La isla ofrece algo a todo tipo de intereses. San Jorge está situado en la localidad de Naxos, a sólo 300 metros del centro y es un magnífico centro de vacaciones. La playa San Jorge (Agios Georgios) es la playa de la capital.
Con un kilómetro de finas arenas, ofrece una infinidad de restaurantes, chiringuitos, bares de playa y deportes acuáticos, además de tumbonas y sombrillas.
La poca profundidad de sus aguas la hacen apropiada y segura para los niños.
El ambiente general es muy relajado y no hay nada mejor que disfrutar una bebida en la playa para sentirse realmente de vacaciones.

Los dueños del hotel son encantadores, tanto Sofía como sus hijos nos ayudaron a conocer mejor la isla, aconsejando restaurante, lugares de interes... Está al lado de la capital y es un hotel encantador, limpio y con magnífico desayuno. Recomiendo mucho el Hotel Galini y la isla de Naxos. Todo perfecto. Perfect!!!!!!!!! |

El personal muy muy amable y simpáticos. El hotel es muy agradable y ambiente familiar. Y lo mejor de todo es la ubicación en una zona tranquilísima sólo a 5 minutos del bullicio de Naxos y a 2 minutos de la playa ¡ fantástico!. En una de las 2 habitaciones que teníamos alquiladas, la ducha era pequeñísima, una persona 'muy grande' no cabría entera. |

I had a nice room with a patio facing the small church. Some earlier guest telling this is facing a car parking. It is a green area between!!!. Nice owners and good buffet brakfast. The bathroom could be bigger, but it was clean. |

The Galini is a family run operation that goes out of its way to please you. Great morning beakfast in the typical European style. You are right on the beach and most roms have a view. While we only stayed one day due to travel comittments, this place could provide a great base camp for for fun and adventure on the island of Naxos. Also shopping in the shops offer some of the best deals on Olives, wines and cheeses. In closing let me make one important closing final note. We traveled a total of 15 days and stayed in a total of 6 hotels mostly 3 and 4 star hotels. None in Greece were more accomodating or personable than the staff and owners of the Hotel Galini. They make you feel at home |

This hotel is very convenient for the beach,port , square & the Chora all being within easy walking distance. The beautiful sandy St. georges beach with its good tavernas is only minutes away. The hotel rooms are well appointed and have been designed with care using lovely local blue & white ceramics. The bed was very comfortable & our balcony had a view of the port & the beach. The owners were very welcoming & the sons provided complimentary transport to & from the port. The breakfast was simple but adequate. The A/C worked well,essential in the heat of late june. The lack of a swimming pool but there was so much to explore we didnot miss it too much. |

Good price/quality. Good position: 5 mints walking to get city center. Free Internet access 24 hours. Bathroom too small. Too noise in the morning (employee cleaned the rooms starting at 8 a.m.). Breakfast enviroment could be better. |

The room we stayed in looked like a "autentic" greek room. It was beautiful. The hotel is located only a short walk from the beach. The balkony was cosy. The people in the reception have to learn English. We were accused for not paying for the room. The man in the reception shouted out in front of others guest that we had not pay for the rom. We had indeed paid for the rom. We recommend that they learn English, so such episodes do not happen in the future. We got a rather rude and childish email from them after we left. The cleaning lady did not close the glass door to the balcony (that was on the ground) only a thin wooden door. Anyone could have walked in and stole from us. Be aware that on the hotel door the hotel was marked with only one star, and we think that the price is too high if this is a one star hotel. But all in all, we think this is a ok hotel, and we recommend people to stay here. |

This is a quaint, family run hotel. Our comfortable room had a lovely terrace facing the sea. A tasty, buffet breakfast was included. We enjoyed the comraderie of both the family and other guests. The location is very quiet and a few minutes walk to the city center. We would recommend this hotel to friends. |

The tile inthe bathroom was truly a workof art. Probaly one of the best jobs I've ever seen. The staff was totally helpful andkind. They got special cushions for me to use on the outside porch since I spent a lot of time there. It was a wonderful experience. Sophia wanted me to see all the rooms soI would happy withmy choice. Very accomodating. I am too tall and large to fit comfortably on twin/single' beds. The mattrtess and pillows were great but I could have used a larger bed. I found everywhere I stayed in Greece that larger beds are not usually available and rarely for 'single' travelers'.I would like to have had a box of kleenex. It is spring and I was sneexzing a lot, etc. |

Enjoyed the excellent hospitality and warmth provided by the family running the hotel. I loved everything about the hotel but I would recommend better quality pillows for our bedrooms. Other than that both - the service and hospitality were second to none. We were on our honeymoon and we hope to come back with our children! |
