Elounda Ilion Hotel  

This is our second time in Elounda. This the best area for snorkeling, hiking and learning an ancient history. This year, I picked this hotel up because of a spectacular see view seen on the hotel pictures. Our room unfortunately did not have it, but we were able to move to another one with a really amazing sea view. The hotel stuff was extremely nice doing their best to make our stay pleasant. We also enjoed Six Sences Spa treatment in Porto Elounda resort located next to Ilion. To explore the area and taste the delicious Cretan food, one has to have a car. From our previous year experiene, we rented a car from the airport, not at the hotel, to feel free in exploring the north, east and south of Crete. All I can say that we had a great time to relax and unwind.

I cannot say that this is not a 4 star hotel as to amenities: some rooms have been renovated, some not. Even renovated rooms have been furnished pretty simple, no additional hooks to hang clothes / towels in bathroom. Food (we had breakfast) was a little bit boring with menu of limited choices but tasty. The Cretan food is very tasty and healthy.

The beds were horribly uncomfortable. Had to put blankets under the sheets to make it somewhat comfortable.

περάσαμε 3 μέρες στο ξενοδοχειο. μας άρεσε πολύ το δωμάτιο που ήταν πολύ μεγάλο και καθαρό. είχε υπέροχη θέα, μπροστά μας θάλασσα και πίσω μας βουνο. αρκετά μεγάλο το πρόγευμα και πολύ καλή φιλοξενία. αν μου δινόταν η ευκαιρία να ξανα επισκευθώ την ελούντα θα ήταν η πρώτη μου επιλογή.

τέλεια θέα, πλούσιο πρωινό, ευγενικό προσωπικό, πολύ άνετο δωμάτιο

La colazione è squisitamente continentale.

το δωμάτιο ήταν άνετο με πολύ ωραίο design. η θέα στην θάλασσα τόσο από το δωμάτιο όσο και απο τους εξωτερικούς κοινόχρηστους χώρους ήταν εξαιρετική.οι εξωτερικοί χώροι περιποιημένοι, καθαροί και με αρκετά φυτά.

τοι φαγητό στον χώρο της πισίνας είχε την ποιότητα fast food.

Personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Iets minder dan verwacht, komt niet overeen met de foto's op de site. 2 avonden gehad met veel te harde muziek tot vijf u in de ochtend. Het ontbijt en avond eten is simpel en hetzelfde.

Fantastisk beliggenhet med panorama sjø utsikt. Lekkert innredet bungalow superior rom. Nyderlig pool område, det også med panorama utsikt. Et deilig luksus hotell med flott service.Skulle gjerne vært der I flere dager.Kommer helt sikkert tilbake.

Trés joli hotel -vue superbe-jardin bien fleuri-personnel agréable- grandes chambres avec terrasses-confortable et accueillant

Un peu loin des plages pour y aller à pied-terrasses donnant sur les autres chambres donc intimité réduite- restaurant buffet pas à la hauteur de l'établissement
