Emily Hotel  

海の近くで、少し歩けば美味しいレストランが沢山あるのが良い。

ホストは凄くいい人なのだが、スタッフが少ないので着いた時に誰もおらず困った。

This Hotel was great as we were very close to all facilities, only a short walk to shops and restaurants, and only approx. 500M walk from the Ferry Terminal so hiring a car wasn't necessary for us. Great breakfast, nothing seemed too much trouble, Thank you Emily and Harrys especially for the beer.

All good but maybe a room at the back would be better because of street traffic!

Hotel is owned & run by a lovely lady(emily is her name).nothing is a problem.hotel is in a great position.old town within 100 metres,10 minute walk to ferry terminal.shopping & restaurants within 10 minute walk.defininately would stay here again.

The proprietor, Emily was most attentive to our family's needs. She had her son, who is in law school, bring a cot up to our room. Our family of 5 slept comfortably. Emily recommended the beach Tsmoudou (sp), which was absolutely amazing. We paid 6 Euros to the taverna and swam in the clear blue sea and picked apricots off the trees to eat. The breakfast Emily made was absolutely delicious. She baked a breakfast pastry stuffed with spinach and cheese, an omelet, and she had cereal and bread for the children. I believe we may have been the only people staying at the hotel for the night, since we did not see anyone else. We love to stay at owner operated hotels! The Hotel Emily did not disappoint.

I think we are used to softer beds at home, because all the hotel beds we have stayed in from Istanbul to Kusadasi to Samos seemed extremely firm to us.

Close to the port. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice continental breakfast.

The owner is a lovely helpful woman who really cares that your stay there is enjoyable. The hotel is very conveniently located to town and we loved our balcony overlooking the front courtyard!

Lo que más me gustó fue la atención personalizada, la calidez y la tranquilidad que se respira en ese lugar. Con un desayuno ri´quísimo y una prontitud para colaborar en la resolución de los problemas típicos de los viajeros

El Emily Hotel es un hotel sencillo con estupendo desayuno a pocos metros del paseo marítimo de Vathi que para nosotros adquirió la categoría máxima de un hotel de cinco estrellas gracias a la extraordinaria amabilidad de su propietaria, ya que tuvimos un grave problema con el barco a Kusadasi (no existía ese día a pesar de que habíamos reservado billete via web) y se ofreció a llamar a la compañía para solucionar los trámites, nos facilitó la estancia enormemente en Vathi con todo tipo de atenciones en el hotel, nos recomendó dos estupendos restaurantes no turísticos, nos ayudó a alquilar un coche... Le estaremos siempre agradecidos por lo que hizo por nosotros esos dos días que pasamos en Samos. La propietaria habla italiano e inglés.

Sólo puedo decir para otros viajeros que la localización en el mapa de Google no es exacta. El hotel está algo más arriba en la siguiente intersección de calles, lo que puede desorientar el primer día, aunque la gente de Samos en seguida te indica la dirección.

bij aankomst werden wij uiterst vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenares en bij het drinken van een aangeboden biertje, praatte zij honderduit over het eiland en leuke plaatsen om te eten of te doen. Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid, zeker voor Griekse normen. Alleen 's avonds en 's nachts was er wel lawaai van verkeer.
