눉We have travelled a lot, we've been on all continents and around the world. Our kids are very used to travelling since we go overseas at least 4 times a year. In the Greek Islands alone we've been, to name a few; Naxos, Paros, Kalymnos, Lesbos, Kos, Lipsi, Santorini, Ios and more. And this was not the first time to Samos and Pythagorion. We've staid at tents, backpackers, hostels, resorts and luxury hotels. But we have NEVER been treated so badly, unfriendly and even threatening as by the older woman in the reception (not the same person other reviews refer to). This extremely unfriendly woman is, as we understand, the owner.
When we arrive she gives us a stare of disgust and without even a hello she starts arguing, we did not feel welcome at her hotel! We are a ordinary family from Sweden and had just gotten off the flight and were so happy to be in our beloved Greece again. We get so surprised by the instant harshness, I would even say evil-ness that we all turn quiet.
We had booked studios in which we could sleep with our 3 year old and the booking clearly stated 2 adults + 1 child. We had also booked an extra double room for our older kids. Somehow this was not aloud according to her. We understand that bookings sometime can go wrong and we are flexible people. We asked if we could buy an extra room. But she just kept on ranting about us not being welcome. Even though we had booked. It was late and unfortunately the other hotel across the street was closed. For a while I even thought we would have to sleep in the street with our 3 year and our 6 year old - even though there was available rooms...
After 2 hours of her arguing and screaming we finally got to rent an extra room so we could stay the night.
눇Alexandra and the bar staff is really friendly - but the owner is super-unfriendly. Ok pool and rooms.
