This is my second time staying at the Elysium. Great location, with wonderful views (particularly sunsets), great pool and outside jacuzzi, pool bar, very friendly and attentive staff. Most rooms have a balcony with sea view, definitely worth having. Very good a la carte restaurant open until 5 pm. A little over-priced, though room rates are much better away from peak times. En suite bathrooms could do with some modernisation (I understand this is planned in the near future). Restaurant is very good but closes early.

Having stayed there before, we were looking forward to being able to wind down by relaxing around the pool and having cocktails etc (however see comments below). The hotel has a conveneient location, just a short walk into town and is great for views over Mykonos Town and the sunset. We originally booked direct with the hotel earlier this year. Our bookings were then cancelled byt the hotel. In email they told us this was because of a cyber attack. We subsequently rebooked with Bookings.com. IIt became clear whilst staying there that the reason was in fact because they put their prices up and were not prepared to honour the original bookings. Our stay was an initial three nights and then a further two after a side trip to visit Santorini. On both of these weekends the hotel became a party club venue. There had been no advance notice to hotel guests. On Sunday 26th Aug and Sat 01st Sep, the hotel made the pool area unavailable to hotel guests while it set it up large stage structures for these club events. They made no offer of compensation to residents at the hotel nor a complimentary bus to the beach (which would have made up for removal of the pool facilities).

Food was excellent and the service very efficient. Sunsets were spectacular. Did not have to leave the hotel for anything. Price per room is excessive ay 400 Euros per nights. Drinks are expensive.

I spent 9 days in Elysium Hotel during this summer and everything was perfect. All the staff in the hotel was really kind and efficient. You can see the most beautifull sun set in Mykonos from the terrace of the hotel and every night at 9 o' clock there is an exciting party with dance and music. Everyone enjoys his time.

The views at the Elysium are just wow! The best place to see the famous Mykonos sunset; and the view in the morning with the coffee at the terrace makes the whole day. The staff were all amazing, very friendly and welcoming. The room was a good size, nicely furnished and very clean. My only problem with the Elysium is the walk up the hill after a long night out.

The view is spectacular. Most people staying there and most employees are gay. The hotel is way overpriced for the cost. Basic amenities such as pick up at the warf are not provided. The restaurant closes as 5, no room or food service after that. The cheapest bottle of wine is 33 € and there are no house carafes. Mykonos is overpriced, but drinks and food here are expensive by Mykonos standards. The lunch dishes range from extremely good (raw smoked salmon salad) to mediocre, with no dish under 20€. Breakfast is routine, hum drum. The wait staff are extremely accommodating, almost fawning, but things change with the front desk: At checkin you are given an orange beach towel. If you leave it in the room the maids take it away. When you go to get a replacement you are put through a 3rd-degree as to what happened top your towel. The rooms are small for the 200€/day price, wifi a bit iffy. This is supposed to be a "str8t friendly" gay hotel. So why are most of the rooms equipped with twin beds, not a double or king? The nightly drag "sunset" show and party features some of the worst lip-sync drag and woeful chunky gogo boy I've seen in decades. The show is essentially the same every night. My partner and I quickly learned to escape the hotel before the dreadful mess started. Mykonos is a tourist trap and this place preys on affluent gays providing us with with poor value for the price.

The sunset view is everything it's advertised to be. The hotel staff were all cery friendly and helpful. The hike up the hill from town while good for your health is a bit much if you've been out for a evening of clubing. It's not far but straight up hill.

The staff were amazing! We hired quad-bikes to get around the island and they sorted it all out for us - we didn't even have to return the bikes on the last day. They remembered us by name right for the first day and were exceptionally friendly and helpful without exception. The sunset views were pretty amazing too! It's a little on the pricey side, but it's worth it!

The Hotel has a great location with astonishing views of the Sunset and Mykonos Bay Area. Friendly and helpfull staff. The lobby and pool area are newly decorated. The restaurant has a fresh a tasty menu with well served portions. The deception of Elysium were the old and small rooms. Aparently not renovated as the commom areas (lobby, pool and restaurant). The beds and bedsheets weren't good. The bathrooms should be bigger and they desperatly need some renovation. The AIr Conditioning wasnt strong enough to spare the heat.
