There are plenty of entertainment possibilities in the city with the various restaurants, bars, cafés and nightclubs. During the summer season, drama groups and theatres put on performances. Those wishing to experience more of the nature of the area can travel to the beautiful districts on Mount Taygetus.
Kalamata Castle is definitely worth the visit, with its stunning panoramic views of the historical centre. The marina in the western part of town is also worthy of a visit, as is the open-air railway museum. There are many beaches in the Messinia district, at the Ionio and Messiniako bay.

Very efficient & friendly staff. A gorgeous roof top bar and pool area. It is handy for walking out and visiting the sea front cafes and marina area. The room was very well equipped and extremely comfortable. One of the best beds I have slept on in Greece, very comfortable. Its location against the main harbour basin makes it ideal for walking out to the local cafes and marina but it does mean you have to walk further to get to the start of their beach area. I would recommend this for short stays but not for families as it has more of an adult feel to the hotel. |

Everything, except the way the spa was run. It says Elektra hotel & Spa. We ask: Is the Spa a business itself? When a hotel in Norway has a jacuzzi, the guests can use it for free. It's in the price. At Elektra you must pay € 25 pr. person pr. 20 minutes!! You can have a double room at many of Booking.com's hotels for that price. First of all, this is not good. Secondly; the hotel must not say Hotel & Spa.This is a hotel + a Spa business! |

Ενα σωστό ξενοδοχείο στη σύλληψη και εφαρμογή με άνετους χώρους δωματείων, σωστή λειτουργικότητα, άριστη μόνωση (σπάνιο φαινόμενο σε πολλά ξενοδοχεία). Καλό εστιατόριο με άριστη σχέση υπηρεσιών/κόστους όμως με υστέρηση στις υπηρεσίες του προσωπικού του. Εγρήγορση στις υπηρεσίες του προσωπικού του εστιατορίου. |

Το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου είναι φιλικό και εξυπηρετικό. Επίσης το πρωινό είναι πολύ καλό. Το χώρο της πισίνας. Η πισίνα είναι στην ταράτσα του ξενοδοχείου όπου είναι και το εστιατόριο. Γύρω από την πισίνα, ακόμα και την ημέρα, είναι τα τραπέζια του εστιατορίου και έτσι δεν υπάρχει χώρος για ξαπλώστρες, ώστε να μπορεί κανείς να κάνει μπάνιο εκεί. Θεωρώ ότι σε αυτή την τιμή δωματίου θα έπρεπε να μπορούμε να αξιοποιήσουμε την πισίνα και κάποιες εγκαταστάσεις spa του ξενοδοχείου. |

Ett mycket trevligt hotell centralt beläget med närhet till både strand och stad. Extremt trevlig takterass som passar både för bad på dagen och en god drink på kvällen. Mycket god och fin frukost. Gymet var trångt med dålig lufttillförsel. |

Närheten till Medelhavet och kommunikationsmedel som buss och tåg. Även att personalen i receptionen hjälpte till med att ordna transporter till sedvärdheter. Personalen hade ett vänligt och trevligt bemötande. |

Παρα πολυ καλό ξενοδοχείο. Πολυ ανώτερο σε παροχες απο την κατηγορία του. Το προσωπικο εξυπηρετικότατο. Το πρωινο υπερ πλουσιο, πολυ καλυτερο απο αλλα ανωτερης κατηγοριας σε Ελλαδα & εξωτερικό. Σε σωστή θεση στην πόλη, πολυ κοντα στο κέντρο, αλλα και με ησυχία. Η δε τιμή του πολυ λογική οπως λογικές ηταν και οι τιμες στο εστιατόριο και στο μπαρ. Συνδιάζει πισινα και Spa στο χώρο του. Πολυ βολικο το δωρεάν ασυρματο Internet. Σωστη θρεμοκρασια με τον ρυθμιζόμενο κλιματισμό στο δωμάτιο. |

prachtig ingericht hotel. Schone, zeer ruime kamer. groot balkon. ligt in armoedige buurt. Door fout bij receptie kwam er 's-nachts iemand onze kamer in. Klacht hierover werd slecht en nogal dommig afgehandeld. |

Πρώτον, το γεγονός ότι οι φωτογραφίες στο διαδίκτυο καταδείκνυαν και την πραγματικότητα και κατά δεύτερον, ήταν ένα αρκετά άνετο (ειδικά όσον αφορά τα κρεββάτια του) ξενοδοχείο με ευχάριστη ατμόσφαιρα σε όλους τους χώρους που επισκέφτηκα Την ακόμα καλύτερη σύνδεση στο διαδίκτυο ίσως, καθώς και τις ώρες προσέλευσης/αποχώρησης. |

Nous avons apprécié le confort de la chambre et des équipements qui pour une étape dans un voyage touristique étaient luxueux la chambre n'étant cependant pas vraiment grande. Petit déjeuner extraordinairement varié et complet Accueil en grec (pas d'anglais) Tous les services spa sont payants. L'hôtel est situé le long du vieux port une très belle vue au loin mais décevante devant l'hôtel et la marina moderne vide en cette saison. L'hôtel ne correspondait pas à notre attente. Du luxe sans charme. |
