Eleonas Hotel  

The location of the appartment-hotel in Ialissos in the middle of an urban area, some 600m away from the very noisy main street, is a perfect place to enjoy quiet nights and from where to start visiting the island historic places like Rodos town, Lindos etc. The 2 room appartement offered plenty of space and even 4 extra beds. The swimming pool is superb of size and depth (2.80m) even adult people can have a good dive! For children (not babies) there is a perfect adjacent pool. The hotel staff is most friendly and willing to help in all circumstances.

The infrastructure in the rooms and outside in the compound are very obsolete and needs urgent maintenance and/or renewal. The swimming pool bottom (not the water), sunbeds, showers etc. were dirty. There is kitchenette or kitchen as advertised but these are so outdated it would be better not to mansion. There was complete lack of cooking pots (1 only) and only one frieing pan. No kitchen cooking tools, lack of cutlery and glasses , plates etc. There were signs (excreta) of cockoaches being resident in the rooms.... The owner has although made plans to renewal the infrastructure (started it in room 24) and when these plans will be executed and the rooms kept clean it will be a great place to be and I like to go back to see myself and recommend to others!!!

The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodated us because we had a large group of people traveling with us. The rooms and the pool were clean, it was very quiet where we were and great place for families. The rooms are fairly basic but they were very large with several beds, air-conditioning, stove and refrigerator.

It is a bit off the beaten path, and we were happy to have rented a car - which made exploring the island very easy. The buildings and rooms are a bit outdated, and the grounds, although well kept, are not perfectly manicured. The stovetop worked but did not get very hot and wouldn't be suitable for cooking meals.

The staff in the hotel are extremely nice: both Tony and the old woman who serves breakfast dinner. You can ask them all the tips you want and they will gladly give them to you. For example, they told us about a fish market in the main street (about 10 min walk from hotel) where we could buy fresh fish and cook it in our room. The young guy were also extremely nice and they told us which days the fresh fish arrives so we could get the good ones. The hotel furniture is a little outdated, but getting an apartment with 4 beds, kitchen and bathroom for 50 Euros a night is pretty good ! Do not forget the old woman to cook you for dinner Moussaka. She charges only 5 euros per person and it is delicious ! much much better than what you can get in any restaurant in the street.

Very friendly employees. Good to stay for relax in the swimming pool area. I liked the food the friendly lady made. Good return for the price. Available parking space. Minor problem not because of the hotel: difficult to find the place so be prepared with a map or with GPS => use coordinates.

Stille og rolig, Muligheten til å lage mat selv. Meget hyggelig personale, både Tony og spesielt hans mor.

Slitte madrasser, men det så ut som om disse var under utskifting. Vi reserverte leilighet med 2 soverom (4 voksne) I følge min bekreftelse, men det var kun 1 soverom med en dobbeltseng og en enkelseng. I oppholdsrom var det yttligere 3 senger. Blir derfor feil I omtalen om at vi har bestilt 1 soverom.

La famille qui tient cet établissment est particulièrement accueillante et sympatique. La piscine superbe et un calme appréciable. A consommer sans aucune modération, surtout les petits plats gréco-italiens !

La kitchinette est particulièrement pas en bon état...mais bon, rien de bien méchant !

De vriendelijkheid van de hotel eigenaren was echt bijzonder. Als onze taxi niet kwam wilden ze ons wel naar het vliegveld brengen, zo aardig. Het zelf gemaakte eten van de moeder van de eigenaar was ook erg lekker. Lekker rustig hotel met een groot zwembad. Elke dag kregen we schone handoeken en werd onze kamer schoongemaakt. Wij hebben het erg naar onze zin gehad. De weg naar het stadje Ixia was wel een eindje lopen(ong.1500 meter) maar een beetje beweging in de vakantie is ook niet verkeerd. Wij vinden het een aanrader.

Especialmente la ubicación, cerca de todo y en una zona tranquila. Es necesario un vehículo para recorrer la isla y disfrutar de sus particularidades, así que la zona en la que se encuentra el Eleonas es perfecta como punto de partida para cada salida... La acogida de sus dueños ha sido especialmente amable. Recomendable sin dudas...

מלון שקט במקום כפרי יפה, אך לא רחוק ממרכז עירוני ומכל הנוחיויות. חדרים רחבי ידיים, פשוטים אך נוחים מאוד. מקום בשפע למשפחה של שש נפשות. יש מקרר, פלטות חשמליות, כלים. משתי המרפסות שלנו נשקף נוף יפה של יער ובו מעט בתים, והר. משפחת בעלי הבית גרים בחלקם במתחם המלון, והאוירה היא משפחתית וידידותית. האוכל, לא כלול, הוא ביתי וטעים. יש בריכה גדולה וכיפית, שקטה, אף פעם לא מלאה אנשים סביב, משטחי דשא גדולים, שולחן פינג פונג, ולילדים זה יכול להיות כף גדול. כשאנחנו היינו לא היו כלל ישראלים, והייתה תחושה של רוגע ונעימות. בקרבת המלון חוף ים, מסעדות והר מתויר מאוד, ויפה. השהות במלון הייתה עבורינו חוויה מקסימה!
