The location was good away from busy noice of Athens. The staff was helpful and nice. Breakfast standard small breakfast. Price wise this hotel is very good for someone who is not looking for expensive hotel with spa, and all the expensive design rooms and big lobbies and so on.

Enjoyed my stay at the fenix, the staff were excellent and the hotel was clean and tidy although a little tired around the edges. Bathrooms could be updated but on the whole had a very nice time.

Nothing that I liked in that hotel :( Pool was ok, staff helpful enough. Rooms are tiny, it is maximum 1 star hostel ( not a 4 star hotel ) The photoes of the rooms and hotel in general were misleading. Definately not worth 70 euroes a night. I regret we chose this hotel.

The swimming pool was refreshing on a hot summer day. The bus between the airport and cruise port was very accessible and inexpensive. Just make sure to ask the driver for the correct stop.

Best Western Fenix is very good value for money. Front desk were extremely helpful and cordial from the minute we arrived, and room service is speedy and efficient. Prices of food are similar to many other restaurants in Glyfada nearby (10-15 minutes walk). There is a bus stop just facing the hotel, and a metro station very close as well. The view from the seaview room is one of the best in Athens, clear skyline with the sea, trees and mountains. The restaurant downstairs is quite good with friendly service from people like Michailis and Khristos and other pleasant and welcoming staff. The only comment is that the bathroom of the last rooms in the corridor on every level (like the "02" rooms) are extremely small. All other rooms have normal bathrooms. Also one of the two small elevators went off a couple of times during our one week stay. I have seen or stayed at several hotels in Glyfada, and I can strongly recommend bw Fenix as the best I have seen so far.

The concierge were absolutely lovely. They delivered messages that my family had left, called taxis for us and were generally very friendly. I enjoyed the breakfast very much and I felt safe in the hotel. The cleaning staff weren't very friendly, some of them. I tried to talk to them but I think maybe that was just the language barrier. I think the dinner menu could perhaps cater for more tastes and then it could become a more well-known restaurant.

Very comfortable rooms, location next to transport network (trams and buses). We needed an overnight stay between Piraeus and the airport and this worked perfectly. Nice pool, very welcome to cool down and bide some time. The conveneient location in transport terms means there is a lot of traffic noise, which can be diificult to get used to for a one night stay as we had. However airconditioning and double glazing countered the effects.

Clean, good bed, free wifi, enough space in room. 90 euro too expensive for single use of room at very noisy road and old fashion bathroom. There are other hotels that have the Same StyleWriter and service but are half the price.

εφθασα στο ξενοδοχειο το σαββατο 28/04/12 στισ 17.40, οδηγωντασ απο τη θεσσαλονικη. ειχα κλεισει ενα 2κλινο δωματιο για μενα και τη γυναικα μου και ενα μονοκλινο για τον αδερφο μου. στη reception ο υπαλληλοσ με "βαρυ" υφοσ μου εδωσε να συμπληρωσω το σχετικο εντυπο με τα στοιχεια μου και στη συνεχεια με ρωτησε πωσ θα πληρωσω. εκεινη τη στιγμη δεν ειχα αποφασισει και του λεω γιατι με ρωτασ αφου εχω δωσει την καρτα μου (visa) για εγγυηση. μου απαντησε οτι εαν η πληρωμη γινει με μετρητα επρεπε να πληρωσω εκεινη τη στιγμη. του απαντησα οτι θα πληρωσω με την καρτα μου. απαντησε οτι και παλι η χρεωση θα γινει αμεσα, διατηρωντασ το βαρυ και ψυχρο υφοσ του. τον ρωτησα αν ειναι νεα πολιτικη του ξενοδοχειου, πληρωνοντασ με καρτα να προπληρωνεισ. μου απαντησε, ναι και χρεωσε αμεσα την καρτα μου, με το συνολικο ποσο και για τα δυο δωματια. επειδη ημουν κουρασμενοσ απο το ταξιδι και επειδη ειχα επαγγελματικο ραντεβου το βραδυ δεν εδωσα συνεχεια, αλλα με πειραξε πολυ. μολισ πριν μια εβδομαδα ειμουνα στην ισπανια, οπου εμεινα σε 5 διαφορετικα ξενοδοχεια και παντοτε πληρωνα φευγοντασ ειτε cash eite me thn καρτα μου, αν και ειμουνα αλλοδαποσ για εκει. αναχωρησα τη δευτερα 30/04/12 και πηγα στη reception να παρω την αποδειξη. ηταν μια αλλη υπαλληλοσ και περιμενοντασ την εκτυπωση τησ αποδειξησ, ηρθε ενασ αλλοπδαποσ πελατησ, ειπε οτι θα φυγει και ζητησε να πληρωσει, οποτε και πληρωσε με την πιστωτικη καρτα του. ρωτησα την υπαλληλο αν ειναι πολιτικη του ξενοδοχειου η πληρωμη ακομα και με καρτα να γινεται με την αφιξη και μου απαντησε οχι. τησ ειπα το συμβαν με την αφιξη μου και μου ειπε οτι επρεπε να διαμαρτυρηθω στη δ/νση. εφυγα στεναχωρημενοσ και εκνευρισμενοσ, δεδομενου οτι ειμαι πελατησ του ξενοδοχειου αυτου για πανω απο 20 χρονια και αυτη η συμπεριφορα του υπαλληλου στην αφιξη μου με πειραξε.

Kamer was prima, netjes en schoon. Wifi gratis, vonden we erg belangrijk. Zwembad (in tegenstelling tot nabij gelegen hotels) was gesloten terwijl het al weken rond de 25-30 graden was. Juist mede vanwege het zwembad hadden we hier geboekt voor ons 5 daags verblijf.

άνετα δωμάτια!λειτουργικό μπάνιο! μεγάλοι χώροι γενικώς! σούπερ πρωινό,από τα καλύτερα που έχω δοκιμάσει αν όχι το καλύτερο! οι πετσέτες δεν αλλάχθησαν τις 2 μέρες που έμεινα..αν και είχα βγάλει και καρτα καθαρισμού την δευτερή.. γενικά παρατηρείς αρκετές μικροφθορές όπως πχ ξεχαρβαλωμένες πρίζες..που δίνουν μια αίσθηση αδιαφορίας ου μην και εγκατάλειψης του ξενοδοχέιου.. και κάτι ακόμα,αν και δεν ξέρω αν είναι στα αρνητικά ή στα θετικά,εξαρτάται από την οπτική γωνία που το βλέπει ο καθένας.. την μια μέρα έκνα παραγγελία delivery φαγητού και με κάλεσε η reception να κατέβω να τα πάρω ο ίδιος απο την είσοδο του ξενοδοχείου,σχετικα νωρίς το βράδυ κατα τις 9.θα μπορούσε όμως απλά να με καλέσει να ρωτήσει αν έχω παραγγείλει,ο΄πως και έκανε και να άφηνε το delivery boy να τα φέρει στο δωμάτιο.τέλοσπάντων...
