Evripides Hotel  

De unge mænds servicemindedhed I receptionen var helt I top. Morgenmad med bedre brød er ønskeligt. Adgang til tagterrasse hele dagen er ønskeligt. Er af uforklarlige grunde spærret hele eftermiddagen.

Hyggelig personale-utsikten til Akropolis når du spiser morgenmat-de har fått bedre kaffe!(overnattet der ca 10 ganger de siste 6 år)-de ordnet transport til flyplass da alle transportmuligheter var ute I streik- gaten utenfor var endelig ryddet for narkomane etc

Hyggeligt hotel, god service, central beliggenhed

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Very good air conditioning and nice beds. Decent breakfast with boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, and toast. The rooftop terrace has a nice view of the Acropolis and is open in the evenings until midnight. The hotel is conveniently located a short walk from the metro, Plaka, and Acropolis. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a good place to buy drinks across the street and a small grocery store next door to the hotel. There is a refrigerator in the room. This hotel is a great value for the money. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is on the edge of the "good" part of town. While we were checking in, someone walked in the front door, took a piece of our luggage, and started walking away. The lady checking us in was very alert and yelled at the man. We were able to get our bag back and she sent him out of the area. It's not really a bad neighborhood, but stay alert and watch your bags and possessions. We walked all around there, day and night, with no problem.

nice breakfast included in cost. hot water at all times. bathtub (small, but still good), nice balcony, great views of acropolis, easy to walk to all sites and metro (for airport access) from hotel. Heat and TV also included. And fridge. All very nice and clean and civilized for a great price. would def stay there again.

hotel is on a sorta sketchy street (ie lots of foreign men standing around looking like they might be up to no good) so I sometimes felt funny walking back after dark, but there were absolutely no problems and I heard that many of those people are possibly illegally living in Greece, so they really can't afford to do anything that could get them in trouble with the law... they can and do cat-call though. I'd rec this hotel to a student or someone on a budget who wants a real hotel room and not a hostel share. Wi-fi didn't always work in the room (did in the lobby) and the staff didn't apologize or care, which was annoying.

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Unfortunately it is not in the best location but we can see improved changes surrounding the hotel, which hopefully will continue. We have been returning for about 4 years.

General upkeep of the surrounding area.

Free parking was excellent, right in front of the Hotel within view of the desk. Breakfast was adequate, beds comfortable, clean room, and polite staff. Everything about the hotel was excellent.

Location, the hotel is very nice but the surrounding neighborhood is pretty skeevy as is well documented in the other reviews.

it's worth the money you pay. The staff was helpful and changed my room when I requested. If you can get room 711 on 7th floor with the view, it will the best. other rooms are normal and clean. not too small.

Wifi is not working the best but no problems with checking emails. don't expect too much on breakfast but not bad for the price. The blanket stinks like ashtray in my room I don't know if they washed them. the area looks sketchy but nothing happened. It's just a poor area.

Great location, within walking distance of the major Athens sites. Street of interesting small definitely-not-chic shops. Large balcony with south sunshine and Acropolis view. Adequate breakfast with fresh fruit. Quiet, mostly young, guest population.

Unpleasant (germicidal?) smell. Saggy mattress..

The staff very helphul room very clean exelent breakfast beatiful viev on the terrace while eating.not to expensive ten minutes away from the train station no need to pay for taxi

The location was bad but hotel was exelent if you a woman travelling by yourself dont get out at night only guys are out the police station is near by

Near to main tourist interest places like Plaka, Acropolis, metro station,

It is located in unsafe area. Many drug addicted along the street. We have been reminded by the local and taxi driver about this. Therefore we took the taxi back to the hotel in the evening even though it just walking distance. The taxi driver was so kind and wait until we (ladies) entered the hotel then he only moved.

Friendly people! Locatie was near centrum, that was super!
