Eridanus Luxury Art Hotel    

Eridanus is one of the best hotel in Athens. It's a cozy hotel, not confused as a big luxury hotel, you feel at home.

The position is very good if you walk around but if you are there for business the main street is very crowed. Very difficult to pick some customer up.

very good spot, centrally located, good value for money

bathroom was horrible, after taking a shower it was not possible to use it again until room service gathered all the water. If flood after each shower which is unacceptable for a so called 5star hotel. Reception was not helpful or provided alternative to keep our luggage until our flight was due, after an emergency they had and they were going to evacuate the hotel. for how long were they going to evacuate the hotel and how long were they going to keep all their customers outside it... found it very unprofessional

It is not a five-star hotel; offered facilities do not correspond with this category. The room was nice, but overvalued. And in a double room instead of a normal big bed there were 2 tiny ones, put together and they moved at night

Loved this hotel, of the four members of staff I met during my brief stay, all spoke English to a greater or lesser extent. Very nice, helpful

staff, location, service, rooms... everything was just great! would higly recommend to all who want something special and very close to the city center (walking distance). We enjoyed our stay!

The Eridanus is located some 1000 meters (10 min. Walk ) from Gazi along Piraus Road. 3Km to the oposite you will get to Omonia square. The close area is a commercial area (motorcycle shops all around). The whole area is not one of the best neigbourhoods of the city. With this as a srarting disatvantage point the owners and staff of the Eridanus did a great job. After the first day I was glad to go back home. The hotel Is designed beutifuly, It is far from the cold modern design you meet more and more in "Boutique" hotels. Once you are in you are surounded with warm Luxurious atmosphire .you totally forget about the noise and the mess street outside. I had a beuitiful room and from my balcony the view of the iluminated Acropolis was amazing. The rooms are beutiful and comfortable. Service is top class. Any request is met with professional exellent attention. The girls at the reception helped me find addreses, called my contacts and helped coordinate my meetings and visits. Breakfast Is super. Noting is missing. All is tasty and well made. The Aridanus Has a very good Kitchen. The restaurant is very good also for dinner. I advise others to go to Aridanus. They make up in every way for the location. And Actaually Gazy Is lovely to go to. One can easily spend two evenings in The great Gazy restaurants and clubs.

The location . I had a motorcycle so I could travel town easily. The Metro statinons near by (Kermikos and Thesio) are some 15 minuets walk away.

they told us they serve breakfast until 10:30 am, we arrived for breakfast at 10:10am and there was nothing practically to eat. there were no plates either. when we asked what is going on? they said that was quite late. there was tremendous amount of noise from music other guest due to the no insullation and of course the road.

Very, very nice rooms, great beds, great tropical waterfall showers, large TV's, and a wonderful view to the Acropolis from rooms higher than the second floor,the Lobby with the fireplace is very nice, the staff helpful and the reception desk very professional, the Greek Yoghurt for breakfast fantastic. Very good value for the money, close buy is the GAZO district,which is a highlight for bars, restaurants, Greek and international music

The entrance area should be upgraded, right in the entrance of the hotel a manager parks a large motorcycle and hinders the entrance ( this does NOT make a nice impression, especially for guests visiting ), some of the wooden floors are dirty and need refinishing, the breakfast can be a little nicer and have a wider selection for a 5 Star hotel, the coffee is not very good

the hotel is a good value for money, the location is near the city and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is a plus

The room was a bit small and the shower though it was very modern it was not so comfortable

I orlder room servies it was fast, nice steak but the coca cola it was hot bottols and rhe class it was with no ice... From the moment that they pick ip coca cola and rhey know is hot must bring sametime also ice. After when he left I was looking dor ice but if I call them it waa spent time and my stake wil not wating good . so I drink it hot

Very comfortable room, lovely bathroom. Previous reviews have commented on the inconvenience of having the shower in the same part of the bathroom as the toilet, but we did not find this too much of a problem. The floor dried pretty quickly and it was a lovely shower! Good selection fror breakfast - loved the mini pastries/croissants. Restaurant food was great and reasonably priced, although service a little slow. Only 10 minutes walk to the main shops in Monastiraki. Overall really enjoyed and will definitely be returning.

No real complaints. As previous reviewers have said, the area was a bit run down, but the hotel itself was immaculate.

Most spectacular view of the Acropolis, the Keramico cementery is across the street! You are in the heart of old Athens, walking distance to Tision and a lot of other trendy bars, cafeterias, and restaurants.The rooms are big, the terraces large, breakfast is tasty, the sauna is free, a great place to stay.

The neighborhood is a bit run down, but has its charm. The proximity of the Acroplilis makes up for it.

Breakfast needs freshening. Be aware that 5-star in Athens is not what a 5-star is elsewhere!

My husband and I were very pleased after enjoying two nights here (in Jan 2013). The Acropolis view with balcony was totally worth paying a bit more for. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We also took advantage of the marble steam room in the fitness centre, which was a bonus! Great value for money overall. It's just a 10-15 minute walk to Plaka, the Acropolis and some really lovely restaurants and cafes. We'll definitely be staying here again next time we come to Athens!

As others have said, the area around the hotel is a bit run down but it didn't feel unsafe.

View from the terrace was great, a good breakfast served and very reasonably priced and efficiently delivered room service. Service generally was very good

The directions by public transport are not very clear. Most things are an easy walk away but public transport with bags is not easy
