Rooms need updating. From the photo's we were under the impression that it was on the sea front.. not with a fast 'autoban' inbetween the hotel and beach !
Clean Hotel, Good Location if staying in Glyfada
Noisy, They do not provide towels for the beach
Location. Roof garden bar
The staff were efficient and the roof top pool was good
Paying for a "seaview room" with a double bed and getting a view of the derelict building next door and the back garbage area of the hotel and two single beds pushed together which kept rolling apart. Then after complaining waiting til 6pm the next night for what we booked and being offered no compensation. We even had to pay for the two juices n coffee we drank. Hello! What ever happened to hospitality! We didn't take up the free breakfast due to time constraints but the two meals we paid for were not good. The meat on the souvlaki was as tough as a leather boot. So I'm glad I missed breakfast both times ....
Staff is not friendly or helping. Some are very rude. Room facility is very poor. Bed is too small and does not fit tall people. Room is ver narrow.
Loved the roof top bar and the food in the restaurant was wonderful.
The bed was terribly hard and my sleep was disturbed because I just could not get comfortable.
The highway noise which could not be blocked by windows. While in the reservation it was room is with the sea view and we left Hotel Illosis (the cheaper and much better located) for that. But upon arrival they said we are booked up! Very poor internet access. The Hotel answer: too many users!
Friendly and helpful staff.
Very helpful staff, lovely roof terrace with pool and bar, clean rooms, excellent shower, sea view room,
Not as easy to get to Athens as I thought when booking. Takes 1 hour on the tram. Quick in a cab but cost adds up. Noisy at night at the weekend.
The noise from the road was constant,we arrived and the pool on the roof , was very small and being on the roof you got chilled with the wind. there were no sunbeds available and there were only about 20, no room to lay. the hotel is far from the main town of glyfada
The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location of the hotel makes everything else convenient. The breakfast variety was also very good.
We had a sea view room, but this also meant we faced the noisy road in the front. The noise level was a bit loud when the cars, buses, etc. passed by at night and early morning.
Nice hotel for stay in ATH, nice staff
Lovely large room very clean good shower good internet extremely helpful staff beautiful unspoilt beach 5 minutes walk away (across a busy road)
Pool as closed for refurbishment - this must have been known when I booked but I was not contacted prior to arrival or even informed on arrival. It was a shock early next morning. After 2 days I was informed that we could use the pool at their sister hotel. Two problems with that: 1) too much dressing/undressing to go over to another hotel for an early-morning swim 2) the other hotel and the beach were across a busy dual carriage way that was a nightmare to cross. Very scary. I wouldn't cross with children or elderly people.
Warm and helpful staff, proximity of the bus and tram station that gets you to the centre of Athens.
You need to cross six-lanes to get to the beach. No internet in the fourth floor. There is are no fruits for breakfast.
Helpful and friendly staff at every level, clean rooms
Traffic noise, swimming pool not open
Fit for purpose. Staff cordial over the phone and understanding when making changes to booking - No language and or culture barriers. Breakfast and transport arrangements were great. Roof top Garden is breathtaking
I booked a double bed but I got two single beds. The hotel is very long from the city center, about 1 hour by tram. Very poor breakfast and was not orange juice, only orange water. The hotel charged my account twice. First time when I booked the hotel and the second time when I paid the hotel with visa card. Very much noise from the cars off the main road.
The location is good and the room is comfortable. The breakfast was also good.
We booked the hotel for the roof swimming pool, but that was closed due to renovation.
noise!!, dirty windows etc., bugs in the bath, no internet in the room
They did not tell me the pool was closed and told me to walk a 10 min walk to use another pool ... Would not refund me ... My main reason was to spend the day with my friends at the pool ... We had a reunion ...:(?
Nothing except the location.
1.The hotel is in need of refurbishment. 2. The double sliding doors DO NOT keep the noise out, so if you're a light sleeper like me, make sure to ask for a room far away from the road or wedding reception area. 3. The staff are not very friendly or helpful. If you get one that is, you're lucky. 4. Their website, Facebook page and Bookings.com all highlight the brilliant rooftop garden/pool. Which is why I booked the hotel in the first place. None of these sites were updated to let guests know that the closure had been extended until after the 20th of May.
The country and staff
The decor was too old fashioned
The bar person was very helpfull and the night man was very good and apologetic about the noise and did at least give us a room with a bit of quiet The hotel is on a very busy road and a lot of effort has gone in putting double doors on the balcony rooms to keep the noise out .it was one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in in Greece
unfortunately there was a greek party on in the hotel and the music was that loud we had to change rooms twice as the party went on till 3.00am!!!!also they had a bus load of italians staying and they were running up and down the stairs all night .....so not a good nights sleep . the receptionist could try and smile a bit she seemed very cold to us when we came in
