Glyfada Beach Hotel    

Great location, right on the beach. Really enjoyed the hotel. Would certainly go there again.

We loved every minute of our stay. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was well run and well kept and the room was large and very clean. The balcony was private and overlooked the beach. The beach was a few steps from the hotel door and was clean, and sandy and warm water. We went swimming two or three times a day. The two tavernas that were within steps of the Hotel were very good traditional Greek food at reasonable prices. We will definately plan another stay at this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet, relaxing beach vacation. The breakfast was included in the room price and was very good.

The only thing we didn't like was having to leave so soon!

The hotel was impeccably clean. Our towels were changed every day and any clothes we left out were always folded. We were a group of 3 friends and had a room on the first floor with a lovely sea-view balcony and found that we had plenty of space. The room had a large bathroom, 3 door fitted wardrobe, fridge, tv, dressing table with chair, luggage table, bedside tables and 3 chairs and a table on the balcony - everything was well proportioned and we didn't find that we were tripping over each other at all. The hotel itself was very stylish with lovely artwork on the walls of the corridors and a nice open plan area with comfy sofas and a bar just off the reception. The hotel doesn't have a pool, but we found 3 sun loungers on the patio (where you can eat breakfast) which were great for a change from the beach (also as the beach is so close, we found that we didn't miss a pool at all). There was also an inside area for breakfast, where we mostly ate - the breakfast hours were listed as 8-10am, however, we went down at 7.30am one morning and everything was already laid out. In the evenings we often came back from a meal and relaxed on the sofas by the bar - would recommend the amazing hot chocolates wich the owner made us. We were a little chilly at night so we asked for some extra blankets which the hotel immediately supplied us with. We also booked a taxi one night through the reception, this turned out to be a local taxi driver, which was very helpful as we only wanted to go to the neighbouring village of Pelekas (very nice), meaning that we could arrange for the same taxi driver to pick us up a few hours later. The staff at the hotel were so helpful and lovely and we would have no hesitation returning or recommending the hotel to a friend.

The breakfast was fine, although the cooked selection (eggs, mini sausages, bacon) was never that hot - even when we were the first down to breakfast it was still luke warm. Additionally although there were some times up for the free bus service to Pelekas, when we waited at the bus stop the bus never arrived. The next day, these times had been removed from the notice board and when we asked at reception we were told that the bus had now stopped running for the season.

Great location if you are after a quiet, no frills, uncommercialised beach holiday in corfu

Close to a beautiful beach. Nice room with a nice view.Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Good for an absolute quiet break if you enjoy sunbathing and swimming in the ocean.

Nothing wrong with the hotel except from hard mattresses and pillows but Glyfada it self is nothing more than a beautiful beach and a few rather lousy tavernas and "supermarkeds".Taxi from airport to hotel charged us 40 euros. Walk a few hundred meters to the main road and catch a bus instead at the cost of 2.20 euros a ticket ( limited number of departures though). Don`t go here if you expect any kind of night life.

Very nice room with comfortable bed. Room included A/C and a refrigerator. Bathroom included a tub. The view was very nice.

The hotel is on the far side of the beach. You need to take the road back up the hill to get to the other side. Wish they would have explained this. The staff wasn't as friendly as I had expected from reading the other reviews, but they did everything I needed/asked for, so good enough. The restaurant is expensive and there is only a little mini-market on Glyfada with 2x 7-11 prices. If your budget is tight, best to bring you own food in from Corfu town. For a beach with more restaurants / shops, try Agios Gordios further south. I found Paleokanstritsa to be a better beach than Glyfada with more to do, but prices are higher and it was much more crowded. Glyfada is better for families with young kids, or people looking for a full size beach that's a little more quiet. All are very scenic.

The hotel is remote, in a quiet part of the island of Corfu. It's located 100m from a beautiful sandy beach, which is not crowded at all. The sea water is crystal clear. The rooms are all facing the sea and are very clean. Breakfast is good. There is a free wifi and parking in front of the hotel.

This was the most relaxing holiday we ever had in Greece. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Glyfada beach is definitely one of the best, if not the best, beaches on Corfu.

the hotel does not have an elevator. Dies nit have room service. The breakfast is poor and same every day. The restaurant which is owned by the hotel has fast service but very low standards for a Greek taverna. The portions were small and I could not find the freshness you would expect from a family taverna in Greek island. It is time Greeks understand that when they offer services they represent Greece and not just their business. Not good for people searching for quality and services during their vacation!

Glyfada Beach Hotel is a rare gem, tucked in a corner of Glyfada bay, it is perfect in every sense. The owners are always present and provide a level of service and care that is fully appreciated. This is a five star hotel in terms of value and the specialness that comes from being able to privately park you car on the site, have a long breakfast on the terrace. Walk 50 m to the beach, have a large balcony with a view over the bay and have dinner in the owners brothers restaurant right on the beach. Glyfada Bay is very special, no crass mass tourism, a balance of villas and just two hotels. And the big hotel is right at the opposite end of the beach so in front of the Glyfada Beach hotel is like family.

Super minor complaints, translucent shear curtains, so you could have the terrace doors open and still have privacy. Otherwise if you changed anything you might break the balance of a holiday beach hotel appealing to all ages and nationalities.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, nice breakfast, very close to the sea shore, quiet aria. you can ask at the reception to rent a car/bike/scooter and it will be delivered at the hotel.

there is no possibility for all inclusive meals and the taverns in the area are pretty expensive.

The service by staff and owners was extreemly helpful, tips and information as needed, flexible in order to make guests stay comfortable. The location by an isolated beach 30 minutes drive from Corfu city center and 10 minutes from the "Kaiser's Throne" at Pelekas is excellent for guest willing to combine a beatiful beach/ location wth a central point for exploring the Island by car. Excellent value for money.

Missing a lift for guests with heavy luggage

Located direct on a great beach. If you look for a beach holiday and an absolute quiet platce it's the right place. If you want nightlife, entertainment etc, you are in the wringbplace, ther's absolutely nothing around that could be reached by foot, having a car is a must to go places. Breakfast could be better, otherwise it's a good deal.
