It was walking distance to most sites
It was in a bad area. I felt very unsafe walking around it was dirty and load to sleep. Not only that the whole place smelt like cigarette smoke and the toilet broke as did the shower.
Cheap, close to major attractions, ensuit bathroom.
Most of the staff didn't speak or understand English. WiFi only worked in the lobby.
The room smell like dirty feet, like a homeless slept there the night before. That was really gross. beddings were clean
Good location, great deal on the rate, clean room
WiFi limited on the 6th floor, but lobby good.
Location was perfect
Tv was not working and no curtin in the bath
Really dirty rooms and bad smelling bathroom (moist on the ceiling). The door of the fridge FELL OFF when we tried to open it, but actually that just gave us a good laugh!!! :D All the noice came very clearly also from the corridor from other guests of the hotel, luckily not that bad from outside from the street though.... Also the internet didn´t work as well as we hoped; went on and off all the time...
It's in the center and the place is clean. The staff was very friendly. Near the hotel there were a lot of cheap shops.
The street was quite noisy(traffic) and a it was impossible to sleep all night. The wi fi was available only at the reception and the stairs - in the room it was constantly disconnecting.
For the price paid it was 'okay' ñ. We stayd the first night in a good room with balcony and quite clean and comfortable, however when we got back from our island destination we got assigned another room which wasn't a very nice experience! I also left a my kindle the first night and was nice of them to keep it and give it back.
The roon we got moved in had no windows tje second time there! Also after two days we were covered in what looked like some sort of moskito bites...but sadly there were no moskitos in the room, heard or seen, so we left covered in bedbug bites!!!
The best thing is that this hotel is next to Omonia metro / bus station. The lowest price. Also there is wifi, water, wc, conditioner. I stayed there for 1 night, then was far from Athens for a week and when returned, they said that there is a mistake and all is booked, but as I have paid them long time ago, they booked me another hotel and paid for a taxi. And so I really recommend to all go to hotel they booked for me, it is - Moka hotel. All was super nice there (and its only 8 euros more) =)
Wasn't able to catch wifi in the room, it is not so clean, people too much smoking in the first floor where I cought wifi, conditioner was too loud.
Very close to a metro station, very convenient price (22 eur for a triple in singe occupancy)
Price was great Wifi was OK when it worked
Smoking in the lobby Air conditioner was quite weak Room somehow had a few mosquitoes in it
The hotel was well located (next to the tube and 20 min walk or less from the ruins) although the locatiom seemed a bit dodgy.. Staff is friendly and rooms are well mantained. If you stay in the back of the hotel, balcony is disguting
The balcony facing backwards was disguting, full of dead pigeons and very dirty but that's the only real complaint. Don't open your window!
The location was great Great value for money
Lack of maintenance all over (like a lot of other places in Athens)
The room was nice for the money. The staff did their job. Gave me good recommendations.
The neighborhood was intimidating.
Good location, great choice for short visits in Athens with very good access to the port through Line 1 train line (Omonia-Piraeus) and good value for price
Try to avoid the narrow or smaller streets around Omonia square during the night
Title says it all
The location was good, just a few minutes from the metro station and 10-15 minutes walking to Plaka. The room was ok, very confortable, 4 beds for 3 adultes and two small kids, so we managed. And it was really cheap for central location and the capital. I think i would go back.
It was very noisy with cars driving the entire night. When we asked for more coffe at breakfast, the manager said we drink too much coffe or something. Which wasn't even true because we payed for 4 breakfast and because one of the kids was sick, only two of us ate breakfast every day... And akso, i asked very plolitely if i could take some food upstaris to our room because my daughter was sick and she couldn't come down, they said NO. So this is the only reason i would think twice before going back.
Wasn't expecting much, didn't get much. But at least it seemed reasonably clean, the A/C was strong, and it was dirt cheap.
Old building, outdated rooms, no shower area just a faucet and a drain in the bathroom, no wi-fi in the rooms, just the public areas.
Bathroom broken and very very very small; courtains broken; door and window broken; unconfortable bed; towels never changed; dirty shower curtain; dripping fauced; many lamps broken; one of two member of staff was grumpy and he doesn't speak english
cheap near to the city center helpful staff
not clean very small elevator
Rude Staff No english in staff No willingness to help No willingness to charge in the correct mean of pay Dirty towels Dirty room Hotel seems to be the hour rent hotel kind.
Everything was great
For the price of a hostel you will have your privacy! Near to everything
Very old facilities
it's close to the metro and there is a bus stop in front of the hotel.
Awful. Small rooms, old building with a lot of noises, couldn't sleep at nigth. Staff and guests smoked in all areas, even if there is a sign of "non-smoking", so the whole hotel is stinky. Staff is not so polite. The wifi only work in the stinky lobby.
It is cheap and close to the city center.
There is no air conditioning in one of the two rooms. It is as hot as hell. But when you open the balcony, dozens of mosquitoes attack you. And the noise from the street doesn't let you sleep as well. Recommendation to the owner: to install an air conditioner in every room and to put nets on the balcony doors to prevent mosquitoes flying in.
