The hotel staff are friendly and it is well situated. I fear, however that the Elysium is beginning to greedily outprice itself in the market and make it unaatractive for people to stay there.

Stunning view, stunning swimming pool area, very friendly and helpful staff. Cleanliness, noise... Our room was the first in the corridor and the door is clearly far too thin. Moreover, when the various sunset parties are organised, you must accept the music coming from the pool area through your window and or the room door. Overpriced if your are not absolutely willing to see the (marvellous) sunsets and participate to the sunset parties. Beware that the bar and the hotel are different businesses and your hotel bill will not include the drinks taken from the pool-bar which have to be paid separately and will not even be summarised on a separate bill.

the staffs are nice and friendly .. willing to help, the whole hotel is very well designed , stylish and well maintained. perfect sea view with the whole mykonos town down at the hill . nice sunset . very pricey , and expensive on almost everything . but then it;s mykonos ..this hotel only open 6 months a year .. so they just try to get as much as they can to put food on their table for the rest of the 6 months .. another thing about the location is; very nice view because it's high up on the hill there , but it means you need to climb back up there every time when you finished whatever you are doing down in the town .. and it;s not fun at all .. specially during the hot day . i think what they need is to arrange sort of shuttle bus running between through out the day as part of the service as i saw the other hotel just right opposite doing that ..

The location of the property was excellent for the town. The sunsets from the pool deck were breath taking. The staff made us feel very welcome and were so accomodating. Special mention to Socrates the bartender. He was superb. The only improvement would be the comfort of the beds. They were a little hard.

The Elysium Hotel is an exclusively gay hotel, catering to a mainly gay male clientele. It's situated in a wonderful position above Mykonos town and enjoys some of the best views in the island, particularly at sunset. It has particularly friendly and attentive hotel and bar staff, serves a good breakfast buffet and very good a la carte food up until 5 pm. From 7 - 10 pm there is a party round the bar and pool every evening with a great atmosphere, which attracts a pleasant crowd from elsewhere in the town. Compared to a town hotel that I stayed in last year, this hotel has a lot going for it and is a great place to stay - and make friends. It's somewhat pricey, particularly in high season. The en suite bathroom in my room could have done with some modernisation.

A great location and great staff but they need to do something about their prices. The rooms are far too expensive for what they are. Our Standard Room was very basic but clean and not a hint of luxury (which we should have got...at the price)! If the prices were cheaper, we would stay here again, but at the current price we will look at other cheaper hotels that offer more for your money. Standard Rooms were very small and overly expensive for what they deliver, otherwise a good place to spend a holiday. However, will not stay there again due the the price!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic location overlooking the sea. Swimming pool bar is the place to be at sunset on Mykonos. Rooms could benefit from refurbishment. The beds are very uncomfortable. Price is almost double that of other comparable hotels nearby.

Location is very good to mykonos town, front desk staff is very helpfull, great pool/deck area and ocean view, breakfast was good. For the gay traveller, this is a great meeting place For single traveller, the room and bathroom/shower is very tiny, if your 5'8 and weigh 80kg it might be fine, but if your a bigger guy this room is tiny, The bed was uncomfortable, bed linens and towels were worn out and smelt funny. The room smelt of disinfectant, good or bad....The room rate was not worth its value. For offering a full north american breakfast and being a european hotel they dont have a espresso maker? Waiting staff have to realize not everyone smokes..if your not healthy and not renting a vehicle, the hotel is situated on top of a very steep hill. I don't think I would stay here again.....

The hotel staff were quite kind. The breakfast was terrible and the hotel needs some renovation. Besides, what the hotel has to offer doesn't justify its price.

Great views and good location. Rooms are tidy but dated. Severely overpriced compared to competing hotels. Far from 5 star yet they charge a 5 star price tag.
