We left our luggages at the lobby while being away to the islands. Every staff at the reception dest was so kind. The location is right in front of E10 (Enterance no. 10) of the port. If you arrive late at night in Athens, I recommand you to stay. You can get there in 10 minutes on foot.

Weak wifi was only problem. If you want to take a subway, you have to walk for a while.

All we needed was a place to stay for a few hours as we arrived in late to Athens and our ferry was at 7.30 the next morning. The hotel was perfect for this, however I wouldn't stay for any other reason. Good location near the port, it was clean and had wifi, but that's it. The staff were helpful and gave us good directions to the port for our early ferry. Port is walking distance even with suitcases.

The electricity went off twice during the night meaning our air conditioning and phones charging went off. The lift was extremely small and difficult to use especially with suitcases. The area wasn't particularly attractive and I was glad I was only staying there for one night.

It's a nice place if you're waiting to take a ferry from Piraeus.

It's very far away from Athens city centre. The neighbourhood was not comfortable or beautiful.

We chose Faros II due to the proximity to the harbor. Good facilities and kind staff. It was Great service that we could pre-book our ferry tickets and pick them up at the hotel at check in.

Very big rooms.. Balconies.. Close to the port. Great for a night or two to crash somewhere clean and safe. The tv and air conditioner were also a plus.

Big balconies, but poor view. Overall, excellent value.

    Convenient to Port. Clean room.

Doesn't seem to be in a good section of city. Room took a long time to cool down. Very hard to keep water in shower section - no curtain or anything to hold it back. Breakast not included with room.

Location was incredibly convenient for an early-departure from Pireaus.

Very basic hotel with few amenities, but very fair for the price.

Great value for money and convenient position if you have to catch a ferry

Size of beds can be a problem if you are too tall

We liked that it was clean

The location was not good being in a very run down area and a long walk with luggage to get to the port! The reviews were very deceiving because there were not many restaurants close by and as 2 females did not feel comfortable walking to after dark. The building must not have any insulation because you could hear everything from every room and hall way noise when people arrived. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. I would recommend staying around the market area in Monistiraki because the metro is only a 10 min ride to the port and drops you off within a 5 min walking distance to the port.

Convenient to ferry and transport to athens. Staff wonderful, good English very helpful. Allowed us to park in front of hotel, walked short distance to faros 1 restaurant where the waitress was also delightful. Street scape a little shabby but we felt quite safe and it was quiet at night. Excellent value and stayed there a second time.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly with good English! Close (2 blocks) to express bus 96 to Athens and 8 blocks from ferry. Water was fine to brush teeth and not expensive to buy bottled water in the hotel. Room and beds very clean. Breakfast good value at $6 euros but I suggest letting staff know the night before and they will have it ready for you. Small fridge was good. Wifi and tv were good. Balcony was nice to cool off on the hot nights but we needed some stools or chairs.

Beds very hard so I put a blanket under the bottom sheet. No coffee machine in room. This would add a lot of value to the hotel. Lots of ants but we dealt with it and put all food (even nuts) in fridge once we discovered this. Shower leaked near the back of the toilet which the ants enjoyed! Staff had the room sprayed. 2 chairs on balcony would add value. Area was questionable. It was very disturbing to hear a woman screaming and being beaten in a building across the street at 7:45 In the MORNING on June 23, 2014. When I asked the receptionist if the police were called they said, "we are not allowed" to call. Management should address this as I would hesitate to stay there again because of the incident.

Wasn't too far of a walk to the port and to the old port. Good price. Breakfast was 6 Euro and well worth it.

The breakfast was a bit dismal. I had two probs, the door lock and shower tray, both sorted quickly and well

We came in late with the ferry from Satorini and needed something close by. Decided to stay there for 3 nights due to the cheap cost there but it is at the port and far from the cit center and we were not brave enough to use the transit system due to language barrier. Instead decided on hop-on hop-off bus which took us into the city but stopped too early to come back in the evening.

Restaurant is at Faros l and is very slow service.Rooms are very basic but then so was the cost. Depends on what you want.
