Staff helped out with our luggage and dinner everything. It was really sweet that concerning about us walking up and down on the cliff.

Espera had been buite for quite sometime. As the condition and design are little bit out of days. I understand it's a traditional house, but I think it could be better if change a little bit

We had stayed there 10 years ago. We had the opportunity to go again and no other hotel would we stay. Hassna, Artan, George, Ava and Dani are the absolute best. This hotel is breathtaking!

The view from the room is excellent! The sea and mountain is just in front of our room. We can just sit in the balcony, having food while enjoying the fabulous view. They also have small kitchen in the room, very convinent. The staff are very helpful. They guided us to find the hotel, carried luggage for us and sent postcard for us. The room is very classic Greece style. Our bed is in the cave! I love it!

The room is a little bit small. No sofa inside. Since the room is in the cave, we shouldn't expect 5 star level of spacious. So it's fine. :)

What can we say, from the moment we arrived by sea cat from crete to the moment we were dropped off at the airport for our flight home, nothing was too much trouble, transfers, lunch, breakfast, recommendations for dinner and things to do, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel is only 5 min stroll away from the hustle and bustle of the main village, but when sat on your veranda, you could be 50 miles away. It was just wonderful, thank you Esperas.

We had to come home and some loud australian female guests on the last day but that can happen anywhere. Try it, you'll love it......

I have been to Greece so many times that I lost counting but traveled in April for the first time, choosing this trip as a birthday present. There was nothing more I could have asked for and Esperas was a big part of this beautiful dream. From the airport with the rented car and the instructions received from the staff, I easily found the parking place and Danny, the bellboy, showed the road to the hotel and carried the luggage which made everything very convenient and simple. There are not enough words to describe the beauty of the place, the room overlooking the sea, Caldera and Amoudi, the staff which is extremely friendly and helpful. I've been to Santorini many times but this is the best hotel I have stayed so far. The breakfast at the pool terrace with that amazing view, so quiet and pleasant, away from the crowds of tourists was the best start of the day. Complaints? Yes, many! They give you a nice and cozy room, breathtaking view, wonderful atmosphere, offer a bottle of wine and their kindness but they steal your heart! Do you think they would give it back to me? I don't know, I'll check next time when I'll go there again.

I cannot find anything which I do not like. We stayed for a night and every thing was quite upto mark. I will surely plan to visit again.

Everything! Should be the best choice for honeymoon! Perfect location, perfect design, perfect service...perfect everything. I would stay here again if I had chance to be on the island again definitely!

Perfect in every sense: from the warm and efficient emails to the fantastic welcome, service and attention to detail during our stay. The view is spectacular, the beds (Cocomat) are very comfortable and I only regret not having stayed longer.

The staff were very friendly & helpful. The views were amazing, the location great.

Everything was great. What a fantastic place to stay. The views were breathtaking, The layout of the property including the unique swimming pool was amazing and the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful.

If you want to experience the Santorini vacation of your dreams, this is the place to stay. You will feel like you are living in a postcard. From the moment we were met by the staff at our pick up point, we were amazed at the unique beauty of this hotel. The cave rooms, the awesome sunset view from your private balcony, the wonderful service and quiet location makes this a perfect spot to take in this fantastic island. Good WiFi in public areas and pool. We did not want to leave!

If you have a problem with steps, this might be an issue. While the staff totally took care of carrying our luggage so we would not need to worry about it, some might be challenged especially if you get a lower room.

Glorious setting with superb views and spectacular sunsets from your own private terrace. Unique apartment accommodation. Very close walking distance to Oia with all its amenities, shops and restaurants.

Location and views. Friendly helpful staff. Quiet and peaceful. Spacious room.

Where you stay in Santorini and the view that you have while you are there, can make the difference between a fantastic holiday (Seeing Santorini can only be fantastic) and one that you will never forget. Esperas makes your holiday unforgettable. Very peaceful but a few minutes away from the buzz. The stairs are a bit of a challange but then there are stairs to climb all over Santorini. It is a pity that very few South Africans have stayed here as the travel agents tend to book only in the bigger hotels that do not look onto the Caldera. They are missing out on a magical experience. I am also happy with the choice we made in staying in Oia instead of Thira.

Fantastic location with great sea and sunset views

Our room was not as private as we wanted and as we stayed 6 days we felt felt we could have been accommodated better.

Esperas is a truly magical place. The accommodation , setting and staff make this a place for a truly memorable holiday. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The staff cannot do enough for you. This property is the only one to have a pool in this part of Oia. You can enjoy the magnificent sunsets from your own balcony avoiding the rush of the tourists unlucky not to be staying on the sunset side of the Island. Directly above Amoudi bay it is perfect for boat trips and Amoudis famous seafood restaurants.

The breakfast was good but lacked variation and the pool could have been hoovered. It wasn't done while we stayed........but the water clarity and chlorination was fine. Just dirt and dust that could have easily been removed. But this was a minor issue and does not detract from the overall experience of this unique and beautiful resort.

The Esperas Traditional Houses has breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding area. People travel every night to get a look at the magnificent sunset in Oia. All we had to do was sit on our balcony to see the most gorgeous sunset I have ever seen.

Only thing was the wifi is not that good, but why would you spend time surfing the net when in a place like Santorini?

We had great 3 days in this brilliant location with direct view to the little port underneath and Thirasia island on the other side. The perfect location!! We would always come back here it was great. The town Oia is such an amazing location with winded tiny paths. Esperas is a great place to stay, friendly and proactive - with international guests. A peaceful place to inhale the spirit of Santorini. We found the place fantastic to watch the sunset too. Just perfect and we would recommend Esperas to everybody.
