El Faros II està situat a pocs minuts del centre de Pireu i al costat del port i s'hi pot accedir amb tot tipus de transport. La recepció de l'hotel és oberta 24 hores, proporciona informació turística i hi podreu reservar tiquets de ferri per visitar les illes gregues. L'hotel disposa de 27 habitacions netes, àmplies i completament equipades amb accés gratuït a internet per cable. Cada matí se serveix un esmorzar continental abundant. Everything! We arrived hot and tired to a spotlessly clean, spacious room with air-conditioning. We'd booked a family room and were delighted to find a huge room with a balcony and a whirlpool bath large enough to accommodate a football team! A far cry from the usual offerings of box-rooms stuffed with rickety camp beds.....We ordered coffees in the morning and were told they were complimentary, despite there clearly being a charge for these on the hotel price list, and when we vacated the room prior to the allocated time, the manager was happy to allow us to leave luggage there until the afternoon. Then, when he had difficulty getting us a taxi due to the strike, he insisted on getting a member of his staff to drive us to our ship!! Never before have we received such fantastic hospitality - Faros is number one in our book and we cannot recommend it highly enough for both value and service. Efkharisto poly!!!

Guy at reception desk was v helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable, good shower. Nice sized balcony to sit out on for an evening beer ! Altogether an unexpectedly pleasant place to stay at a very good price Pireus is a grotty port, but the hotel can't help that ! :) It's ideal location for an overnight for ferry transits. Friendly staff always make a difference too.

Very good staff, nice hotel, and very inexpensive. Not very easy to find. Location - too far from the gate we needed at the port, too far from the Metro Station and awful, horrible, terrible local area, feeling very run- down, potentially dangerous, limited eating/drinking locations, grim, dirty, bad street lighting. Would not recommend this hotel for families with small children or elderly people. For more adventurous backpackers etc, it would be fine.

Very helpful staff. Convenient location though rather a run down area. Ideal place to stay when travelling through Piraeus on Greek ferry lines. Breakfast although very cheap was disappointing in quality.

very nice staff especially since we checked in after midnight and they were there waiting for us. nice hotel, bad neighborhood. also, the hotel was hard to find and not nearly as close to the port as advertised Location

The Faros ii was perfect as a stop of point on the way from Athens to Mykonos. Situated in between the docks and the bay it was very easy to walk to and from both, as a single traveller this was perfect.

This was our third stay at Faros II. Still just as good - great room, staff and good price too. Can now prebook ferry tickets that will be waiting for you in reception - a real bonus Will definitely stay there again -

Nice, clean, big room with balcony. Very friendly and helpful owner. We bought breakfast at the hotel and the owner gave us more food than we could eat. Good location within walking distance to all ferries. Takes about 15 minutes to walk down to the main wharf. You can book ferry tickets in advance through the hotel. All in all it's a very nice hotel!

Very close to the port and market of Piraeus. τHe surrounding downgraded district.Advisable only if you want just a cheap hotel in order to catch your morning ship departure.

The familly room was very nice and large enough for us 4 (2 ad+2child). The staff is extremly kind and helpfull. The rate is fair : we paid 70E the night on Aug 7th. Because of its structure (stone soil, wood doors), the building is noisy.

The location of the hotel was close to the ferrygates. Good for a one night stay. There was a lot of noise in the evening and night. We didn't sleep well.
