The hotel is located in central Athens, close to attractions. It is clean, the staff is friendly. The rooms do not belong to a street fracas. Well mielyttävä thing is that breakfast enjoy a roof terrace which has panoramic Acropolis. The hotel is cheap and suitable for all travelers who do not require expensive services. Dirty streets around. |

Friendly and helpful staff, fine breakfast on the top floor with a wonderful view of Athens and the acropolis. Spotlessly clean. Convenient to everything. The hotel is only 2 blocks from the bohemian, fun neighborhood of Psirri. There are lots of fine eateries nearby. The Monasteraki metro and lively square are only a few minutes away. I'd definitely stay at Evripides again. The area that surrounds the hotel for a block or so is a bit grungy. Lots of friendly immigrants are there. Fear not. It is completely safe to walk there, even at night. |

They DID have TVs in the room with CNN, BBC, MTV, and many Greek channels that showed American movies and shows (Friends, House, Oprah, etc.) in English with subtitles throughout the day. Also included were breakfast (not fantastic but reasonable), wifi internet, a safety deposit box, minifridge, and a balcony connected to the room. The area was so sketchy, especially at night. Some hookers, drug dealers, garbage, and a terrible smell throughout the street - I recommend taking a cab if you're coming in at night. It's not worth the risk. |

Beautiful view from the upper balcony. Close to the city center. Friendly staff. Absolutely no problems at the hotel, but crowds of poor people in streets surrounding the hotel are not very pleasant (this should be solved by the city council of course) |

Hotel is nice and clean, staff friendly and hospitable. Top terrace with view on Acropolis is wonderful. Hotel is in the shady area, however, once outside with your back to the hotel, shady characters are gathering on the right along the street. Turn left around the corner, and straight down you are about 400 meters from Monastiraki area and entrance to ancient agora site. |

Clean and friendly. Easy walking distance to all downtown locations. I had read about the area being less than good. It's not great, but not in the least threatening, and you're only a few blocks from really cool bars and restaurants |

In a good, central position A lot of north African looking men milling around outside at all hours. Not good for a single girl, even though reception said they would be no trouble. Did not feel comfortable, running the gournlette. |

Clean, comfortable, breakfast adequate. Staff very friendly and helpful The area, although with facinating litttle shops, is a little threatening with several young guys just hanging around. Would not be good for a single woman late at night |

Despite having made a booking, we had to spend two nights out of six in another hotel, because the hotel Evripides was overbooked. |
