I really liked the stuff, the rooms and the breakfast, it was a wonderful trip for me
The pool, restaurant and reception have all been redone and are beautiful. Really fantastic place to hang out for a few days. Front desk staff were so helpful and we loved the amazing breakfast everyday. The room was perfect for our family with separate beds for our children.
Minor room issues including problems with WIFI and some lightbulbs out but nothing that made our stay any less fabulous!
Very nice new boutique hotel located 8 minutes drive from Mykonos town (car, scooter or AVT is really an advantage to explore the island). Helpful staff who arranged rental & transport for us and provided us with useful tips. We were upgraded to a superior room with big terrace & sea view for free. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Great breakfast with lots of varieties (everyday there were new choices). Overall highly recommended and given Mykons August accommodation prices also excellent value for money.
Minor things - WiFi in our room was rather poor (better outside), TV had no English channels and we personally we did not like the fact that the bathroom door were from clear glass.
This resort is still in the process of upgrading. So certain facilities are excellent - such as the restaurant (yummy food for fair prices), the pool area and the beautifully designed reception area - whilst other things still need to be improved. The staff are lovely and helpful; the free pool towels a boon, and the transfer service comes in handy. Oh and the free breakfast is pretty good too!
Don't choose this resort if you value scenery: there's a cement factory on one side and vast, arid goats fields on the other. Yes, you can see the sea - but far in the distance. The location is peaceful though and away from the hustle & bustle. Although most of the 2pers units have been upgraded to the boutique standard the hotel claims to be, we were staying in the 6pers maisonette which is still firmly stuck in the 90s. Beds' mattresses were very hard, the living room (with no ac) housed 2 of the 6 sleeping places, leaving the (large) outdoors terrace as the only gathering space. The kitchen is very sparsely furnished so if you want to make a full-on meal, you'll have to improvise. There are two bathrooms but the water pressure in both leaves a lot to be desired. All in all, the maisonette needs upgrading badly - it's functional now, but it is not boutique standard like the other units. The staff informed us that this winter, they will upgrade many of the remaining facilities incl installing a spa / yoga area, so hopefully in the future the entire resort will offer the boutique standard - including the maisonette.
the apart hotel is beautiful, amazing swimming pool and swimming pool area with good food. The breakfast was very nice too. The staff of the hotel very kind and helpfull all time for everything. i really recommend this place and is very good too because you are in a very quite area with amazing view and is only 5 minutes in motorbike from the city center.
Beautiful pool area Staff were exceptional Ate at restaurant and was one of best meals we had in Greece Enjoyed the breakfast which had good variety Not difficult to get to and from Mykonos city via taxi or bus I would recommend renting a car as it made it easier to get to beaches
The mattresses on the twin beds in our room need replacing as were not very comfortable
The staff was amazing, so nice and helpful. The hotel was beautiful and the pool area is awesome! The food is good and not expensive at all.
The fact that we were expecting a remodeled bedroom and we got an old rustic bedroom
Lovely little hotel on the quiet side of the island. Definitely need a car/scooter to get around but thats how it is with most of mykonos. Good breakfast, great rooms, wonderful hosts! Especially when we were forced to leave 3nights into our 6 night stay due to a medical emergency, the host was very helpful to my fiance, helped him organise everything and gave us a discount for the unused nights. Very much appreciated considering another hotel my sister was staying at played dumb and refused to give them any discount when they were leaving early for the same medical emergency. Thank you!
Everything was great. Only two minor things - 1) poor wireless in our room. Couldn't open websites. 2) the shower was over the spa bath with no curtains or doors around it so the bathroom would flood every time. Other than this was a great hotel, very happy to recommend!
When we arrived we were greeted by the most friendly manager. He was so helpful sorting out everything and making sure we were settled and happy. We stayed in a superior sea view room. The view was of the ftelia bay which is 700 metres away. The pool was spectacular, with different places to sit and enough for everyone. With the bar opening at 2 it was the perfect setting to have a relaxed lunch and a cocktail (the bar man was exceptional!). Breakfast is really nice with a wide selection of foods, from cakes to hams to cereals. we spent the first night at the hotel restaurant and had a view of the pool which was very romantic and so pretty. The waitress so friendly and helpful, making special efforts as it was my birthday! We also hired a quadbike which was so much fun but also quite necessary. The hotel offers transfers to and from the hotel and it came in very handy because there's only 30 taxis on the island! Mykonos town is beautiful day and night, so many restaurants to choose from and little cafés for cakes after! I have never seen such beautiful water than the sea in Mykonos, crystal clear and perfect for snorkling. The beaches are so beautiful and big and most places have a restaurant so you can eat there. The Greek are some of the friendliest people I've ever met, never felt unsafe, always had no problems asking for directions or having a quick chat.
Mykonos is a very expensive island, for us being a very young couple we found we did have to budget. Also the fact that there is only 30 taxis on the island makes things very difficult, we had to wait 3 hours for a taxi the first time we went to town, so make sure you book it with the hotel! the quad we hired was so brilliant, we were able to zip around the island, to shops, to town and beaches. Would definitely recommend some sort of transport although there is a regular bus that stop is just around the corner. Only thing id say about the food at the hotel restaurant is that it is quite fancy food rather than traditional and if you're not into that kind of thing you are limited with what you can have but it's worth looking at the menu. Overall a fantastic stay and hoping to go back in the future! Loved every minute
management and staff were super kind, helpful, and went out of their way to accommodate us! The ambiance at Ftelia Bay was great, and the decor is done with a lot of taste. It was a really relaxing place to stay. Thank you!
The staff were very nice and open. The pool and bar area and quite cost. My room had a nice view and was quite clean. Bathroom was nicely fitted!
Toiletry was not very good for such a nice hotel.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the pool and cocktails were lovely!!!
The food we ordered for our dinner was of poor quality and the choices were limited. Also we had no soap or conditioner in the bathroom.
We loved the fact that the hotel is just far enough from the tourists area so that you can get some sleep at night or in the afternoon. It's not in walking distance for anything so you need to rent a car/bike but in fact you should do that anyway because the island itself is pretty large. There is a nice quiet beach in walking distance to the hotel. The accomodation was in fact perfect. Clean, comfortable, great breakfast, nice restaurant with a great view. Also, the parking is awesome since we were driving onto the island. All in all, we felt very welcomed to the hotel and will definitely come back next year.
Nothing, except the Internet or better off lack of it which is common throughout the island. All for the best. I was able to fully disconnect on this island.
Breakfast was very poor
The location was right at the base of a bus stop that took you to town or to the main beaches. The property was clean, the food was great (especially breakfast), and the staff were wonderful!
Nothing to report!
Mykonos is a very special island and the hotel Ftelia Bay definitely helps you get even a better overall experience. Hotel staff is very friendly, helpful and efficient. Food selection and quality is great, pool and bar/lounge area is beautiful. The location is centered and offers a short car/scooter/quad ride to the center and the most famous beaches of the island. Will definitely recommend this hotel!
Amazing place with a great view and location. All the team of Ftelia Bay do a great job! Highly recommended.
Amazing location with friendly and always helpful staff - it would be difficult not to relax here - highly recommended.
Overall, everything was perfect, especially the staff was really helpful, the environment of the hotel is good, the room is perfect.. We did really enjoy our stay in Ftelia Bay Hotel, the sad thing is that we have not enough time to stay definitely will go back again.
The only thing is the hot water in the shower room is very slow have to wait for maybe around 5mins or more to get the hot water to shower.
better if the time breakfast begins at 7.30 a.m.....
Staff were most helpful, good choice of breakfast dishes, clean room.
Misleading hotel website as old rooms are not pictured but are still being used. Hotel surroundings barren and car essential.
Staff were great could not be more helpfull. Peaceful, quiet. Design of rooms and hotel Food was lovely.
Location(very close to Mykonos and various beaches,quiet/peaceful) Breakfast(big variety, cooked breakfast, hot coffee, homemade cakes!) Swimming pool; Friendly staff; Parking facilities; Chapel View
Happy hour cocktails(no or hardly any alcohol); Restaurant(limited choice:no pizzas except on the menu....) "Furniture" on the terrace; Dangerous cornice(health and safety issue) on terrace; Quite repetitive music; No light on terrace(existing lamps not switched on). TV useless(too small,2 Greek programmes); Lack of privacy(glassdoor to shower/toilet; neighbour can look straight into your bedroom/toilet from his/her terrace
The staff were absolutely brilliant, specifically Dionysus. Extremely helpful and friendly. Central to everything there is to see in Mykonos and a great view.
The fact that we had to leave.
- Personnal very very very nice, we are like in the home. - Very good breakfast - Very beautiful swimmingpool, and the room is very confortable, and big - Very good location (5min to the main town Mykonos, 5 to 15 min maximum to the beautiful beaches in the north and 10min to the beaches in the south where we can do the fiesta)
