Reduced services - eg pool and poolside bar closed as the season was drawing to a close
Fantastic place with the most friendly and helpful staff you can imagine. Staff knew from day one who you were. Especially good for gay men, and kind of a relief with no children running around!
Good location. Staff made us feel very welcomed. Loved this place.
Our room didn't get WIFI but once you walked right outside, it worked just fine.
Great stay at the geranium , made to feel very welcome and the staff were great . Good location to get into town down a steep hill ( harder coming back ) .. Great place to stay would choose again for sure .
Bathroom bit small but workable
Loved the friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent, and reasonable, for what you got (unusual in any hotel!!) Was a pleasant place to be, with a good crowd of nice people.
After several days, the breakfast area was closed down, and the bar too, for some kind of "administrative" reason. The hotel experience was diminshed for a couple of days, and I felt it might have been handled better.
Design, comfort and convenience at its best. Couldn't ask for more. Staff was excellent too! Near alot of amenities. Highly recommended.
A hook or towel hanger in the bathroom would be great.
The pool The staff (went out of their way to ensure you were happy and relaxed) The ambience The location
The room we had could benefit from a little updating but it was ultimately fine!
beautiful place, beautiful room, comfort staying, best spot
nothing bad to say
Room was clean, staff was great. Nice view, pool was relaxing. Would stay there again, and would recommend it.
As with most hotels in Europe the A/C was just fair, a ceiling fan would have been nice. The in room refrigerator didn't work.
The pool and the public areas are beautiful. The pool is gorgeous and very relaxing, with chill-out music playing all day long. The hotel is indeed a gay hotel, with very attractive guests by the pool :-)
The rooms are quite old and do not live up to modern standards. The bathroom is like in an old apartment. The air-con was old and it took a lot of time to cool down the room. We had the studio apartment with kitchen. The drawers were old, and we actually had ants in the room. The staff didn't bring new soaps and shampoos everyday, so luckily we had our own (hey guys - this is ambarassing these days). There was no wi-fi in the room! The staff told us that they know there is a problem, but they had no solution (how about just telling this in advance and not mislead customers on booking.com). We had to bargain with the staff to get a discount for the price of international rates for 3G due to lack of wi-fi. Also - take into account that the hotel is 1.3 km from city center, and is located on a steep hill. There's nothing around the hotel, so everytime you want to eat or drink, you have to do a lot of walking. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, which is outrageous for this price.
the pool was set up perfect u had privacy yet there were other people there. the rooms were spotless, and the staff was great. One note upon my departure I had made an error in my itinerary. The owner and the manager personally came to my rescue . I was so greatful they turned a bad situation into a plus .... thank u Vasili, u came through naste kala
what I didn't like was no reflection on the hotel. the whole island is very hilly so the treak to the hotel from the town was tough at times. but even that didn't matter much because between the island and the the hotel it was great. I got a workout out of it
Great facilties and the guys took great care of us!
Only small downside is that the hotel is close to a busy road and so driving in and out of the property (we hired a scooter) can take some time while waiting for a gap in the traffic.
Two young straight females accidentally booked a gay hotel. Staff were friendly and didn't mind that we were females. Put us in a beautiful villa. Staff were extremely friendly.
The staff is incredible and everyone is so kind it's like coming home
Nothing to say
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they made our stay a real pleasure
Excellent all round hotel and car parking
Top of a hill from town and a little road noise
The receptionist was helpful. My room was upgraded because the hotel was almost empty.
Do not visit here at the start of season! Due to strike action on the ferries the hotel allowed me to arrive 1 night early, which was the day before they officially opened. However the hotel was not ready to receive guests the entire week I was there. I paid a premium for a hotel with a pool, however the area with the pool, bar and breakfast area was not open for for the entirety of my weeks stay. There was no hot water in the taps for two days and the shower for one. When I arrived there was no one at the docks to collect me as agreed when my boat arrived from Athens, despite me giving the ship details and it being 40 minutes late. I had to call various numbers to try and find out what was happening, and was panicked by the time someone arrived. My suite front door did not close satisfactorily, it locked but felt recently forced & loose. The outer security gates did not close and the key entry system was broken. The fridge in the room was silent half the time and 'keep you awake at night' the other half. At the end of my stay not compensation was offered for the state of facilities. Ants appeared from every corner of the room, they even went for my shoes yesterday because of some tiny residue from walking home. The price quoted to me for car rental was twice the best rate I was able to get online.
