location, owner is very friendly
- Very kind and loud owner (Asterix fans must meet) - lowest price with breakfast - 5 mins to centre - quiet in September - all you need for breakfast (tea, cofee, cocoa, vegetables - cucumber, tomato and pepper, cheese, ham, marmelade, bread, milk, cornflakes)
- Wi-Fi disconnects very often in the evening - bathroom needs a deep cleaning and renovation - bad luck with hot water, a lottery - dirty dishes for breakfast - no fruits for breakfast
Nice and friendly staff, clean rooms, excellent for this price.
staff! The owner was amazing guy with a lot of energy! He treat you like a family member. breakfast
The location, quietness, breakfast which was unexpected, and the very friendly staff. Really good for the price.
Nothing which I didn't like.
22 Euros for a single room with breakfast in central Kos town in the peak season. Too good to be through? Reasonable central location in Kos town.Nice terrace for breakfasts. The brother of the owner who was running the hotel was a nice old man with a funny sense of humour.
You get what you pay for! A small single room on the ground floor behind the resting room of the receptionist. Weared out mattress. No A/C is a hassle in August. Traffic noise from the street. Television did not work most of the time. Weak Wifi signal in the room.
owner very nice and helpful, big room with balcony
toilet seems like nobody cleaned it before, no wi-fi, breakfast instead of 8am started 8:30am
Location, price, friendly staff, great balcony area
No hot water for shower, which had a broken shower head that sprayed water everywhere. Bed was lumpy & hard, pillow the same
Proprioter very friendly and laid back. No hassle about arriving early and leaving luggage until chech in time or until we had to get evening ferry.
Bathrooms were very dated and although on inspection were clean, showering was a "cringworty" experience! Our two nights was enough.
Price, good location and big room
-The room was really noisy because the street in front of. You can heart everything. -Not wifi in the rooms -They can improve the cleaning
Wi fi, close to the beach, cheap.
The hotel is just plainly DIRTY. There was long hair on our sheets when we arrived and when we asked to change them, they said it was from the cleaning service?! The bathroom was dirty, hair in shower drain as well. The street the hotel is in is very noisy and the guests are sitting in the garden talking loudly until late. The owner is very colourful to say the least, and the receptionist completely disinterested. We always go to cheap hotels, but I would not recommend this one.
The owner was really kind and helpful. Funny older man. He gave us some tips like where to eat and so on.
Mr. Roussos, the owner, is a character right out of a Walter Brennan movie! He is vivacious and accommodating. There is no air conditioning on the property. With the revelries going on in the area I had trouble sleeping with windows open. Mr. Roussos brought us fans for the next evening.
No air conditioning.
garden/terrace fast wi-fi quiet location/area close to center 5min. walking super helpful receptionist/manager
the owner(friendly and helpfull), clean room and bathroom, we had a balcony at the back side (not good view), great simple breakfast including eggs, tomatoes, cucumber. great value for money (we got special deal from booking.com)
there was no A/C in room which made things a bit hard in the heat of july
The owner and staff were great Excellent location Big breakfast Room cleaned every day
Rooms are old and need an little upgrade Small bathroom
Able to get WiFi in room. Good central location. When I complained about noise the owner was quiet the next day and the room did then get cleaned.
Room wasn't cleaned and still had rubbish from previous guest. It was very noisy from Traffic. The owner deliberately play music loudly and bangs about to get people up for breakfast. The mattress clearly didn't fit the bed and hung over the sides of the bed frame. The bar is permanently closed and should be removed from advert, as a solo traveller this reduced any chance of meeting other people.
It was in a quieter area, the breakfast was great. Ideal for those on a budget!
The rooms were very basic, with no air con which was a shame. The bathroom was quite old.
The hotel is located 10 minute walk from the beach on one direction, and the city center and the port on the other. You can get the ride for the city attractions from the port and a local bus to Askelpion. The buses that leave for the other beaches and places like Zia village are 15 minute walk and leave from the local "central bus station" (a big parking area in the open). The owner Papis is a really sweet guy. It was worth staying there just to meet his character. The hotel itself is basic but clean. The rooms are comfortable and have a porch that you can sit in and hang your clothes and towel to dry. It is very pleasant to sit outside in the yard in the early morning and have your coffee.
The shower is a bit small, and there is no air-conditioning, although I left the shades open and it didn't feel hot.
