Good value for money, good location
Its a 20-30 min walk to the acropolis but a nice walk. Right next to a metro and loads of cafes. Rooms were basic but clean and secure. Couldn't want for more for the price.
near metro hot water always
very old building noisy and dangerous area small beds no much security no heating
The hotel was very central. Omonia square is the absolute center of athens, and by far the most dangerous place of the centre. Policemen and police cars were all around the place, so that the tourists could enjoy their stay in the neighbourhood during christmas time. Extremely weird faces on the street and in the hotel lobby, but insanely cheap hotel rooms.
It is an absolutely basic old hotel. It stinks smoke, there is no wifi in the bedrooms. The tv doesnt work. It is although clean and the staff really helpful and kind. The area around the hotel is super creepy and dangerous in the night, there was police everywhere.. Who would have higher hopes when he pays 21euro/night for a hotel room in the centre of athens???
Location, the pool
No infos from the staff at all, cold russians.. and the room was not worth the money
Good location, economic
Not very clean, old furniture, no heating except AC, so ...i was freezing in the bathroom, you can not take a decent shower ...
smell in the room ;the lack of heating;the bathroom and so on
When you go into the main shopping area its really nice,
In the area where the hotel is a lot of people stare and we got offered drug quite a lot near the hotel
cheap and near metro
no wi-fi even at reception(the day i was there)
very cheap, near metro(easy to find the hotel) a desk man is kind
It's too cold in winter. The heat was not good. I slept with wearing a coat.
location (very close to Omonoia Square and metro stop) price
towels were not changed daily breakfast was extremely basic (bread, butter, jam, one slice of ham and cheese, coffee, tea, juice and water) no wifi in the rooms tv was not working
The location was pretty central - a 25 walk to the city centre, 5 minutes from the metro station. It was cheap. The air conditioner was useful for keeping the chill out of the room.
The room was dark and depressing, no direct sunlight, and who decided brown curtains and itchy brown blankets were a good decor idea? There was a cockroach resident under my hard lumpy bed. The tv didn't work. No shower cubicle, so the bathroom floor was wet all over after use, and no squeegee to even redirect pools of water down the drain. Wifi was limited to the ground floor only, which was at time pretty smoke filled. Twice somebody on the street outside tried to sell drugs to me.
Close to a lot of attractions. Cheap.
Wifi basically does not work. Room is not sound-isolated. Bed is not comfortable.
great location great value great staff
road noise on 1st floor, but hey what do you expect on a busy street in the city center?
difficult to find initially as the street has 2 different names
The hotel is close to a metro station, and the room cleanliness seemed very good. On the day I arrived there was even the smell of cleaner/bleach in the corridor. The steel shutters on the windows worked very well in keeping noise and light out of the room at night. The room was a good size.
Some of the reception staff seemed to make an effort to be as indifferent, or difficult and rude to the guests as possible, and one smoked while standing at the side of the small cafe/wifi area. The breakfast was the most limited I experienced in Greece: white toast bread, one slice of processed "ham", one slice of cheese, and sachets of jam. Tea and coffee included. This was five Euros. The cost of the room was similar to a wonderful place I had previously stayed in Plaka, which was booked out for a few days, so I went to the Elite and by comparison the Elite was very poor.
great staff helped us with many things
The location was great, close to everything and centre of the city.
No wifi in the room, and downstairs it was taking too long to come on.. The shower was flooding every time we took shower, alot of water on the floor.
Hotel is just fine, cheap and near the center. People who work there must be more polite with the customers.
Hotel close to metro station in a slightly run down area and close to centre of Athens. Most staff seem to speak reasonable level of English - handy if you speak no Greek. Great value for money for capital city hotel.
Hotel building has seen better days and the stairwell seems to be a trap for all the cigarette smoke from the ground floor eating ( and smoking ) area.
Cheap prices, personal, cleanning
Street, district, shower, lift
value for money totally recommended for solo travellers who seek a place to crash you pay what you get.
Extremely noise during the night as well.
The price of d room, we just booked it for an overnight layoff from d ferry terminal to d airport
No blankets, the rooms are quite old and feel a bit funny. The bed was too hard and had poor quality of sleep
