Bar staff and restaurant were enjoyable. Food was good for fair price.
The woman working on the front desk was very rude. We felt as though we couldn't ask for help or directions because it was too much of a hassle. She really made our stay unenjoyable. Other staff were lovely.
Location. Sea views from large balconies, great pool. Comfortable rooms.
We were relieved that they had overbooked and were moved to a better apartment.
Cavalier attitude of owner and staff. The whole accommodation fee taken out of our bank account 3 days before our arrival.
Looks really nice from the outside. And that would be it. That gave me a good first impression.
When checking in I was asked to pay in advance (how stupid of me I did not check the room first) and my id was returned to me only after check-out (now that's super weird). I paid 60EUR for a night, double room with a balcony, sea view. What I got was a dungeon room for three, no balcony, with two chairs and a table put just outside the door. Felt like a basement. The view... well, the sea was there, just behind a concrete staircase you could see from a window. Then there was a fence, some bushes, and a road. The sea - yup, was there, but you could not see it. The room was filthy, spiders, bugs, 3cm space under the door so anything could crawl in. Breakfast - hahaha (we were given a different "menu" - small piece of paper - than everyone else)... No, realy, a joke. But the worst thing was the smell in the room. Disgusting smell of cigarettes, impossible to get rid of. I asked for an air freshener at the reception, and was told they don't have any, the cleaning staff don't have one either, and if I want, there is a supermarket downstairs. No, seriously?! After I complained, the nice girl at the reception said she will go buy one (well done, genius). They only sprayed the room once so the awful smell was back within an hour. The bed was comfortable but so what if I was not able to sleep because of the horrible smel (nope, opening the window or using aircon did not help)l!!! I went to booking.com and checked that they have free rooms so asked for another one - I was told they are fully booked, and that I am the only guest from booking.com website. So I called Booking, and a consultant confirmed to me there are a few free rooms. They even called the hotel trying to find a solution, but the guy who picked uo the phone did not want to discuss. And all that for 60EUR - rip off! Oh, the receptionist seemed surprised there should be a kettle and a coffee machine in the room, but eventually I got the kettle.
