The Filoxenia Hotel Kalavrita has 26 recently renovated rooms. We have combined traditional hospitality with a modern service-orientated environment to provide a comfortable and pleasant stay. In the winter you can relax in the lounge by the log fire while in the summer you can sit on your own private balcony and admire the mountain view.
In this mountain setting you can enjoy many adventurous outdoor activities, such as orienteering, archery and rafting on the Ladona River. For something more relaxed, we recommend a tour of the caves where you can discover the stalactites and stalagmites and beside the small lakes that shape the majestic surroundings.

The historical and scenic town of Kalavrita is built on the foot of the joining of the Helmos and Aroania mountains, at an altitude of 765 metres. The surrounding area of the Kalavrita Municipality hosts excellent natural beauties and possesses a rich history with many traditions.
The Kalavrita Ski Centre can be found on the north-west side of the Helmou at an altitude of 1700 metres to 2340 metres. It opened in 1988 and has modern installations with 8 sky lifts and 13 slopes of all skiing levels. It is situated 14 km from Kalavrita and is open daily from 08:30 in the morning until 16:00 in the afternoon, during the winter season.
A worthwhile monument of nature is the gorge of Vouraikou with its unique cog railway. You can go on an unforgettable trip with the cog railway. The train cuts across the gorge from inside tunnels and above bridges, and hosts a view of the torrent waters of the Vouraikou and of the thick vegetation.
