Hotel Handakas

Clean, good value. Ideal budget hotel if you're not looking for frills.

We booked this hotel because the next day we were going with a boat to Santorini. The bed in the room was squeeking every time you would move your toe. Very much noise from the busy road in front of the hotel. We did not sleep that night and could better have saved our money and simply leave early from our appartment in Chania. The staff could not speak english at all and requested me to pay cash instead of with credit card. Checking out took about 25 minutes because of this.

We stayed there for one night just before our flight. It was an excellent choice for us as we have a car and it's 10 minutes drive to the old town. there is a nice pool but it was too cold for that. the room was clean, good size, bathroom was excellent. there is a very nice balcony with good breeze.

During the night, other people that slept in the hotel, came back very late and i could hear everything from outside and heard them going in, taking a shower, etc... I would especially recommend this hotel for yound people who go out at night :) . But really, except for this event, all was above expectations.

We booked this hotel as we were flying early next morning and it is near the airport. It was very uncomfortable, we were both bitten during the night the pillows were like lumps of lead. Would not recommend this hotel under any circumstances.

Personal was greatly friendly and helpful ! Room was clean enough.

This hotel has a wrong location on the map and Google Earth! It's not close to the sea as mentioned and it's behind the road which is going along the coast. You should walk approximately 200 m on the road without pedestrian zone to reach a bus or 300 m more to the beach. Point true location please. Coffee was instant and very diluted what is completely not standard greek style to prepare it. As well as tea ...one bag was used to prepare 1 liter of "drink" and then kept warm to distribute. Please improve breakfast or at least make just a hot water and separately usual tea and instant coffee bags. So customers could make tea or coffee themself. It's good if someone from the personal knows English even if a little. All other things were OK.

We simply wanted cheap overnight accommodation near Heraklion airport and city centre.For this the Handakas was ideal.Amourdara has nothing to reccommend it other than a very long beach.Facilities are few.

Zimmer und Bad nicht sauber, Bettwäsche abgenutzt, Dusche (Brausekopf) nahezu unbrauchbar,

Πρώτον ότι τό όλο περιβάλλον ήταν οικογενειακό.Οί ιδιοκτήτες πολύ φιλικοί,άνετοι, καί πάντα γελαστοί καί πρόθυμοι νά εξυπηρετήσουν τόν πελάτη.Τό πρωινο ήταν καταπληκτκό άφθονο εξαιρετικής ποιότητος καί κάλυπτε τίς απαιτήσεις όλων τών εθνικοτήτων.Τέλος τό δωρεάν Ιντερνετ

Πρέπει νά αρχίσει σιγά-σιγά ή ανανέωση καί ό εκμοντερνισμός τής επίπλωσης τών δωματίων..-

Enligt mina förväntningar var personal, service, städning, poolen och frukost alldeles utmärkt. Det var jättebra att ha som bas för våra utflykter. Vi hade bil hela veckan. Även utbudet av restauranger på kvällarna var tillräckligt. Tyst och lungt läge.

τιποτα , απο τισ 3 βραδυεσ που εκλεισα καθησα τισ 2 !!! και εφυγα .

ανακαινιση στο εσωτερικο , καθαριοτητα, αερισμοσ των χωρων,λογιστηριο- resepsion !!
