the Electa Pension do not accept credit cards, so be prepared to pay with cash.

Iannis made us very welcome from the start, meeting us at the Flying Dolphin pier and walking us the 5minutes to the Pension. A quiet location but near enough to the bustle of the harbour, bars and tavernas. A really charming house; decorated in the Greek colours of blue and white, with 8 separate en-suite rooms some with balconies. Iannis was very attentive at all times, advising on tavernas to visit (all good choices) a really excellent, polite and considerate host.

Very relaxing 3 night break.Comfortable beds with spotless linen. Silent air conditioning. Very clean bathroom but check below about the sink. Sink in the bathroom had been partially painted with gloss white paint which was peeling off. Bit strange considering the good condition of the rest of the bathroom.

The owner was warm, friendly, and went out of his way to be helpful - taking us to places, sharing information, lending electrical adapters etc. The pension is a charming little place, in a quiet location, but near the town's facilities and beach.

It is easy to reach (using the map here) near the port and the center of town, and situated in a quiet area. Very friendly atmosphere and the rooms are very nice, neat and very clean. The room was cleaned every day and there was also a small refrigerator. The owner is very nice and precise and made us feel at home. We loved the island and despite the fact that it is so close to Athens it isn't so touristy like the better known islands. I recommend it to everyone, and I hope to go back there soon. Thank you John!!!

Owner make you feel very welcome, provides you with a map of the area and offers suggestions of things to do, where to eat etc. great location, far enough away from main road bar noise but handy to everything including bus station and port. I would stay there again.

We liked everything!! The location was ideal, and the owner was incredibly nice and thoughtful - he even sat down with us and gave us great advice on where to go and what to see based on what we said we wanted to do. Everything worked as promised - hot water, wi-fi, mini- fridge... Our room was pretty comfortable, too. Honestly, there's not much to say against this place... I would have liked another pillow, but I'm sure the owner would have gotten it for me if I had asked :) And despite the map, we had minor difficulties finding the place. But it's a small town, so anyone you find on the street will know where it is, and we are also directionally-challenged.

This was a gem of a find and the perfect relaxation point after having been on the European holiday circuit for six weeks. The room was spotlessly clean and modern and our unit had a balcony with a view of the port in the distance. The building was also very well maintained with its white washed walls and blue trim. It was just beautiful. John was the perfect host even provided us with an umbrella in case it rained. It was a very short walkable distance from the ferry and all the cafes are virtually on the doorstep. We loved the island itself and despite the fact that it is so close to Athens it was not touristy like the better known ones. We will return and spend more time here without any hesitation at all. The upstairs unit is the way to go.

Owner extremely helpful and always around to help and answer questions. Nothing was too much trouble. Was picked up at the ferry and certainly didn't expect that! Didn't mind carrying my luggage up the stairs either which was a welcome relief and the first time anyone did that for me in two weeks. Room was bright, airy and well decorated. Loved the nice soft quilt. All around a lovely experience. When you are used to pillow top mattresses, everything seems hard and Greek mattresses seem to be hard and harder. This one wasn't too bad though and some people might like that. It's an epic fail with the pillows everywhere so don't let that stop you. If you don't like steep steps just ask for a room downstairs. As far as the hotel itself, loved it and would certainly recommend it without question.
