the location was good enough , the staff was excellent and generally the relation between money and quality was ideal . I will certainly go again
the breakfast , although included in the price was extremely poor and wasn't even fresh . The location on Saturday night was a bit noisy
- The area is full of amazing alternative places and people - Kind staff responded to my request for a nice room by allocating me a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the hill and the rooftops of Exarchia
the room was bigger then i had planned, easy to get to from metro
the noise for the street 5 floors below. very loud all night. Even when we left early in the morning still a lot of street noise.
I liked the hustle and bustle of the surrounding cafes/area. Loved the roof top terrace and spacious room.
Once you adjusted to the noise levels, I could get to sleep. I would def stay again at this hotel.
This was my 2nd stay here, and it is extremely good value for money in a very lively location, with nice cafes, tavernas and bars nearby, 5' from the Metro, good for Lycabettos Hill. A nice small bar and seating area. Friendly staff. Simple rooms but comfortable, with air conditioning
The location can be a bit noisy (but that's partly why its so vibrant) and this isn't a luxury hotel (neither of these bothered me).
- Central location - Relatively close to metro station - Good facilities - Roomy - Very good value - Perfect wifi
- Noise - Some insect gave me some very bad bites (cleanliness?) - No power outlets near bed
central location, in the heart of 'alternative' Atherns
Extremely noisy. Lots of noise from the square outside, all through the night
I found the desk clerks uninterested in me as a guest. When I asked for a wake up call at 4am to catch a plane, he could hardly drag his eyes away from his compute to make a note. I didn't have confidence that I would actually get a call so didn't sleep well. There were no greetings as I went in and out. Breakfast was processed cheese and processed ham with bread available. No toaster. The location was not convenient to significant sites and I took cabs. As I was only there for 3 days it was OK. I wouldn't stay there again.
Some nice affordable restuarants nearby.
We were in a room on the side of the hotel and the wifi was inconsistent. The shower curtains didn't block the water and totally soaked the floor as well.
Access to Archaeological Museum
Good modest hotel; and a good price; clean, neat; bed is very comfortable; staff is responsive and met our requests and provided helpful information; They also offered to move us;to a room on a higher floor, due to the street noise; but we declined; the sliding doors to the balcony knocked out most of the street noise; Exarchia is an interesting, funky part of town with good restaurants nearby., but an area that seems to never sleep. breakfast is adequate.
The city noise is the big problem; but the glass sliding door is pretty effective, especially when one adds turning on the a/c which hums quietly.
good location close to Omonia circle
the area is a bit noisy.
Wifi in all the rooms. Clean rooms.
Location is not great, always noisy.
I booked this reservation based on the booking.com description, but almost immediately discovered the location description was deceptive. The room was standard for this price/star range. It was clean. Breakfast is not included which is generally standard. The front-desk was surly, when I asked for directions to Omonia Square to which it was supposed to be close. It was also supposed to be close to the National Archeological Museum. It was a serious hike to both. Not only was it not close, but it was a long walk on narrow and poor streets that were often less than comfortable. (I've spent a lot of time in Athens over 20 years. I am not skittish. I was very uncomfortable in this neighborhood.) It was also very noisy. I paid for my room, but the location was so far and shaky that I stayed elsewhere rather than at this hotel.
See above: distant location from Omonia and nam and uncomfortable neighborhood. Surly desk clerk. Ok for backpackers but luggage on wheels would be impossible on these streets. Need to walk in streets because sidewalks often impassible.
service & braekfast
bathroom, bed, elevator
Perfect location close to all amenities, helpful and friendly staff, excellent value for money
hotel could use a re vamp, run down a bit old installations
Location is good for visiting the very center of Athens . Near Omonia square (easily reachable by metro to center and airport)
The staff was not always serviable
rooftop views of the mountain; good location; well managed.
elevator too small.
Very friendly people, clean room, great location. There are many nice cafes and restaurants where you can find local food, live music. (The only place all through the city we could find soup for our baby) very nice people around.. The thing I liked at most in Athens was Exarchion!
SURELY recommented ,for sure im staying there again,it was a pleasure to be there and people...you will not regret :)
clean rooms and a very well equipped bathroom
the room that i stayed in was with a double bedroom with a very small bathroom. the noise outside was terrible because the hotel is near a small square and people gather around until about 4.30 a.m. although the apartment has AC, this is placed in one bedroom and it serves only that room. no private parking. very bad and dangerous neighborhood, go out at night or come back just by taxi or car !! very poor breakfast !! i will stay here never again !!
Colourful lively square, excellent value for money
Not the friendliest reception you could get, mabye some noise at night
For people who like to make party at night here is the right place.
