View of the Restaurant Pool Location
Huge bathroom, small bedroom
the location is perfect
the breakfast is too simple, and our rooms were without balcony, the swimming poor is too small
Everything except two things which i will write in the next box
1. the pool closes at 7! Honestly, this was a disappointment. No matter what the reasons behind that are, I think you should allow people to come back from their day trip and enjoy a nice evening by the pool facing the acropolis. This is one of the strong points about the hotel! 2. The wifi system first of all was only free in the lobby. it should be free everywhere as it is in all places in the world especially in hotels of this caliber. I should also say that the wifi system was not working properly as well ( even when you have paid for this service). it had a tendency to go and come back. This needs some attention.
Location is excellent, front desk staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast very good
The location was wonderful: quiet side street, easy to walk to sites, leafy garden where you could eat breakfast and lunch. We loved our room's balcony. The rooftop restaurant was excellent--our best meal in Athens with an incredible view of the Parthanon. And a cool dip in the rooftop pool was perfect after a morning sweltering on the Acropolis. The staff was helpful. The bathrooms were very nice.
Rooms were a little small and cramped
Breakfast was excellent, service and staff were excellent.
The smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor on the 7th floor.
Amazingly friendly staff, fantastic location definetly coming back!!
Nothing everything was excellent
no free wifi in the room
Rooftop bar and restaurant excellent. Breakfast very good selection and a beautiful reception area. Fantastic views from pool and rooftop. Close to everything. A lovely hotel. Friendly staff.
Room too small and bathroom very small and cramped. We had to put suitcases on chairs,so we had nowhere to sit. Expensive for a room of its size.
Very central. Lovely pool - quite an experience swimming with the Parthenon in view!
Fantastic service, the best facilities, so close to all venues. If you really want to treat your self to a fantastic holiday this is the hotel. Oh by the way the views of acropolis are the best in Athens.
Location was fantastic, staff were very friendly & professional, roof-top pool & bar with fantastic view of the Acropolis. Especially enjoyed having breakfast in the courtyard garden, the buffet was of a high standard.
Late at night we had noise coming from balconies above where people were constantly moving chairs. The concierge George was very proficient in arranging a change of room for the following night.
The location was perfect to get around to numerous sights. The staff & hotel itself were excellent! The hotel served up perfectly for our demands & everyone at the hotel made sure it was a memorable vacation!
The view towards the Acropoles from the restaurant terrace - breathtaking! Location, location, location - so close to all the interesting landmarks! The welcoming was nice, including the offered fruits and drinks in the room! Great touch of the hotel`s manager!
The waiters have not been very serviable. At breakfast, for example, one of them literaly threw the cuttlery on the table and arranged it only when requested to do so. At rush hour for breakfast the service is extremely poor and the waiters look unhappy. Despite the obvious attention paid to the fittings, the hotel still seems old (at least old fashion). The restaurant food has only the pretention of high class - it is not as tasty as it should be under a label of "gourmet".
It was an elegant hotel. Very clean. The rooms were very nice.
Outside of the rooms the hallways were really hot. I also felt it was cheap that the wifi was not included with the cost of the hotel. You also had to constantly log back on if you walked out of the hotel. Even the computers located next to the front desk had to have codes entered to use them. This was really the only drawback to this hotel.
The swimming pool on the roof was very nice, with a view to Acropolis. Centrally located, close to everything worth visiting in Athens.
Cleaning staff entered our room at 8 and 9 o'clock without even knocking two times in a row. Shouldn't happen in a 5-star hotel! Standard double room was average and not worth the price, in our opinion. But maybe that's the best Athens has got.
Rooms very small
Great location Friendly staff Great views Nice pool
Small room Lots of children
We stayed 2 nights at Electra Palace Hotel. Our rooms overlooked the lovely garden where breakfast was served. The best thing about this hotel was its location. We were close to all major attractions by foot. Breakfast was very good and having it in the garden in the middle of Athens was heaven! We had dinner in the roof restaurant overlooking the acropolis, we highly recommend it! The view was superbe. The hotel arranged a guided tour to the acropolis and museum for us and that was excellent too. We would definitely return to this hotel!
The staff and and buffet food was first class!!!
Reception service was exemplary
Excellent location in the Plaka very close to the Acropolis. The hotel is beautifully designed and has a lovely garden area where you can eat breakfast. The staff on the front desk are especially helpful - amongst other things they recommended a really great, local restaurant for us to eat in (and made a booking for us). A pleasure to stay in.
Beware taking a swim in the indoor pool especially if you have children with you. We found the staff member there very unwelcoming- she complained about there being water on the floor (there IS a pool there) and made us quite uncomfortable. A pity as the other staff at the hotel were wonderful.
Location was fantastic The swimming pool was awesome The rooms are clean, modern and spacious. Breakfast had everything and more!, Roof top restaurant was amazing, beautiful view of the acropolis and out of this world food.
Lovely hotel, rooms and breakfast excellent, staff helpful. Pool very busy and often difficult to grab a sunbed but plenty of floor space and the roof top bar had seating which you could use for the pool, however the stunning view of the acropolis made any discomforts caused by not being able to have a sunbed fade into insignificance, GLORIOUS!
The roof top is extraordinary A small but nice swimming pool at the terass A very friendly barman ... Next time I will book a room with a view to Acropolis ... Breakfast is great Come early to have room in the patio where you don ´t feel like being in the center of a big city !!
