Great location - 5 minute walk to Fira centre restaurants and the bus connections. Fantastic staff that make one feel very welcome and provide the perfect, tailor-made advice for what to do in Santorini. Check out the restaurant across the road, convenient and good food.
The bathroom facilities are very poor and really unacceptable for a more mature couple. The shower head was not mounted, no bathroom mats (which was potentially dangerous on a slippery floor).
Provide info on how to get around the place of attraction without wasting time.
Humid if stay in the room at basement
The hotel provides free transportation to/from your entry points (port and airport)
The location is dangerous. You have to walk to/from town in a very busy main road where there is no sidewalk. It is life or death situation. The door to my room opened directly onto the main road without reception area like any normal hotels. Separate reception area is often closed so that you cannot communicate with staff about anything wrong with your room, in my case the toilet water tank. Also being right on the main road, it is awefylly noisy.
Comfort, noise, bathroom
Adriana was most helpful whenever I needed any help/information. Plus there's a pickup service to/from the airport. :)
Breakfast would have been a nice addition. :)
Location, inbetween Firostefani and Fira. Good restaurant nearby. Excellent Simos just in front. Easy to go Fira center in 5 minutes walk. Easy to go Firostefani too. Near bus station and main square Fira.
everything was ok
Great location, close to shops and eating places, free airport pickup and drop off. Adriana is a gem, she will organise transport, trips and all the information you require for your stay.
Good location, helpful staff, good quality accommodation for the price.
If you want a cheap but good location this is for you! However the bathroom is unclean and very basic!
Bathroom is very basic and poorly designed. No shower curtain
Location was ok but I would pick differently next time. It is a 15 min walk to Fira. Next time I would stay in Oia or on the caldera.
Small complaints: Pool was small and dirty, terrible wifi, hostel-style breakfast of bread, artificially flavored children's yogurt and powerdered orange flavored drink was not worth even the small 4 euro per person price. Large complaint: short version: We were forced to pay for a room we didn't book or want and blamed for not complaining the moment we walked in, even though reception was closed and we were given a random key by the driver. When we complained they threatened to call the police. Full version: We booked a room with a sea view, balcony, flat screen, etc. I had been in constant contact with the hotel and told them we would arrive at 10:20pm. At 9 pm, I received an email saying they were expecting us and the driver would be there. Online it says check-in is until 11pm. The driver was 25 mins late picking us up. We got to the hotel and reception was closed! He gave us a key to a random room and said he didn't know where we were staying but to ask in the morning bc it was late. It was clearly not the room we booked as it did not have a sea view, balcony etc. It was a dark, bare bones, dingy room, with a dirty towels and a shower that let water fill the bathroom floor. We were considering moving to another hotel because we were so disappointed, but the next day Adrianna said she would be moving us to the right room but we had to wait bc people were still in it! Anyways the room they moved us to was fine but upon check-out we were expected to pay full price, 4 nights in the deluxe from we booked. I asked why we weren't given a different rate for the first night, and Adrianna said all the rooms are the same price and we seemed nice so she did us a favor by giving us the second room. She also said she was under no obligation to move us. We responded saying we booked a certain room from online for 4 nights and were only given it for 3 bc someone else was in the from that night and she was conveniently unable to check us in.
The receptionist was very helpful and nice person, we liked very much. Transfer from / to the port very useful God situation. Economic, basic but enough for sleep a few nights Bus stop (Firostefani) 3 min walking to go to Ía
No wifi in the room Hard mattress Pool very small and cold No hairdryer
The kindness and expertise of the lady in the reception.
The view is different from what is annouced in the hotel page (including the pool). My room was large but horrible.
The staff were always helpful and friendly, the location was accessible to the whole island. We had the most amazing time!
Friendliness of the receptionist Location : close to Firastefani , ideal for sunsetgazing
the hardness and squeeckiness of the bed. The streets are quite noisy a night , so bring earplugs.
The lady in reception, Adriana, was absolutely amazing. Very helpful and very friendly! she really did her best to make every guest feel welcome. The place is well located at walking distance to see the beautiful landscapes that Santorini is famous for. The restaurant just across the street from the hotel is amazing good, the best (and we tried several restaurants during our stay)
The hotel agreed to pick us up from the harbor. The van arrived 1 hour + late and the driver did not apologize at all, he had an arrogant attitude and almost got into a fight with another driver in the way to the hotel. During our stay, we left the towels to dry at the hotel's balcony (what we thought it was the hotel balcony) the towels got lost and when we were about to leave, the van driver (at that moment we found that he was the hotel owner) wanted to let us know how stupid we are for leaving the towels in the balcony. i apologized few times and told him that i cannot change the past, what solution does he suggests? he didn't want anything, he just wanted to let us know how stupid we are for leaving the towels there. It didn't affect our holiday at all, but it did ruined the image we got left from the hotel.
Staff are amazing and helpful when it comes to tips for Santorini. Lovely attitude and accommodating.
The bathroom wasn't pleasant. Our toilet leaked water all over the bathroom floor and did not flush properly. When we mentioned it to staff, they dismissed it like it wasn't a problem. A shame considering they were great with everything else. We lined our towles around the Toilet.
Adriana is/was the perfect receptionist, very friendly and VERY helpful...even beyond her job title (ha) lovely smile! transfers were spot on & driver also very friendly. Room was adequate for the price we paid, did the job! Perfect location for buses, quads, town centre & local shop was just across the road! We'd stay there again
Pool slightly tinged, maybe needs a good clean inside and out BUT for the short time we were there we did not have to time to chill be a pool. There is so much to do in Santorini!
The location of Grande Murano to the centre of Fira was amazing, just a short walk. But not too close to be noise effected. It was also not too far to the famous sunset village of Oia. The staff were helpful recommending where to go on the island. Over all a pleasent stay.
We requested a double room but received a twin. They weren't opposed to pushing them together, however for the price paid I expected what we desired. The pool needed a clean bad. I personally didn't bother going in.
very noisy, bedroom next to the street the most dirty room I have ever seen- toilet brush was swimming in a pool of dirt... absolute disgusting
Very good location close to Firostefani
The forniture of the room is very old, the rooms were not so clean, bathroon very dirty and pillows very uncomfortable. The rooms are also very noisy as they are on the main road of Santorini...
The manager Adriana is very nice. She pick me up at the port, that is really helpfull. When I ask for something, such as a knife to cut water melon,it's no problem.Hotel have beautiful scenery, convenient traffic, especially nice breakfast.
If facilities like bathroom can be more luxury, that will be great.
kind reception stuff
no soundproof windows / too much noise from the street (cars all night long), the door of the bathroom could not close, far from the central bus / taxi terminal, far from Fira center, no hairdryer / LCD TV as promised, no shampoo / shower gel offered, no view to the Caldera
The accommodation was quite satisfying for the price. The rooms were simple and quite clean. The location was okay too. Across the hotel there is a mini-market which was a bonus. Andriana, the receptionist, was very pleasant since she always gave us advice and tips about where to go and what to visit. Overall, I think that the rooms are quite satisfying considering the price.
The only downside was that the hotel provides only one free transfer per room.
Nice view from breakfast place, helpfull staff at the reception. She gave me some information about sightseeing and boat tours. 15minutes from city center.
The bathroom was dark and small, there was no curtain between toilet. The cleaning staff didn't clean the room, forgot to put towels and bath mat. There was a large cockroach in the room! It was dead next morning, but the cleaning staff didn't take it away, but just put it into the toilet and didn't flush it. When I came back to the room in the evening, the cockroach floated in the toilet. The breakfast was too simple. My room's key was broken, I couldn't lock the door for a couple of days. Wifi was not stable, offten not connected.
View of back side of Santorini . Transfers included from ferry
