With a privileged position, on the crest of Santorini's caldera, Galaxy offers cave suites with hot tub and 3 spacious verandas boasting spectacular views over the volcano. It has 2 outdoor pools overlooking the Aegean Sea and serves a rich American breakfast. Each air-conditioned suite of Galaxy Suites & Spa has an elegant Cycladic style, and a marble bathroom. All have an LCD TV, a fridge and free Wi-Fi, and some suites feature a kitchenette. A rich American breakfast with traditional Greek dishes, made with fresh local ingredients, is served by the pool area or in the privacy of the guests’ rooms. There is also a pool bar, where guests can enjoy the sunset to the sounds of lounge music. Drinks, cocktails and light meals are served. Galaxy Suites is ideally located in the quiet village of Imerovigli, yet within just 2 km from the bustling capital of the island, Fira. Free public parking is possible near Galaxy Suites. We were allowed to enter earlier. Lovely view . Clean even though we were in the new section. Didn't have to walk up many steps. Staff do anything for you.

from our balcony there was complete privacy, no-one could see in... the sunset view was completely unobstructed, best u had seen in santorini!!! the staff were great, very welcoming... the food was fantastic, very romantic location everything was fantastic

We stayed at Galaxy Suites from August 19 to August 22, 2012. We were on our honeymoon and we stayed in the Modern Suite with a private Hot tub. I loved the view of Galaxy Suites. It is breathtaking. It feels like one has stepped into a postcard. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The bathroom has excellent freebies. The hotel food is brilliant and the portions are huge. Breakfast is great and is served ala carte on your balcony / at your private hot tub. The receptionist Vaios is very friendly and helpful. The location in Imeroviglion is convenient. It is a 5 EUR cab ride from Fira and a 10 EUR cab ride away from Oia. For us, it made a lot of sense to save 150 EUR / day (difference between a good 4 star hotel in Oia and Imeroviglion) and spend about EUR 20 to 25 on the cab rides. All in all, I would wholeheartedly recommend Galaxy Suites to one and all.

The hotel benefits of a magnificient view on the Caldera, and you can envoy your day in a relaxing environement. The staff always ready to help for any of your excursion on the islands. The room is very clean and benefits from Wifi Access. We have not only envoyed the breakfast but also the cook, dinner dishes are prepared on demand with fresh condiments. The location of the hotel is nice for walks either to Thira or Oia, and from 5 mins from the bus stop.

Excellent (the best) location Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly Breakfast (a La Carte) the best ever,and we have travelled a lot Stairs (uneven) and lack of handrails are not condusive for a 77 year old-but that is not their fault.Younger people have no problem. The spa shower is an excuse.Badly installed and hard to use. Please do not allow these negative comments deter you from this wonderful site

- Nice traditional cycladic architecture of the cave suites (however, that was the main reason for having humidity in the room). - Great, excellent panoramic view of the caldera (Nea Thirasia and Oia). - Friendly and helpful staff. - Old towels - Medium breakfast. It should be of much higher standards for the quality of the hotel and its cost.

Very nice location, especially if you want to enjoy the panoramic sunset of Santorini. The staff was super friendly and helpful. One time that we couldn't get a taxi to get to Fira, the owner offered to take us there. The a-la-carte breakfast is superb! Honestly the best breakfast I have ever had and I stayed in many top notch hotels in my life. None. We really enjoyed the hotel and we highly recommend it. The wires that are in front of some of the rooms were not a problem for us and this should not be a negative factor for booking this hotel.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié lors de ce séjour la jacouzi privé (température constante à 37 degrés) sur la terrasse de la chambre ainsi que la gentillesse du personnel. Nous avons été surclassé (en précisant qu'il s'agissait de notre anniversaire de mariage et aussi parce que l'hotel était vide) et nous avions une très belle chambre de 35 mètres carrés avec une grande terrasse (chambre 21) offrant une jolie vue sur la 2ème piscine (avec un accès privé mais beaucoup trop froide pour s'y baigner) et la caldera. Seul bémol, des fils éléctriques en bas de l'hotel gâchaient légèrement la vue qui restait tout de même merveilleuse... Si j'avais à choisir je préfèrerai séjourner la prochaine fois à IOA plutôt qu'à FIRA (l'hotel Galaxie suites se situant dans un petit village tout près de Fira), qui offre encore une plus jolie vue (sans fils électriques). Je vous recommande toutefois cet hotel surtout en Mai ou en Septembre-Octobre (saison idéale pour Santorini).

Cortesia e disponibilità del Propietario e di tutto lo staff ! Camere tutte dotate di vasca tipo jacuzzi privata, pulitissime e molto confortevoli, vista mozzafiato, splenditi tramonti I lettini della piscina "sociale" non sono in linea con lo stile lusso.....posizione lievemente decentrata rispetto al centro dei Imerovigli.....ma forse questo è un bene...dipende.
