This hotel is not 5* by a long shot. The service was dreadful. The internet did not work, the TV did not work properly, The ironing board was broken. The room was noisy from the road and the area was dangerous at night being less than 800m from Omonia with drug addicts, thieves and prostitutes. The only good thing about the hotel was checking out the next day. |

We were pleasantly surprised by the modern quietness of the hotel, even after reading all the reviews. The room was very clean, beds reasonably comfortable and bathroom spatious. Breakfast, which was included, was very nice, with more variety than we expected, and even a few 'a la carte' items. Rooftop restaurant, though a bit pricy, had a fantastic view of the acropolis. Overall, we'd recommend the Eridanus to everyone. Only two minor complaints: First, mirrors. I'm only 5'1 so could only see my head in the only mirror in the room - the bathroom. A full sized one or at least a longer one for short people would be welcome. Finally, shower. While this is a very cool modern shower with a multitude of jets, using anything but the overhead nosle results in massive water on the bathroom floor. We used an extra towel to wipe it up so not a big deal, but nice to know (can be slippery if unaware). |

Has big room, big bathroom, and the bed was really comfortable. Also the hotel was near the metro. The room smells, maybe from from the bath tubes. |

Location is quite good. Hotel was disappoinment. In my category, more 3 star hotel than 5 star hotel... Small room, internet didn´t work. No mirror into room, just in bathroom. Really poor roof terrace. |

Eridanus is a very stylish boutique hotel. The rooms are beautiful and it's a very short walk from the main Athens tourist area without being in amongst the tourists. Breakfasts are perfect and the staff are helpful and friendly. We have stayed there 4 times and the quality has remained high. By the way, we are from Bath UK and not the US as the review states. It's on a busy street but it's not noisy inside. |

We stayed on the occasion of my wife’s birthday and the staff did everything they could to make our stay memorable. We loved the view of the Acropolis from our room and from the rooftop restaurant. The service from the all the staff, especially in the rooftop bar, was fantastic and so friendly. The pillows in our room were amazing! The combined w.c. and shower was odd in that after showering the next person was paddling when using the loo! This could be improved by simply providing a mop. |

Excellent 5 star hotel with a beautiful spotless clean room and bathroom with bath and separate shower. Our room was enormous and it was, even we were facing street side, very quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a magnificent start of the day. Roof restaurant had a fantastic diner and a stunning view of the Acropolis. |

We both thought the staff were excellent especially in the restaurant. Arriving latish on a friday we ate in the hotel and both the food and the service from a charming waiter couldn't be faulted. The hotel is in a good position for sight seeing too and is clean and comfortable and welcoming. It was a bit noisy but we'd asked for a view of the Acropolis so it had to be on the road side |

The location is very good for a city vacation. it is walking distance from the night scean psiri and keramicos. stuff was nice and helpful. we arrived early as we informed the reception. our room was ready so we could check in immediately. the room was on the small side but it had a wonderful balcony facing the akropolis so we could have coffee al fresco looking at athens major attraction. |

Comfortable boutique hotel in excellent location with friendly helpful staff. The small steam room in the gym was a nice way to finish the day. Did not like having to pay extra for Internet access. |

The room was kind of small but still everything in it was great, the bed, the tv, the mirrors, the little balcony, the lights & the whole design of the room was beautiful. The bathroom had a bathtub, next to steam/pressurized shower and a huge mirror in the middle! The breakfast had little variety but great quality! Every day the breakfast was different than the previous one! The hotel is small, none of the taxi drivers knew where it was! |

The bath room was very nice; large and clean as well as room. The breakfast is also nice. My room had only small window. Maybe other rooms have big windows. |

It was new, clean, friendly, & comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. It was a pleasure to stay there and I would very much recommend it to anyone staying Athens. BTW, The Astoria in Thessaloniki was a dump FYI I was unhappy with the internet service , unavailable most of the time |

most hotel staff are friendly. The person responsible for wake up call is not reliable, he slept and forgot to call so I was late or my meeting. hotel location is not a good neighborhood, metro station is pretty far , hotel itself is small has no lobby, entrance is not convenient at all to transfer luggage |
