Manolis, the owner is a very friendly and kind host who gave us tips to have a nice short trip in Paroikia. Mrs Thodora treated us like her children and made sure we had an excellent stay. They picked us up from the port even though it was at a walking distance. The small hotel is budget friendly clean and situated 100 m from the Paroikia beach. It is a 5' walk from the port and the center of Paroikia. The rooms are big and sunny. I will go back next summer for sure!!!
Room was big and nice, clean, friendly staff, got a free drink for waiting for my room.
Front desk is not 24/24, so keep your keys with you. WiFi didn't work in the room, just at reception.
Location: 2 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from the port. Big and nice terrace. Lovely staff.
The bed was really bad and too old. The shower curtain should to be changed.
Good location, away from the busy port but just a stones throw away from the local beach, tavernas and shops. Wifi exceptionally fast, air con perfect and our room was freshened up to an excellent standard daily. We returned here on our second visit back to Paros to get away from the large number of tourists on other islands, we were given an upgrade to a bigger room with a kitchenette and a quiet balcony - making our experience of Helliniko even better. Staff were always really friendly and helpful. We will definitely be recommending to family and friends and shall be returning ourselves :)
Great location, comfortable clean room absolutely wonderful breakfast! Would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to Paros. The family running the business were lovely and the atmosphere was very relaxed.
The family that run the hotel are just like your own family and make you very welcome.
We had a wonderful stay with Manos and family. It felt very homely, and not at all like staying in a hotel. It is close to the beach and restaurants, in a quiet part of town. We very much hope to return!!
The location was super and easy walking to beach and old town. Receptionist was friendly and helpful.
For a non European person it was a difficult to shower without flooding the bathroom. The family tended to have dinner pretty late and the woman was very loud.
To much mosquitos
The owners of this family-run guest house are all very hospitable, friendly and helpful. It was a delight to stay in such a welcoming place. The room was comfortable and clean and I was very grateful for the air-con, particularly when I arrived, hot and tired. There's shared areas inside and outside, with both shade and sun. I was made to feel very at home.
Arrived around midnight and desk was manned. Showed to our room within minutes.
Room was small for three people. No room for luggage and bathroom leaked from somewhere. Would not suggest long term stay,
Manos and his family are an absolute joy to deal with. Very close to beach Very friendly/cute dog The building was very nice and reception was particularly nice Wifi was brilliant Manos was extremely helpful he went out of his way to book us a taxi during a busy time. I would mark this hotel 10/10 and my 13 year old and 11 year old daughter have marked this hotel 10/10 It was a pleasure to stay here I would definitely recommend it. Lovely staff, a nice room near to resturaunts and cafés and close to beach we loved it and we will be back! :)
A traditional, family own hotel. Manos, the son and coordinator at the hotel where very service minded and gave us some really good recommendations and tips for our stay, like excursions and restaurants. Near the Livadia beach, at the same time not very far from Parikia center.
A bit old, and the staff spoke poor English except for the very service minded son Manos. We had a bit hard too sleep, the hotel where a bit noisy and the AC where a bit disturbing. Quite a lot of traffic around the house. Facilities like breakfast and wi-fi where a bit too simple.
Τhe room was incredibly small and very dirty. The house-holders were very rude (only the son of family made a small effort to service us, and this only after our complaints). We remained for 7 overnight stays and the housekipper was only entered in the room in order to takes the rubbish. It had a lot of noise, which was caused from the householders' fights. The old woman owner tried at the appropriate time to insult us, that we did not enter from the right door, that we used the error tap e.t. As generally speaking it was a disappointment!!!
The location is near the beach of Paros about 800m uphill. Good internet and from the outside it looks lovely. Good thing was a decent climate control. Friendly and helpful manager.
The appartment we stayed was a 4 berth appartment. About everything was old fashioned. The kitchen and bathroom looked as if last refurbished in the seventies. One of the beds is in the kitchen itself. Not everything was clean.
Lovely gardens, near beach.
A bit dated
The owner's son is really helpful and gave us solid advice regarding where to eat and which beaches to go to. The room was comfortable. We really appreciated the glasses of ice-cold orange juice on arrival because the day was boiling!
We requested a double bed but when we arrived there were two singles. The owner put a foam piece down the middle, which helped but wasn't comfortable. The hotel was a little further away from the busy part of town than we expected, but still not a far walk.
Very nice place to stay. Owners very friendly, excellent value.
central location, friendly and polie staff.
no kitchen corner in the room as it was stated in the hotel description, Problems with WiFi.
This is propably the best hotel that I've ever visited. Our room was very clean and comfortable and everything was working well. The owners were one of the nicest people I've ever met and we got a very warm welcome. I can definitely recommend this to everyone who wants to stay in a small and cosy family-owned hotel.
I stayed here for three nights and wished I had stayed longer. Manos and his family always greeted me with a friendly smile and made me feel at home. They are always willing to help you with whatever you may need. Even if it's just a pleasant conversation. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable and only a 2 minute walk to the beach! There's plenty of restaurants and cafe's nearby. When I come back to Paros, I will be staying here again.
Friendly staff, huge room, comfortable bed, nice balcony, cheap, close to beach, complete kitchen and restaurants. Very good value for money
Not much to complain about but Wifi was bad, shower was weak and bed was squeaky :)
I can only describe Giannis Theodora, and there son Manolis as the most hospitable people i have met, rooms were clean, and tidy and nothing was a problem to them and i only stayed for 1 night but would certainly stay longer next time so if you are going to Paros try the Helliniko.
The personnel was extra friendly. The owner offered us a welcome drink made of nectarines from the hotel garden and told that the nectarines were free for taking. We were given a lift to the port when we left, although it wasn't included in booking details.
The owner forgot to tell us about the use of shower (how to get warm water) so the first shower was cold. Next morning the use was explained and there were no more problems with hot water.
Very friendly staff, upgraded my room without extra charge, clean towels every day. Nice and clean room certainly value for money. Wi-Fi was fast
A bit far from the port (about 700m) Bathroom needs renovation
