Location to metro was great. Close enough to go down town and shop but be away from all that could possible arise in syntagma SQUARE.Great as I was there during all of taxi strike!!!! Then back again to airport with Metro. Breakfast variety was great. I did not like the fact that I had to move rooms 2 days after my check in because of renovations. I was there to help my father with his surgery so the close proximity to hospital was ideal but when I came home tired needing to rest , my room key did not work! When I went to ask...they said I had to move. I should have been warned. That was my only complaint. I also believe free wire less , unlimited time, should be included.

This is a competent and clean hotel, with decent rooms and a nice breakfast. Staff is helpful and polite. Location is quite crappy, the area is nothing to see and you will either get a room facing the noisy street or a back-side room facing some sort of geriatric hospital with a direct view into their facilities.

The staff was extremely curteous, helpful and kind. I especially liked that they all spoke English. The staff made me feel very welcome and as a female travelling alone, that was very important to me. Really nice hotel also.

The hotel was amazing and it looked much better than in the pictures! It is only a few minutes walk from the metro, and only two stops away from Syntagma. The staff was extremely friendly, they stored our luggage the last day and even printed our boarding passes. Everything was clean and new, the room spacious and well-lid with a nice balcony. The breakfast had a very big variety of food from dried fruit, warm food to feta and baklava! And for the low price we paid it was an excellent hotel!!!!

Located 50 meters from the Metro station Megaro Moussikis (good located), for us the relation quality/price was very good (70€/night). It is renovated, the breakfast was quite diverse (buffet) and the rooms comfortable. It is a good option for visiting Athen.

The staff was very friendly and accomadating. The breakfast buffet was excellent like in other European countries and the waiters were amazing. This is one of the best hotels in Athens. On my next visit to Athens, I will definitely stay at the Golden Age Hotel.

This is an excellent hotel in terms of value for money. It is a mid- range hotel focussed on providing facilities that would be required by a traveller who is not looking for luxury but still wants to be comfortable. The Internet charges are steep, but I personally feel this does not matter as the room rates are very reasonable. 5 minutes walk to the Metro, very safe neighbourhood. In a largely residential area, but convenient to sights. The property is kept very clean, toiletries provided were high quality and the breakfast is very extensive. Suitable for both business and leisure travellers. Lifts were quite small, though I was never inconvenienced by this.

“The rooms were like an apartment, spacious and comfortable, and it was economical for five. The shower was brilliant. There was a free breakfast. I chose it because it was near the metro line to the airport so we didn't need a taxi - bit of a cheapskate!” Lynne, Bath |
