スタッフは良い感じでした。インターネットは１時間４ユーロですが、日本語も見ることができます。朝食のヨーグルトと卵料理が美味しかったです。アクロポリスは見れませんが、夕焼けはきれいに見えました。部屋は狭いですが、価格的にはこんなもんかなと思います。我慢できないほどではありません。 通りに面していたので夜中まで交通音が響いてうるさかったことと、ちょっと見つけにくかった点。 |

付近の治安についてだが、ギリシャは総じて治安が良いので、「比較的悪い」程度であると感じた。人通りもそれなりにあるし、夜でも女性一人が歩いているのを見かけた。但し地元民の間でもこの付近はドラッグ場所として評判はよくないようだ。地下鉄はMetaxourghioからでもomniaからでも同じくらいで５，６分程度。Metaxourghioからの方が分かりやすいが、ホテルの手前で評判の悪いYH付近を通る。たむろしている人々にじろじろ見られることもある。omniaからは道を選べばむしろこちらの方が危険を感じずにホテルに行ける。但し夜遅くつく場合は、一泊目はタクシーを使った方がよい。部屋については、初日はバスタブなしの狭い部屋だったが、2日目からは広く、バスタブ着きの部屋に変えてもらった。バスタブについては前もってリクエストしていたが。。到着が真夜中だったので仕方ないのかもしれない。 |

とてもきれいなシティ・ホテルでした。 セキュリティもしっかりしていて、受付の女性スタッフは美人で、対応も良かったです！ お部屋も清潔で、使い易かったです！ 朝食も、素敵な屋上のレストランで、内容も充実していました。 一緒に泊った母も大満足でした。 一番大きな問題は、環境です！ この辺りは、治安があまり良くないです。 私は、背が高いせいか、今までスリに狙われることはありませんでしたが、駅からホテルまでの道で、スリ集団に取り囲まれてしまいました。暴れたので、被害はありませんでしたが、危なかったです。 数時間後、ホテルのお客さん（白人の若い女性）が何かの被害に遭った様で、フロントで警察やホテル関係者と話をしていました。 また、ホテルを出て数ｍ歩いた所で、朝からドラックをやっている人がいたり、夜は売春婦が裏通りにたくさんいました。 と、いう具合に環境だけが、大きな問題です。 |

地下鉄駅からホテルへの道路には座り込んでいる数人のグループがあちこちに見られ、雰囲気が悪く、夜は出歩けなかった。朝食をバルコニーでとれるのはよかった。 トイレ、バスルームは不快な臭いがした（排水溝から漂ってくる？）。部屋が思ったより狭かった。 |

朝食は8Ｆのレストランで眺めがよく気持ちよくいただけます。部屋は、エアコンの効きのいまいちな部屋もあるので確認した方がいいです。シャワーのみの部屋はとても洗面室が狭かったです。その後変更してもらったバスタブ付きの部屋は快適でした。 場所がガイドブックによると、アテネの中で最も治安の悪い地区のようです。オモニア広場駅からも歩けますが、夜はとても雰囲気がよくありません（女性2人で利用しました）。Metaxourghio駅の方がオモニア駅より近く、雰囲気も少しはましなので、夜はこちらを利用した方がいいのではと思います。 |

Athens City Gate Hotel was a big surprise. It turned out to be even better looking than the photos online. The lobby was very well decorated. The hotel room was immaculate and beautiful. The walls and ceiling were newly painted. The furniture and bed were new and modern. The TV worked perfectly with a large variety of stations. The bathroom was large and marble and clean. My only complaint is that I do like shower curtain! I hate getting water on the bathroom floor. This hotel was a happy surprise! Mary at the front desk was very helpful! |

The best part of our stay was the amazing service by the intelligent, witty, multilingual woman Mary at the front desk. She made our stay so much easier, amusing and generally pleasant. American highschool students running around yelling. Tacky. |

The hotel staff was very friendly and professional, the room was very comfortable and the air conditioner was excellent. Overall style and cleanliness thorughout the hotel also deserves mention. The coffee at breakfast was on the first day so weak it was barely drinkable (perhaps made for the youth group staying there?) but was better on the second day (group had departed?). The juices were both sugar water; perhaps one could have been more 'real' to give guests a choice at least. |

I liked almost everything about the hotel (staff, rooms, breakfast) I chose this hotel because I saw it is very close to city center - yes, it's true. Yet I didn't like at all the area were the hotel is placed - in a doubtful area, full of emigrants. During the day, there was no problem but as soon as it was getting dark, the streets around the hotel were full of drunk people, noisy people. |
