Het hotel ligt op loopafstand van (bijna) alle bezienswaardigheden.Ondanks de ligging in de Plaka heb je er geen last van de drukte van een grote stad als Athene.Na een vermoeiende dag kun je in het hotel heerlijk bijkomen in het zwembad of op het dakterras met uitzicht op de Akropolis. |

centrale ligging in Plaka zodat alles te voet te doen was. mooi zwembad en restaurant /terras en redelijk goed ontbijtbuffet het derde bed voor de drie persoons kamer was een sofa die veel te kort was voor de lengte van een jongeman van vandaag. Dit was ronduit NIET goed |

Hotel licht in het centrum van athene Hotel is in werkelijkheid anders als op de website, het hotel is oud en de kamers zijn heel klein. |

De ligging, de hal en het zwembad, Heel goed ontbijt De bedden w aren heel slecht. Boxspring en heel hard. Dat is het probleem niet. Maar de spiralen waren gewoon pijnlijk om op te liggen. Heb op een gegeven moment een dubbelgevouwen sprei onder het onderlaken gedaan. Er waren meer gasten die daar last van hadden. Zo'n prachtig hotel en zulke slechte bedden. ook het dek..deken was te iel. Steeds een sprei nodig voor de kou en die gleed er dan weer |

Hotel is very conveniently located for walking to major archelogical sites, restaurants within the plaka and shopping. The room we had had fabulous views of the acropolis from the balcony. Can be difficult for buses to access, therefore a walk was required to if doing tours. This is not difficult, just a point to note particularly if you have luggage. |

The hotel was beautiful and very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The view from our balcony was comparable - what joy sitting on a cool marble terrace on a warm Athens evening, looking up at the Acropolis. The buffet breakfast was delicious and varied. Yes - that I had to spend waaaay too many hours on a plane getting there! This, of course, is no fault of the Electra Palace. Just wish it were closer so that we might be able to go again soon. |

Entrance and dining rooms have a good ambience. Meals good, times flexible. Our room 508 had only one easy chair, which made it less comfortable for us to relax in. |

We have experienced many hotels all over the world and this has to be one of the best hotels so far. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Our room was spotlessly clean and serviced daily. We had a superior Acropolis view room with a balcony which was perfect. The food in the hotel was excellent. The choice at breakfast was very good also. We will be returning to this hotel next time we visit Athens. |

I stay about 3 times a year and find the hotel comfortable and the staff excellent. I also like the fact it isnot "just another standardised international hotel". |

Location in the city and helpful staff Wsa ttold that my Credit card was nt accepted and resevations canceled but, the non functioning card machine was not working. Desk Manager tried anther Machines and My card was ok. Embrassing ,But Maybe you should have informed me before I arrived or remind registration staff to try another machines to confrim if you were incorrect. |

I liked the location at the center of Plaka, facing the Acropolis and the Partenon, it was impressive. It was also close to the restaurants area.The hotel garden is also beautiful. I found the room a bit small for the prize |
