The main benefit of the hotel is that it is a very good quality hotel in a very convenient central location for exploring Athens city centre. It is ideally situated for the Plaka and Monastiraki areas for shopping and restaurants, which are all within easy walking distance. The roof top garden/swimming pool/restaurant area has great views of the Acropolis. The bedroom and bathroom we had was rather smaller than we expected for a 5 star hotel, and not in keeping with the 5 star facilities of the common areas of the hotel. |

Great location in the Plaka, many restaurants and shopping right out the hotel doors. Safe neighborhood. Good breakfast buffet included in the price of the room, and the staff was very helpful. The room was a bit small for a family. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. |

Comfortable hotel, conveniently located in the heart of the Plaka, near the Acropolis and Plaka shops and tavernas. Nice rooftop pool and bar with view of Acropolis. Pleasant garden area in which to enjoy the very good buffet breakfast. This is an expensive hotel. Thus it was galling to be charged extra to use their internet services (other much cheaper hotels which we stayed in during our trip provided free internet). We had booked a superior room with Acropolis view yet the first room we were given only had an Acropolis view if you looked sideways out of the window. |

The rooms were very nice - I was in the new wing, and everything was well appointed. Also, the hotel was well furnished and very generous. They staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant on the roof was AMAZING!!!. The location was perfect and convenient. Best value for money - in the location - with luxury and comfort. |

Exellent location, wonderful view of the Acropolis. Nice lobby and breakfast restaurant. Competent staff. Nice to have a good local, genuine taverna around the corner. The wall-to-wall carpet in our room was in the need of a cleaning. Sometimes we could feel cigarett smoke and smell of food preparation in our room - is the fresh air intake in the right place?? |

It has the ultimate room with a view, The acropolis is right outside your window/balcony. Wonderful room, food, and staff. I asked the hotel to arrange a taxi for me at the airport as I was a lone female traveller and arrived 3.50am. They informed me that the taxi would be 90euros. Later I discovered the fixed rate for transfer to hotels by the offical yellow taxis even at night was only 45euros. I felt ripped off. The city was safe and just getting a taxi outside the airport would have been OK and cheaper |
