Faros I  

The blankets are very dirty and smelly. We booked a double room, but they only provide us one sheet. My husband used the blanket without sheet below it, and then he was bited by some insects. He is now very uncomfortable and itchy. Overall, blankets in this hotel are very dirty!

Very clean, great service from the staff they were all very friendly and helped us with everything, great price-quality in general. Great choice for taking a moring ferry from the Piraeus Port.

Maybe the zone is not that nice but its worth it if you are travelling first thing in the morning, the hotel is perfect.

It was clean and spacious. Wifi worked well. Very cheap given what you get.

Location was pretty shady, but that wasn't their fault! It was convenient for catching a ferry at Piraeus port the next morning, which was why we booked it to begin with.

I like very much their food and service. Especially their breakfast. Young and friendly people, very good location near Piraeus port and Train stations.

They provide terrible directions. Had to walk 2 km to get there. Make sure you do your own research.

Nice location, close to the port to catch the ferry to santorini. Can book the ferry ticket via the hotel. Room is clean and decent enough

A bit far to walk from the bus stop to the hotel...

Near to ferry port. Ideal for the stopover to catch the ferry for the greek islands. 15 minutes by foot to the old harbour with lots of nice restaurants.

The gloomy neighborhood. However, we are coming to faros I for many years and never had a bad experiance.

Nice welcome from the personnel. Not too far away from the boats , the port of Zea etc...

Our room was beautiful and clean, spacious. The bathroom was marble and tile, with full amenities. Only thing missing was a hairdryer, unless we overlooked it. If all the rooms were as nice as this with the amenities, it's almost 4 star, in our opinion. Location was good for the cruise ship terminals. We were traveling with Louis Cruises. Regarding the staff: the hotel cafe was open til midnight. We arrived at it about 10:45 pm. We didn't get our food for 50 minutes. We didn't see the waitstaff for 15 min and had to ask front desk to call her.

Needs to be better staffed in eating areas.

Location, price.

Small, dirty room. May have contracted bed bugs from the bed. In any case the bed had small grey stains on the sheets and was quite hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom was also small and gross - there was a yellow substance left in the bottom of the shower I first thought was something else but appeared to be a soap residue?

Great place to stay if you have to catch a morning ferry at Piraeus. The location it's in is quite tacky and uncomfortable, but the hotel is nice and clean.

I had to spend the night at port to take a boat. and 30 euro dbl shared with friend = 15 cad. why not ?! I had great value for money at excellent 3 star !!!!! new and modern ! go faros go !!!

The location are not so good.

Great value for money, location close to the harbour, nice design, good climatization and windows soundproofing. We highly recommand it for transit voyagers to and from aegean islands.

one single thing: when people talk in the corridors or close the room's door, the sound is amplificated. We'd recommend some kind of acoustic insulation in the common areas (i.e.: carpets .- lighter key-rings...).

The room was comfortable and clean and it is a 15minute walk from the port . Friendly staff .

Clean, friendly, cheap and well located. Perfect for our ferry early the next day.

It was a short stay yet very comfortable. The room and toilet was very clean. We asked for adaptor and immediately they provide it for us. The neighborhood is accesible everywhere churches, public tranportation and near the port gate 10 to be exact. Thanks Faros

We stayed in a family room for four people. It was big enough, very clean and comfortable with air conditioning. The next morning we took a cruise, so the location for our purpose was perfect. We recommend this hotel to other travellers. The price of 70 euro for a night was very affordable.

Clean and nice reception, with a helpful receptionist, that explained us the exact location of the ferry we would take the next day. Clean and spacious room with a hot shower an airconditioning.

Kind of a shady neighborhood, as we walked there at 2am it didn't feel outright cozy.
