Surrounded by a verdant pine forest, the beachfront Astir Egnatia Alexandroupolis is also within walking distance of the center of the city.
Score from 758 reviews Very good
Friendly welcome again. Alexandropolis is not a great sea-side resort, but an ideal stop for drivers on their way to / from Turkey. There are some really fun eating places just one block away from the hotel.
I liked that it was in a very central location and Alexandroupoli is wonderful. I liked the ease of wifi connection. The room was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was very limited, no scrambled eggs either.
Friendly staff, clean, good location
Rooms and public areas need renovation, no balcony for every room
Close to the port which was handy because we came late at night with the last ferry from Samothraki. Staff was nice and had the rooms ready at a late hour.
The interior of the rooms felt a bit quaint (not so new).
Main problem. Need beter insulation. You can here everybody . Parking problems
Friendly staff Situation
Noisy during the Night
Location, close to the harbour
Very noisy, on the main streen of Alexandropolis, it was like sleeping on the sife of the road, the room looks like one from the early '70, old furniture, old TV, minibar empty, they even have am old radio in the wall! No mosquito net at the bathroom, so, in the morning it was full with this bloody creatures. Extremelly poor breakfast for 5 euros per person, not even a vegetable on the table, I had to ask for a tea. Poor wifi signal. Too expensive for the money we payed, 60 euros for a room and services that looks like a 30 euros. The receptionist was smoking in the lobby even the smoking was forbitten! Avoid the place if you can!
We got a discount for the not working toilet and the lady was really nice as appose to the men at the night reception
Load street. Toilet not working
I did like smiling staff.
ı didn't like reception of television broadcast transmission
In the city centre of Alexandropolis. Location of the hotel is good. They have prepared an extra bed for our doughter even we did not requested before.
There is a noisy street in front of the hotel and it is not easy to sleep. The bathroom is small and needs a renovation. Finding a parking place near the hotel can be a problem sometimes. Because the hotel does not have parking place.
Location is good. Lady in the reception is also good
The room 403 needs a proper shower curtain and shower holder. They slid a piece of tile to fix the shower curtain apparatus to stay steady :)
very good staff
very noisy light breakfast
The hotel staff were very kind, helpfull and friendly. location is exelent, hearth of the centre and dimokratias st. rooms are small but enough for short holidays.
bed was very unconfortable
I arrived at 07.00 a.m. off an overnight flight from London, and they were kind enough to provide me a room at once, with no extra charge.
The relationship price-quality was extremely good.. And the people working at the hotel friendly..the cleaning was good, I only wish I had a room with a view also!
Staff were very kind. The location near the port makes the hotel the ideal place to spend a night before taking the ferry to Samothrace.
Good location not far from the port and center
Very primitive hotel, just for one-night-stand, and not for theese money
It is in the central part of a beautiful city.
The advertised breakfast, is not breakfast, but a joke. A cup of coffee and a piece of cake.
