Faros I  

Vam triar l'Hotel Faros perquè el nostre ferri arribava al Pireu a les 12 de la nit i marxàvem l'endemà en avió des d'Atenes. En aquest sentit, l'hotel està molt ben situat perquè en 15 minuts caminant dels del moll, hi vam arribar. L'hotel és modern, molt net i còmode.

Com ja he dit, la situació és molt còmoda per fer connexions amb els ferris, però per visitar Atenes està una mica lluny (tot i que hi ha un metro a uns 20 minuts a peu que us porta al centre d'Atenes). La zona, tot i que no em va semblar gens perillosa com a alguns dels comentaris que havia llegit, sí que és molt desangelada. El servei de recepció de la nit, tot i que amble, podria estar més ben informat de les coses, ja que quan vam arribar no ens va saber confirmar si el cotxe per l'aeroport ens vindria a buscar l'endemà (hi havia vaga de transports i era l'única manera d'arribar). Al matí, però, la noia ens va atendre molt amablement i eficientment.

It is close the Port, good value for money

Before my staying, I exchanged some emails with the hotel staff in order to book a taxi for our coming. But any taxi was waiting for me at the airport...

small room no double bed no breakfast included in the price (7euro more/day) pireus not really good place to stay if you are tourist and you go for sightseeing in athens!

Really clean cheap accomodation handy location for all port ferries. Staff excellent help for directions and getting any information required if you are visiting Athens. Rooms clean but very basic with no pictures on wall. I was travelling with my young daughter of two and staff were lovely with her.

The room is large enough, clean and is very easy to reach the hotel.

I spent only one night so I can not say so many. For only one night everything was ok. Only with the electricity was a problem for few hours.

We stayed at Faros1 for two nights before a cruise. The total experience was so great that we stayed for another three nights post cruise. Everything was more than expected. Staff especially Natalia, John and Athina were exceptional. Room quiet, roomy and very clean. Location very convenient to cruise ship terminal and cheap taxi to metro. Supermarket close by. Free wi fi through hotel. Brealfast extra cost but super value for money. Will stay again. Thank you for such a pleasant sty.

They had someone up to ensure we had breakfast before the ferry at 6.30 which was nice. The room was small but clean.

It was a bit of a walk to the ferry and the room smelt heavily of smoke (cigarrettes)

Very good hotel and very close to the port. Rooms are very clean and nice. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Passing through Piraeus on the way to the islands and so this was a great choice. Only a few minutes walk to the port and a great price for a double room. Polite staff, comfortable and clean room. Plenty of cheap places to eat just minutes away. Families might find the location close to a red light area off-putting, but we were not concerned. Would certainly use this hotel again for an overnight stay.
